yeah i think we need solo movies again after GXK3 they can't ware out the novelty of seeing these two on screen together. i think it will be a mistake if the only thing we do going forward is team ups. personally i think GxK should have just stayed a solo Kong film like it was originally planned. i love Godzilla but it just didn't really feel like he needed to be there in this one. felt more like a kong movie even more so than the last one
Nah. He'd be good for drama. I cried in 3 scenes during G-1, but now I can't even remember what those scenes were, despite seeing the film 3 times. But that doesn't mean he can make FUN movies. And Godzilla x Kong wasn't as silly as I thought it would be based on the trailer. Kong was the lead character, but he truly was a CHARACTER, with admirable qualities that were shown in sharp contrast to Skar King. There were several LOL moments during the film, too. IDK if the director of G-1 can do humor. In G-1, Godzilla was just a malevolent force, not a character, whereas in the Monsterverse, the Titans are characters, particularly the ones in GxK.
I really wanna see Space Godzilla on the big screen. Hopefully, this next movie isn't as messy with the lore, focuses on Godzilla and Kong equally, and gives the humans better dialogue or gives them something better to do.

That's too many Titans for one film! The reason this film was more successful than Godzilla: King of the Monsters is partly because the human characters were more fun, but also because Kong is a great character. They have a whole world to explore in the Hollow Earth. They have Jia, who can communicate with Kong & with Mothra (& with Godzilla through Mothra). I liked G:KotM & was excited to see the other Titans, but Mothra was SO beautiful, & way cooler, in GxK than in G:KotM. And she's in the Hollow Earth, as are the tribe which can also communicate telepathically w/ Jia, not to mention Shimo, Little Kong, & the Apes Kong now rules. So throwing these Mechas & Jet Jaguar in now just feels like it would be moving in the wrong direction for the Monsterverse. Of course, maybe they continue to make mechanical upgrades to Kong to fight these robotic villains, but that doesn't give us more Godzilla onscreen. They have all these Titans around the world. (I'm surprised they killed so many in one film, which I think was a mistake.) I think they need to pace things out to keep Godzilla movies fresh & distinct from the repetitive "evil aliens controlling monsters" trope of the Toho movies. They need to keep creating new fans & they don't need to bring every Toho monsters into the Monsterverse to do that. I'd rather see a good film with Godzilla in it than a bad film with Godzilla in it, because the good film will make money & bring in new fans, which is what will lead to MORE movies being made. The important thing is to have good STORIES so the fight scenes don't just turn into one long WWE movie with Titans & robots.
Or Biollante and Gigan as the villains in Monarch season 2, Spacegodzilla for Godzilla 3, and Destroyah as the big bad in the third Godzilla and Kong team up movie, with Mothra, Rodan and Jet Jaguar. Also get a second and third Kong movie and a Mothra movie before we get the third team up movie.
Do you know about the Monarch G Team series? It is an animated series kind of like the Godzilla 1998 animated show but MonsterVerse. In the concept art for the show, there's literally Biollante and Gigan. Edit: This show has not released yet but hopefully will someday.

As for the kaijus, I could see them make Jet Jaguar, Mecha MUTO, and Mechani Kong via Skar King's corpse to serve as humanity's defense force instead of Godzilla, Mothra, and Kong, but they gained conscious and become the villains. After that, I'm hoping to see Bagan make his live action movie appearance as the final villain. Finally, in the after credits, it's revealed that an alien scouter ship was the reason these mechas turned. This alien scouter's intention was retrieved Ghidorah's corpse after receiving its signal during the events of KoTM and suddenly finds another similar signal from the oceans where the oxygen destroyer was fired thus opens for kaijus like Gigan, Spacegodzilla, Destoroyah, and more other kaijus, originals or classics, in the next movies.
It hard to tell on the quality because David Callaham filmography is such a mixed bag, wrote grabage like Doom 2005 and WW84 but also wrote great stuff like Across The Spiderverse and the first two Expendables so who knows 🤷♂️
I hope we get to see both Godzilla and Kong equally in the next movie or have it be more of a Godzilla movie because he needs more time in the spotlight
I feel that the monsterverse is doing for Kong, what the Heisei movies did to Godzilla. It's great seeing Kong's progression throughout the movies so far and I hope he goes out with a bang like Goji did back in vs. Destroyah.

Nope. Too early. Destoroyah is such a huge threat that it would be too soon to introduce him. That would basically be like introducing Thanos as the main villain in the first Avengers movie.

Biollante could work really well and easily fit in the Monsterverse lore. You look at all the creatures on Skull Island and the majority of them are fauna infused with flora biology. Which is exactly what Biollante is.
Honesty, people who says “why bother focusing more on the monsters than the humans when they can’t even speak”, haven’t seen movies like Wall-E. Half of the first act had no dialogue at all, and it worked.
I hope the next movie is very Monster eccentric like this but the role for the humans is that they become antagonist and turn on the monsters for the casualties in this movie and Monarch's plan is to make Titans go extinct (sort of like Godzilla minus One).
I think they should go back to the theme of humans being the main villains launching a full scale invasion of the Hollow Earth and first act of the film is Godzilla going rogue against the humans. The villain of this movie should really be Mecha King Ghidorah. And boy will he be threatening - I also think we should add in a truly menacing human villain, like an Avatar-style evil general. Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Brendan Cowell would be the perfect actor for such a role.
The Godzilla who ate a star would be a good villain. Zo Zo hawala something like that is what they called him. He was the Godzilla that went crazy from the Hollow Earth energy. He may be down there trapped or he dipped to space and will come back. (Explains the crystals in hollow earth) also a way to bring another toho monster back.

6:10 ain't nothing too far for Godzilla. We seen him do a dance on planet X, drop kick against megalon, flew to catch hedorah, body slam Megagirus, the franchise can go from dark and serious to goofy and silly at the drop of a hat and I like it. It gives veriaty and keeps it going especially since we're 70 years in. Also you should watch the first 15 movies in the showa era. It'll be a fun series of reviews
if they have a good idea for a new original villain, let them do it. It's nice to see the old ones on the big screen again, but don't stand still. M.U.T.O., Skar king and Shimo perfectly complemented the kaiju world
I really wanna see Kiryu in the Monsterverse. They could use Dagon's skeleton instead of Godzilla's. I don't know how that would work cause we already had a Mechagodzilla, but it would be cool to see Kiryu.
I knew we were getting a third Mod and Kong team up movie. But before that, we have to get Monarch season 2 with Biollante and Gigan as the villains, including Mothra and Rodan appearing, Godzilla 3 with Spacegodzilla as the villains, a second Kong movie with Camazotz as the villain, a third Kong movie with MechaKong as the villain, a Mothra movie with Battra as the villain, Destroy All Monsters parts 1 and 2 and lastly in the third Godzilla and Kong team up movie, Destroyah as the GREAT BIG BAD. Along with Mothra, Rodan and Jet Jaguar appearing. And I do hope they won't kill Kong off. They can't. Anyone liked my theory? Can't wait and love the Monsterverse!!!
they need to tone down the whacky elements. KOTM was the last movie where the kaiju acted like monsters and animals. GvsK also but it started with that one.
Since the next film is supposed to be godzilla centered, I think the villain should be space godzilla. A powerful foe for both kong and godzilla. Then have solo outing godzilla where he and mothra fight destoroyah and he dies. Maybe with Doug as a teased "baby godzilla". Then we get a solo kong film, and have the events of that film kill kong, and tease an original villain for one final team up. But this time it's Doug amd suko, taking place of godzilla and kong. You could also fit her jaguar in kongs solo film, since he seems to be more on the kong side of things. And then, if g-team ever gets made, all the creatures we've been wanting, like gigan, biolante, or some of the original titans like methusela, could appear there as lower level threats. Just an idea
Instead of an armored suit,give kong a shield. He's got the glove and the axe. A shield would be pretty cool. Not taking it too goofy and would still fit the tone. At least that's how I see it
Well...Since the humans already created tech like Kong's BEAST glove, that means they should have Jet Jaguar soon. They didn't wanna piss off Godzilla, so unfortunately Kiryu Mechagodzilla ain't happening, but because of Monarch's great tech, Jet Jaguar should be possible now.
It’s fun movie and I enjoyed it, but personally I enjoy a little more serious tone. 2014 vibes with this monster screen time woulda been great. Also music over roars was too loud.

I honestly don't know if I'm the only one who would want this, but it would be cool to have space. Godzilla be the next big, bad, like the number one big bad of the next monster verse movie. I don't mind some like side villains. Or titans being like side villains, fighting Godzilla and Kong as well. But I would say that space Godzilla would be the one Titan. I would want to be the biggest Big bad of the next movie. And since he would be space, maybe haven't be intelligent as well, so he's able to strategize while still being absolutely terrifying. And menacing. Because honestly, as far as a physical fist, fight goes and as far as raw power goes. Godzilla is the strongest. We aren't really going to see any other titans. Put up a fight or at least put up enough of a fight to actually beat Godzilla. Because we all know that any of the titans that we've seen go up against him, they all just lose in the end. So it would be nice to finally see someone like space. Godzilla, who is also Godzilla, actually pretty much get close to taking out Godzilla. And then maybe Godzilla and Kong and a couple. Other Titans team up together to take out space Godzilla. And in the very end, Godzilla gets another power up. Or something and gets the final blow? That has a power level higher than space. Godzilla himself or something like that. Kind of like another super saiyan transformation or power up. Because if you're wanting to go in the direction of the movie of fun with a lot of combat and action and maybe some comedy in there, that would be a cool way to go about it, at least I think it would. But if you're wanting to go great story. I don't know, in my opinion as far as one of the best Godzilla stories to ever exist. Godzilla −1 was literally one of the best and I think that bringing in the writer from Godzilla −1 would be cool to have on set as well.

I loved Godzilla x Kong! It's my favorite movie in the Monsterverse. Yes, it was less about Godzilla & more about Kong, but Kong was a GREAT CHARACTER in this! The human characters were likable, there were several moments that had me LOL, a third Monsterverse character looked amazing, I was intrigued by Jia & Kong's parallel stories of being the last of their kind/tribe & the ending was gratifying, & it was a brilliant idea to show Godzilla curled up inside the Roman Colosseum! It had the right balance between monsters & humans, & the way they were able to tell the story of the relationships between Titan characters without any dialogue, solely using facial expressions & body language, was impressive. Why don't they keep the same writer for the next film?! Why change when this has apparently been the most successful Monsterverse film so far? I'm just afraid of being disappointed.

hopefully not the only villain i don't mind Hedorah being in it but i don't think she can carry as the only villain i wouldn't mind her as a secondary villain. if we have a Gigan, Spacegodzilla or Destroyah as the main villain. i never really saw Hedorah as being that powerful in the pantheon of godzilla foes. that would feel like making Ebirah or Megalon the main villain they just don't carry the weight of other villains. if this series doesn't have a long future we gotta get all the big ones in there first

I’m hoping biollante comes into the monster verse….shes grounded enough to feel like a natural villain but plot wise cartoon enough to fit the universe. You don’t have to go the route of the original about having half human dna and Godzilla but more of a mutated hollow earth plant like creature, created by the presence of Godzilla being in hollow earth with his evolved radiation…idk just my thoughts…I’m also kinda over Adam as the directed, don’t get me wrong I like the new empire but I think Kotm found a way to feel grounded while also feeling like a sci-fi movie and Adam’s vision sometimes is just all over the place idk how to explain but yeah
With ghidora one of his heads got eaten, not sure about the other one, but the left head got decapitated and im pretty sure the mecha godzilla was actually just the two left heads so theres atleast 1 more head that they could use to make mecha king ghidora

Kong just had an upgrade in the last movie, I don't think we need more. If the hope it to be a little less cheesy and cartoonish they should avoid that imo
They also need new music producer tbh,i mean the music in gvk and gxk isn't bad, but it did felt generic in my opinion. One thing kotm did right was the music,pacing and they had better actors in my opinion. It hard to tell on the quality because David Callaham filmography is such a mixed bag, wrote grabage like Doom 2005 and WW84 but also wrote great stuff like Across The Spiderverse and the first two Expendables so who knows 🤷♂️

I feel that the monsterverse is doing for Kong, what the Heisei movies did to Godzilla. It's great seeing Kong's progression throughout the movies so far and I hope he goes out with a bang like Goji did back in vs. Destroyah.

Nope. Too early. Destoroyah is such a huge threat that it would be too soon to introduce him. That would basically be like introducing Thanos as the main villain in the first Avengers movie.
I need this villain to be a Godzilla one personally. He needs more of a spotlight in these movies, especially with his name being the FIRST one in the movie, yet he's always sidelined imo
Spacegodzilla or biollante would be perfect for the next film or 2 and the final film should bring in destoroyah
Biollante could work really well and easily fit in the Monsterverse lore. You look at all the creatures on Skull Island and the majority of them are fauna infused with flora biology. Which is exactly what Biollante is.
Honesty, people who says “why bother focusing more on the monsters than the humans when they can’t even speak”, haven’t seen movies like Wall-E. Half of the first act had no dialogue at all, and it worked.
The only ones they left room for return is Destroyah when the used the oxygen destroyer in KOM and Space Godzilla in Godzilla X Kong.

I hope the next movie is very Monster eccentric like this but the role for the humans is that they become antagonist and turn on the monsters for the casualties in this movie and Monarch's plan is to make Titans go extinct (sort of like Godzilla minus One).

I think they should go back to the theme of humans being the main villains launching a full scale invasion of the Hollow Earth and first act of the film is Godzilla going rogue against the humans. The villain of this movie should really be Mecha King Ghidorah. And boy will he be threatening - I also think we should add in a truly menacing human villain, like an Avatar-style evil general. Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Brendan Cowell would be the perfect actor for such a role.

The Godzilla who ate a star would be a good villain. Zo Zo hawala something like that is what they called him. He was the Godzilla that went crazy from the Hollow Earth energy. He may be down there trapped or he dipped to space and will come back. (Explains the crystals in hollow earth) also a way to bring another toho monster back.

6:10 ain't nothing too far for Godzilla. We seen him do a dance on planet X, drop kick against megalon, flew to catch hedorah, body slam Megagirus, the franchise can go from dark and serious to goofy and silly at the drop of a hat and I like it. It gives veriaty and keeps it going especially since we're 70 years in. Also you should watch the first 15 movies in the showa era. It'll be a fun series of reviews
To my honest opinion. I can definitely tell that Mechani Kong would be in the next monsterverse film.
if they have a good idea for a new original villain, let them do it. It's nice to see the old ones on the big screen again, but don't stand still. M.U.T.O., Skar king and Shimo perfectly complemented the kaiju world

I really wanna see Kiryu in the Monsterverse. They could use Dagon's skeleton instead of Godzilla's. I don't know how that would work cause we already had a Mechagodzilla, but it would be cool to see Kiryu.
I knew we were getting a third Mod and Kong team up movie. But before that, we have to get Monarch season 2 with Biollante and Gigan as the villains, including Mothra and Rodan appearing, Godzilla 3 with Spacegodzilla as the villains, a second Kong movie with Camazotz as the villain, a third Kong movie with MechaKong as the villain, a Mothra movie with Battra as the villain, Destroy All Monsters parts 1 and 2 and lastly in the third Godzilla and Kong team up movie, Destroyah as the GREAT BIG BAD. Along with Mothra, Rodan and Jet Jaguar appearing. And I do hope they won't kill Kong off. They can't. Anyone liked my theory?

they need to tone down the whacky elements. KOTM was the last movie where the kaiju acted like monsters and animals. GvsK also but it started with that one.
Since the next film is supposed to be godzilla centered, I think the villain should be space godzilla. A powerful foe for both kong and godzilla. Then have solo outing godzilla where he and mothra fight destoroyah and he dies. Maybe with Doug as a teased "baby godzilla". Then we get a solo kong film, and have the events of that film kill kong, and tease an original villain for one final team up. But this time it's Doug amd suko, taking place of godzilla and kong. You could also fit her jaguar in kongs solo film, since he seems to be more on the kong side of things. And then, if g-team ever gets made, all the creatures we've been wanting, like gigan, biolante, or some of the original titans like methusela, could appear there as lower level threats.

Instead of an armored suit,give kong a shield. He's got the glove and the axe. A shield would be pretty cool. Not taking it too goofy and would still fit the tone. At least that's how I see it

They didn't wanna piss off Godzilla, so unfortunately Kiryu Mechagodzilla ain't happening, but because of Monarch's great tech, Jet Jaguar should be possible now.
It’s fun movie and I enjoyed it, but personally I enjoy a little more serious tone. 2014 vibes with this monster screen time woulda been great. Also music over roars was too loud.

I honestly don't know if I'm the only one who would want this, but it would be cool to have space. Godzilla be the next big, bad, like the number one big bad of the next monster verse movie. I don't mind some like side villains. Or titans being like side villains, fighting Godzilla and Kong as well. But I would say that space Godzilla would be the one Titan. I would want to be the biggest Big bad of the next movie. And since he would be space, maybe haven't be intelligent as well, so he's able to strategize while still being absolutely terrifying. And menacing. Because honestly, as far as a physical fist, fight goes and as far as raw power goes. Godzilla is the strongest. We aren't really going to see any other titans. Put up a fight or at least put up enough of a fight to actually beat Godzilla. Because we all know that any of the titans that we've seen go up against him, they all just lose in the end. So it would be nice to finally see someone like space. Godzilla, who is also Godzilla, actually pretty much get close to taking out Godzilla. And then maybe Godzilla and Kong and a couple. Other Titans team up together to take out space Godzilla. And in the very end, Godzilla gets another power up. Or something and gets the final blow? That has a power level higher than space. Godzilla himself or something like that. Kind of like another super saiyan transformation or power up. Because if you're wanting to go in the direction of the movie of fun with a lot of combat and action and maybe some comedy in there, that would be a cool way to go about it, at least I think it would. But if you're wanting to go great story. I don't know, in my opinion as far as one of the best Godzilla stories to ever exist. Godzilla −1 was literally one of the best and I think that bringing in the writer from Godzilla −1 would be cool to have on set as well.
Ik that adam said godzilla will be the main guy in next installment but what if in the first act of the movie, it is mecha kong vs jet jaguar and then they realise the actual threat in form of mecha ghidorah or gigan or biolante and then godzilla steps in again because realistically as much as i want godzilla to get more screen time, he can't, considering he is not to well with humans and ofc you have to do sonething epic with godzilla it's just can't be him swimming around .

I loved Godzilla x Kong! It's my favorite movie in the Monsterverse. Yes, it was less about Godzilla & more about Kong, but Kong was a GREAT CHARACTER in this! The human characters were likable, there were several moments that had me LOL, a third Monsterverse character looked amazing, I was intrigued by Jia & Kong's parallel stories of being the last of their kind/tribe & the ending was gratifying, & it was a brilliant idea to show Godzilla curled up inside the Roman Colosseum! It had the right balance between monsters & humans, & the way they were able to tell the story of the relationships between Titan characters without any dialogue, solely using facial expressions & body language, was impressive. Why don't they keep the same writer for the next film?! Why change when this has apparently been the most successful Monsterverse film so far? I'm just afraid of being disappointed.
I mean if you want to bring back ghidora the best way to introduce him would be monster x so he can turn into kaiser ghidora.

hopefully not the only villain i don't mind Hedorah being in it but i don't think she can carry as the only villain i wouldn't mind her as a secondary villain. if we have a Gigan, Spacegodzilla or Destroyah as the main villain. i never really saw Hedorah as being that powerful in the pantheon of godzilla foes. that would feel like making Ebirah or Megalon the main villain they just don't carry the weight of other villains. if this series doesn't have a long future we gotta get all the big ones in there first

She was one of the Showa era strongest foes and melted Godzilla's hand while also blinding one of his eyes. However on the other hand Destoroyah & Hedorah as a duo of bio weapons eventually merging together as one big beast for Godzilla & Kong to fight sounds awesome

I’m hoping biollante comes into the monster verse….shes grounded enough to feel like a natural villain but plot wise cartoon enough to fit the universe. You don’t have to go the route of the original about having half human dna and Godzilla but more of a mutated hollow earth plant like creature, created by the presence of Godzilla being in hollow earth with his evolved radiation…idk just my thoughts…I’m also kinda over Adam as the directed, don’t get me wrong I like the new empire but I think Kotm found a way to feel grounded while also feeling like a sci-fi movie and Adam’s vision sometimes is just all over the place idk how to explain but yeah
With ghidora one of his heads got eaten, not sure about the other one, but the left head got decapitated and im pretty sure the mecha godzilla was actually just the two left heads so theres atleast 1 more head that they could use to make mecha king ghidora

He doesn't want to do Godzilla anymore since he wants to do other films, which is what he says. I mean, Chris Hemsworth is known for Thor, and that is that which sucks because he's not going to be famous like Tom Cruise style, my friend. You want to be versatile in the film industry, which explains why Adam dropped out since he's done two Godzilla movies. He doesn't want to be known for Godzilla alone. He wants to be known for other movies, my friend. It's just business. The resumé matters more.
Kong just had an upgrade in the last movie, I don't think we need more. If the hope it to be a little less cheesy and cartoonish they should avoid that imo
They also need new music producer tbh,i mean the music in gvk and gxk isn't bad, but it did felt generic in my opinion. One thing kotm did right was the music,pacing and they had better actors in my opinion. I know people hated it because there's less monster screentime and weak human stories but it isn't horrible as people make it to be
