Oh wow, pretty spacious landscape area. Personally like that newer HDBs are having more creative landscape designs, and the reason why I enjoy watching these HDB neighbourhoods tours (regardless of hosts, they're all great! :D)
HDB = housing development board (govt body in charge of building public housing like this. 80% of Singapore population lives in public housing) TOP = temporary occupation period, but is colloquially synonymous with the completion of building ie. can move in. MOP = minimum occupation period. After completion of the flat, there's is MOP of 5 years for most flats before it can be resold on the open market. During this time you're technically supposed to live in the flat and cannot rent the whole unit out (only single rooms).

This flat is the same size as my upcoming BTO, and I was so surprised at how much space it seemed to have! Can't believe it was only 40k renovation
$40K is really reasonable for a 4-room! 1000 sqft is also a good size for a 4-room flat. May are in the 80+ sqm (~936 sqft or less) range 😂
