El tripode viene con el Arc quick release? o hay que comprar uno aparte? Porque revisando en Amazon, en las imagenes sale que viene con el Arc quick release pero en las especificaciones del producto no dice nada
Thank you for this review. I do wonder what real drawbacks there are to the tilt and pan functions beyond what you mentioned. I mean, do you have any workarounds to make the pans and tilts work that are problematic to this tripod's design?
Pan and tilts works fine - I think I just meant that if you're making a living doing panning and tilt shots you'd probably want to spend a few thousand dollars on a top of the line video head. A compact travel tripod is not going to outperform a big rigid tripod. The performance on the video head we get on the CT-195 is surprisingly good and useful imo. But I can't say that as people would attack me at once in the comments :D "So you think it's better than my $4000 Super Pan RCT Smooth Action Video 5000 - what a joker you know nothing about video gear. Cause believe me, those people are real and they have to tell the world what they think. Even if the only read the title ;) PS I've been out shooting with this tripod three days in a row now finishing up a project.
@@thomasfransson Fantastic. Thanks for your thoughtful response! I'm very interested in this tripod and you are helping me make purchasing decisions. Cheers.
Hi! I'm using the 4130 from smallrig and the included (with the cage) nato rail for my monitor if I'm not using the XLR handle. I know some cages from other manufacturers have made it difficult to use adapters. I've not tried the metabones on my rig, but I am using the MC-11 adapter without any hiccups. I have a video on my FX30 rig that you could check out for inspo. All put together with QR parts to fit the rig in a regular camera bag.
It's a travel tripod so it's not as sturdy as a heavy duty tripod. That said, once you have it set up and locked in place it's quite sturdy and I trust it with my built out FX30 rig with V-mount and 800g+ lenses. The more weight you put on it the sturdier it gets in my experience. And there's a hook at the bottom of the center column where you can hang a bag or extra weight if you want to keep it nailed down to the ground if you're using a super light weight camera.
What do you guys think about the tilt feature?
This is the type of review's that I truly enjoy...
🙌
Thank you Jermaine
The release plate has two knots! Do I need another release plate because my camera only has one
It's a standard arca type quick release plate. Hope that helps

Yes, there's an arca qr plate
Nice feature. Easier then using my L-bracket and have to switch between the sides 👍
So true!
I've always dreaded when it's time to get vertical shots. There will definitely be more of those coming up now 🤩
Great review thanks
Thanks for watching!

Always happy to help!
I love your color grading colors, do you have any Luts available?
Thanks!
No released LUT's but there probably will be in a near future. I have a few that I need to finalize and do the whole package with.
hey thomas which cage would you recommend for a minimal rig ,i use a metabone adapter so is there a cage that is uitable for the fx30?

How sturdy is it when fully extended?
It's a travel tripod so it's not as sturdy as a heavy duty tripod.

is the fluid head detachable by any chance?
Yes, you can unscrew it and use whatever head you'd like that has threads on it.
