I HATE Julie Plec so much. The main reason I watched The Vampire Diaries in the first place was Stelena and she RUINED IT. The only reason I continued the show was in hopes that Stelena gets back together which sadly never happened. So now I only watch all of Seasons 1 and 2, part of Seasons 3 and 4, and a few episodes in Season 5. That’s it. Who agrees? Who’s with me? No one? Seriously? Just me? Ok.

Even though I’ve seen The Vampire Diaries so many times I keep hoping, wishing, and praying that Stelena gets back together even though I know it never happens. I’m so happy I have and read the book series by L.J.Smith, though, because Stelena is canon AND endgame in them. 😁😘🤪😉
I just tell myself they end up together in the books and that’s what counts. I will say though, thanks to the shows ending it’s kept me from rewatching it and I crave to rewatch it all the time, but then lose interest or become angry when I think how they destroyed Stefan’s and Elena’s love to satisfy a bunch of toxic shippers. It’s not like I would have hated Elena and Damon having their time together, but I hate how the writers went about it by having Elena cheat on Stefan and Damon instigating it all. I could have sucked up Dullena if she had gotten with him after officially breaking up with Stefan for whatever reason, but in the end went back to Stefan for whatever reason. Like Damon could have died being a hero and human Elena and human Stefan could have had children living happily ever after. 😏
Paul's hope for Stelena is so adorable 💝💝💝and it was funny when Julie was talking about Damon and Elena, Paul was like "I'm not listening to this" 😂😂😂😂
Started to watch the show because I heard about Delena but now don't want to watch it any further after season 4... Because I want to see Stefan happy...
It’s interesting that none of the lead actors seemed to want Delena as the ultimate ship through most of the show. Ian liked playing the free wheeling baddie, Paul also loved bad Stefan lol but thought their relationship was the most pure and made the most sense, and as far as I know, Nina also saw the relationships more realistically, in terms of the toxicity and the message of her ever getting with Damon, especially long term. (I do think Stefan is not morally superior in the long run, but in terms of his treatment of Elena and where he was for years in the time he met her, he was a much better match. And in general he was.)
They should've Katherine was even in love with Stefan not Damon and they were doppelgangers destined to be together like the witch Tessa said in the show him marrying Caroline was a sick joke planned out from the very first episode ugh 😫
His reaction wasn't about the speech, them not getting back together. The producer has been said to be racist and treated the actress that played Bonnie Bennett like shit. Everyone hated the blond lady talking in this, but she was paying them.
The fact Elena admitted at the start she didn't like Paul but because Paul and Nina were becoming friends they cut Paul's screen time so that they didn't become more than friends.
One, if Julie was going to pair her with Damon I just wish they did it in a way where Stefan left, broke up with Elena and didn’t comeback for a few years where then Elena and Damon grew closer and got together. So basically no cheating. Two, I wish there was more of a back and forth kind of love triangle and not just Elena being jealous of Stefan’s choices with other girls when she was with Damon. I would have loved to see this passionate love triangle where she can’t somehow choose between them and they all kinda (after some fighting over it) settled as three vampires together happily ever after. Damon and Stefan combined made the perfect husband. Lastly, if we couldn’t have the second idea above then I would have loved to see her with Stefan, then Damon, but inevitably end up with Stefan for whatever reason the writers could come up with and live out their doppelgänger dreams they had. Shit, I sure know if that happened Nina might have stayed on passed season 6 (we all know the real reason she left was because of her break up with Ian) and the very last episode wouldn’t be devoid of any passion cause Nina and Ian were uncomfortable with each other. The last episode of them two was so SO dry and depressing. Stefan and Elena had a better reunion.
