    Peake conflicts be like:
"Lord Piek Peake's 10 yr old daughter, Piper Peake gets rejected as a potential wife for King Aegon the Xth. As a response, House Peake launches a rebellion.
    Casualties:
Rebels: 3 wounded (scratched by a kitten)
Royalists: 2000 knights dead, the king (Burnt to death by Oil poured on him from the battlements) , the hand, the master of coin and his mistress.
    4500 wounded
Aftermath: House Peake loses 3 acres of Land. Lord Peake's son becomes a Ward at Storm's End for 3 years.

I’d argue that houses Lannister and Frey aren’t depicted as historically evil, like house Bolton and Peake are. They seem to be as much of a mixed bag as any other lords. The Freys are always prickly because they’re “new money” that will never be fully respected by most other well-established houses.
Tywin and Walter are just such complete bastards in the modern story, and were in control of their houses for so long that they seem more awful. But let’s not forget that Starks have quite a few ruthless lords in their history too.
But I’m not arguing about Peake and Bolton. They’re clearly rotten.
Bracken seems to have more assholes than usual but their feud with Blackwood seems pretty evenly split with crappy behavior all around.

The biggest thing I've seen to come out of the "Friends in the Reach" discussion is the idea that House Redwyne,Like House Frey during the Butterwell-Frey wedding/second Blackfyre Rebellion has been keeping communications open on both sides. They have the most feared fleet in Westeros and yet they didn't send any ships in Support against the Golden Company in the War of the Ninepenny kings.

@@dominiqueodom3099 House Tarly also seems like a good candidate. The Reach is ruled by women in Randyll's eyes, as Mace Tyrell is more a figurehead for the Queen of Thorns. Randyll Tarly is quick to dismiss news of Jon Con and FAegon as nothing but Kevan Lannister has doubts and thinks him dangerous. Then Kevan is killed by Varys, another supporter of Aegon.

@QuinnTheGM thats just not true. Literally the opposite. He goes out of his way to show there's good and bad on both sides. Even portrays Eddard as a fool with the way characters like Jorah talk about him.
Hell Jaimes whole character is a testament to this.
Pretty much every conflict in the book he makes it somewhat ambiguous on who was in the right because it is totally subjective. Even when there is a clear cut "villain" there's always a few characters on their side who are somewhat good natured and just there due to circumstance. He even tries to makes us sympathize with the odd Frey.

Peake rebellion was more effective than all the Blackfyre rebellions combined. Killed a King, the Lord of Casterly Rock and the Lord of Castamere.
Also don’t know if it’s brought up enough, but stealing Orphan Maker from house Roxton was probably one of the most scummy things you could do. The Roxtons are a fairly small house with their only real claim to fame being that sword and the man just pulls finders keepers instead of just returning the sword following Jon Roxton’s death.

Hell say what you want, but even most of the other "evil" houses have a more sympathetic history.
House Frey might have come from exploiting their bridge, but really it was a smart move and they didn't go full bastard mode until Walder came around.
The Lannisters have their ups and downs for sure, but really its mostly Tywin and Cersei that stick out as the main antagonistic forces.
Boltons are....ok yeah can't really defend those guys.
Brackens definitely have their fair share of shitty actions themselves, but honestly they seem pretty reasonable as long as you keep them away from the Blackwoods. Plus, their whole feude is so ambiguous in origin that they may have been in the right at one point, even if we're generally lead to sympathize with the Blackwoods more often than not.

@@matztz_4560 I mean aside from the fact that iron island culture is kind of terrible on a fundamental level, I looked into the Hoares and they too are a surprisingly diverse bunch in terms of evilness. There were at least two periods in history when the Hoares are surprisingly liberal in their approach, aiming for trade, cooperation with the mainland and discouraging or even outlawing the old way, adopting the faith of the seven either wholly or in part and gaining the support of the westerlands in one instance. Obviously that didn't last, one line of "good" Hoares was overthrown by a much more antagonistic member of the family and then there's obviously the three that ruled the Riverlands (which also followed a period of much more peaceful iron island rulers).
It's similar for the Greyjoys. Admittedly I could find fewer examples of good Greyjoys, but theres a few examples still of them trying to be more closely tied to the mainland and even letting the faith of the seven back (which didn't last long). Hell, Quellon Greyjoy, Theon's grandfather, tried to reform the islands to be much more peaceful and to get rid of the old way, only to be survived by three sons that couldn't care less for his plans.

The Starks have eradicated multiple houses in their quest to conquer the North. The Targaryens equally saw many houses go extinct. I mean, can anyone defend Aegon roasting the entire Gardener family out of existance as good? Or Hoares even? Everyone is looking out for themselves and stoop as low as needed in the situation and the moral grandstanding in this video just comes across as oblivious.

Unrelated, but I'd like to see covered topic of Targaryen marriages. What if they need to unite Westeros not only politically but also by blood? Obviously in Mad King and his descendants's blood there's blood of Baratheon, Arryn and Martell. Aegon V married with family from Riverlands if that counts. Jacerys failed to connect Fire with Ice (Stark), but it's likely Rhaegar succeeded. Tyrrell (or Hightower) and Lannister houses connected with the royal family, but their genes weren't passed on.
