Growing older beside this band has only made me appreciate the maturation of their sound more and more. If you fell off after Tree, Swallows, Houses/You And Me And The Mountain, revisit their catalogue every few years or so and it'll start to resonate better.

Ryndan Riley I wonder how old you’ll be when you realize that calling anyone “moronic” for stating their opinion isn’t very nice. An opinion, that in this case, is super accurate. It’s not even a negative to simply state that they are much more “focused in” now a days compared to the math rock insanity on their first albums. I like both personally.
They may not be super fast paced anymore like they were in their first ep, but they evolved, and even some of their more subdued tracks are pretty difficult to play musically. They play what they want to play, and that's very far from mainstream.
@@dunndorr5651 I still appreciate their talent but no one can argue they changed their style bc math rock isn’t going to get played on the radio or in big shows. In my opinion it was a financial decision more then let’s play what we want to. Just not into their new sound is all I’m saying

I've been dying to find the tabs for that album for years :/ still can't find them to this day. Too uneducated to tab it myself
their rhythmic patterns are still complex, just a bit simplified, and also simplified tonality. simplicity can be as nice as complexity.
I now, but the drums still be so complicate.

These guys used to be an amazing math Rick band now they sound very mainstream. Still very talented but no longer a fan
