I was able to buy 2 battery banks right after your original video and I liked them so much that I've been looking everywhere for them. Now I know what happened, and yes I remember the $5 gift card offer.

It's a real shame that such a fantastic manufacturer vanished because Amazon banned them. I bought a RavPower Solar Panel 2 years ago that still works perfectly till today. I use it with a RavPower 26800mah powerbank.
They were soliciting 5 star reviews with a reward of a $10-$20 Amazon gift card. Soliciting a good review is directly against Amazon’s TOS.
Not sure why, but I posted quite a lengthy comment about alternative power banks on here and it appears RUclips has immediately expunged it. 🙄

Amazon packaging used to be high quality. Lately everything arrives in a cheap envelope. I recommend wireless fast chargers.

Well, I found this: amzn.to/3CKnsIq ... That's the 90W RAVPower branded under iSmart - but no power banks anywhere, and no wall wart charger on Amazon.com that I can find. Posted on July 30th, and same manufacturer on the fine print, with part number 'RP-PC128'. So, maybe they're sneaking back in!
Yeah Amazon took ravpower down so they have to rename the brand but it looks exactly the same and same specs

A very good video. I keep buying because of their specs (always see something I want) and the unbeatable price. I started buying cables and chargers and they were very good quality, so I acutally searched for the very battery but it wasn't available. I see their product but most aren't available, so they have not been reinstated?

RAVPower is up and running. I emailed them a couple days ago asking where these would ship from. Got a response right away. They said they have a US warehouse, and apparently one in Germany and Japan as well.

Had a look through your comments and couldn't see anyone mentioning the Ravpower 20,000mah 60w bank.

I have the RAVPower Portable Charger 15000mAh PD3.0 Power Bank purchased in 2020 and it’s no longer working. Shows 100%. What do you suggest. It hasn’t been used a lot.
I own 4 of the 90 watt dual power and I have bought 4 more for friends and family. All running great. Use them every day some are on 24 hours.
Funny thing...I just ordered a Rav power bank from eBay. I didn't know they were that hot of a commodity.
My RavPower File Hub will not show videos through my ios version 16.3.1 but will show videos through my older ios ipad with version 9.3.5. These videos are downloaded from RUclips as MP4. Looking for a solution.
I miss ravpower on Amazon I ordered at Least 5 portable chargers from them 2 broke down on me but ravpower changed them with no issues. The latest Ravpower portable charger I have is the 15000 one with a built in flashlight and display that read the remaining battery I love it I passed it down to my sister who needed it and it still works good a year later it charges my Oneplus 9 phone twice before it hits 0% when this one dies I will get a newer version maybe the 20000 version. I still support this brand.

I'm here A year later in search of what the hell happened to RavPower. That bank is no BS even today I use it daily. They are still around but it seems different. Still love RavPower product and will give their deserved products 5 stars.

Same and agreed even for me both the 100wh RavPower PowerBank and the AC PowerBanks I have are incredible. Hope they make a comeback 🙏

Have you checked out the tech progress with LiFi yet?
It uses LED light instead of RF.
Obviously much faster but wont go through walls etc. was being developed by PureLiFi out of Edinburgh University in Scotland.
Bound to be much safer than RF at 3ghz etc. Would work wherever phones could pick up light. So… even the light poles in your suburb..
With 5G/6G- it will never be implemented. This was a popular concept in the early 2,000's. Plus LED lights are notorious for leaking data, including your conversations...
Another reason why I prefer living in Thailand - RAVPower is readily available on "Lazada" our answer to Amazon (although associated with Alibaba)
They're on Newegg, great prices too. It's unfortunate rav power isn't honoring the warranties.

My baseus 30000mah recharge at 65w and outputs up to 20volts 65w which works perfect with my laptop. Ravpower are good but more expensive but I still want one
Today is February 12, 2022 and I also looked up on Amazon another RAV POWER HUB 60 watts 6 ports .I have one already and it's very good I wanted to reorder and it said sorry this page is not available and I noticed something was not right so you hit the nail on the head you cannot find these RAV POWER HUBS LIKE BEFORE.I would go on RUclips and search the link that they left for the charging Hub and it says sorry this page is not available.

Funnily enough I was just in bed looking at my Ravpower wireless iphone charger i’ve had for 4 years faultless and thought you know what i’ll pop a review on Amazon to then see I couldn’t leave a review as it didn’t exist anymore.
So I then looked for other products and found none.
This led me here and it is a shame they did this as there was no need to buy positive reviews at all.
I love RavPower their power banks are eternal🤗

I think RAVPower may be selling their products rebranded as Alfox, at least on Amazon Japan where I live. Cant find anywhere confirming this tho, but the products look exactly the same
At this point, it seems they have 5 new brands where it's the same thing, but different name. They sure are determined, and I won't complain. LOL

Its so sad, i've got a fantastic ravpower fast charger, since 2018 never break, super powerfull, always always ALWAYS works! The best charger 6 ports i ever had. 😢

I 've bought a 3 port RavPower usb (5V/6A) power adapter a year ago. After some weeks, it has started to make some noise while working. I emailed the customer service, and I 've sent a recording of that noise. Then, they said it was normal, while the other power adapters in my house didn 't make a similar hearable noise. The customer service proposed to give me a small refund, but I didn 't accept it.
I regretted to not having bought an Anker power adapter instead.

Amazon now sells an Evatronic PD Pioneer 20.000 mAh 60W powerbank that looks identical (incl. the use of LG 21700 cells) to the RAVPower one. The only difference is it now seems to support PPS for Samsung "Super Fast Charging" (still capped at 25W like with the Samsung chargers...).
Used it for years on iPad but not supported on latest IOS
Since this has happened, Ravpower appears to have disappeared completely now. Their website redirects to Taotronics and has basically no products on it.

I have a 20000 mah mophie power bank with 30w pd port it’s called the powerstation xl it’s really expensive but good I got it at an Apple store in London
It’s always a risk to test out products on the e-commerce market. One thing Amazon can do is use their own analytics using other retail brands who sell on Amazon… then make the same thing and slap their own Amazon basics on it. Basically not having to take a risk

Rav power is a horrible company, two of my power banks stopped working, one won't charge and the other charging port fell into the unit. I called them, and because I was out of warranty, they told me I was out of luck. Rave Power just lost a customer for life, I would never buy any of their products ever.
Ravpower does have their own web site and that is where I bought mine march 2021
Anker battery banks are better then Rav power imo. Powercore iii is a 65w fast changing power bank.

Amazon should not be allowed to have such terms in their agreements. They should offer the product for sale and anything between the customer and the manufacturer is none of their business.
You can order directly from thier website. I have purchased several items from them.
And thier products are great I have had zero issues.

It's not incentivising reviews that's the problem, it's that they required 5 stars on the review to receive the gift card. Therefore paying for good reviews.

TOS is TOS no matter how good the product is. Switched to Anker after the pull and replaced all my ravpower stuff with Anker products and honestly Anker is better, they even have % displays on their bigger units.
Seems daft they stopped manufacturing I know they are using alternative names to list some in amazon., they were good products I was looking afor a couple of things too now can't get them. Equivalent do not seem as good.
I’m in Illinois and the products from ravpower take 6 days to get to my residence. Also, customer support is if-y. They sometimes take hours, minutes or even days to respond and most often not minutes.

They probably hired a foreign digital market strategist? I know some countries have deep pockets full of digital marketing tactics and their market are poorly regulated.
RAVPower 61W charger fried my Chromebook. Not happy.
They were gaming the system, essentially paying for 5-star reviews / lying to potential buyers. No matter how good your product is, that’s a no-no.
Exactly. Except that companies game the system all the time to boost their own profits - even in the medical industry.
@@ScottiesTech Yes, but that’s not exactly an accurate comparison: legal loopholes can be exploited by big pharma and other corporations for example - but that’s far different to leaving a fake peer review. Paying for product placement and advertising is also very different. I’m not saying either is the right thing to do, but as much as I loved their product, I applaud Amazon protecting what *should* be honest reviews.

maybe quality control is better on Belkin. but if you watch chargerlab teardown videos you will notice Ravpower uses parts with better brands.
It's not just because of the $5 review offer. They participated in the review groups on Facebook and whatsapp. Amazon obtained a leak from the groups and every manufacturer that paid for reviews. China is notorious for unscrupulous business tactics and they do deserve to be taken down. I love Ravpower also but not if that's how they do business. 91% of ALL new sellers on US amazon are Chinese. Many of these China companies file trademark infringement or do product page hijacking to US sellers product pages. It's gotten like the wild west on Amazon, and even Amazon themselves burn the sellers on there. It's a VERY hard market to navigate and ZERO security for US selllers. Such a shame that Amazon would allow such a harsh environment for US companies especially being that they are a US company. Very heartless.

Not sure why Amazon got so took the action they did and what’s even more annoying is that Rav-Power was using any tactics to bolster sales - their gear is excellent and good value for money! Amazon seriously need to get their own house in order meaning there are so many products online with fake reviews, seems like they need to resolve that first, or is Amazon going to cancel themselves for failing consumers?

All of my ravpower devices have been just fine after years of use. Meanwhile I’ve had a couple of anker chargers/cables go bad on me in the same timeframe.

Sorry, but paying Amazon to promote your product is not the same as paying for a review. You can pay Amazon to promote a 2-star product and it will be just that, a promoted product that no one will buy because of a 2-star rating.
While paying people to inflate a 2-star product to a 4.7 rating will make people buy it over a lot of other worse rated products.
If there is one thing Amazon takes very seriously it's review manipulation after becoming severely unbalanced from review farms.
In the end, it was RAVpowers lacking trust in their own products. Why else pay people money to give your 5-star product a 5-star review.
The Chinese operate in a shady kind of way sometimes, it's a culture thing....
