Almost cried when I heard this news; 2017’s IT and Bill’s Pennywise is what got me into drawing horror art, and really what got me into horror movies more. Words cannot EXPRESS how perfect Bill is for this role, and how impatient I am for this series to come out 😂
Honestly Tim Curry’s Pennywise was a lot better, Bill Skarsgard was alright but not close. IT chapter 1 was good, chapter 2 was decent. But IT (1990) is by far the best IT adaptation with Tim Curry as Pennywise. But this is a prequel series I hope they don’t show too much about the Pennywise character, keep some mystery to the character.
I couldn't disagree more. I watched the original 2 parter as a kid and I loved. I even thought it still held weight to the new ones, so I bought it on DVD. The updates in special effects, makeup and story really make the old one hard to watch. But we aren't all supposed to agree.
I think the best route to go would be to have pennywise be a “normal man” in the town like in the picture. Who’s really a serial killer who devours children. Then have him come up with the concept of being a clown then have him going between the two back and forth. Like during the day he’s this odd looking spooky man and at night or in alleys or whatever he becomes the clown.
Fun fact: Both Bill Skarsgård and I have a thing called Strabismus or ‘a lazy eye’ which is what makes the eye move to the side. I can do it in both eyes, while Bill Skarsgård can only do it in his left eye.
I really do hope it’s about all the cycles of violence in the book before the losers. From the settlers to the iron works explosion and the burning of the black spot
I was worried they would pull something where Bill is teased in the last few minutes of the final episode so maybe a minute of screen time but maybe the strikes changed people's minds and they decided to put him in it more. Bill seems down to clown so if he's willing put him in it as much as you can.
The “recasting” literally cannot happen, as it literally breaks canon. Then in part 2, the photo on the wall at Beverly’s place shows the real man that Pennywise took the impression of. That is implied on the fact that he has a presumed daughter in the photo with him. Maybe using her as a disguise after he killed her father. With the show taking place in the 60’s he would already have his clown form. He would be the titular clown. As the stories of Derry date back long ago. With signs of Pennywise (as a clown) being somewhat known, but never fully realized in the town. If they went back to the 1800s I can see him appearing more human or being another creature in appearance.
I think it's a mistake only focusing on the 60s. there is so much rich history they can do. they could do little stories of each cycle of when he woke up. which is back in the 1700s but I would start back in the early 1900s and work my way from there.
4:03 let me fill you in on the lore chris. So basically, this dude called gan created the multiverse and the dark tower to protect it, gans essence became whats known as the macroverse, where he creates 12 guardians of the beams of the tower, one of then being maturin the turtle, and evil counterparts to them, Pennywise (or the deadlights) being the evil counterpart to maturin, maturin then vomits out prime earth where all of stephen kings stories take place on into existence, Pennywise goes to this earth which is carried on the back of maturin and feasts on the kids of derry to keep himself alive, I always hate when people say its weird, like yes, it is weird, and thats why its amazing
so stephen king is a producer thats nice i remember bill said he wasnt doing it because stephen king wasnt involved so i guess they got stehpen king and bill came right along. they should of let bill play pennywise in castle rock season 1 instead of playing the boy.
It is ironic that you said Stephen King the crack needs to stop because King actually used drugs when writing some of his novels and it was so bad that King said he doesn't remember writing cujo
Next thing you know there’s gonna be a multiverse and SPOILER ALERT Eddies death was in an alternate timeline btw I’m just making jokes how everything seems to be a multiverse movie
I’m probably skipping on this. I like the IT remake less and less as time goes on. It’s good, but they’re like 2 of the most overrated horror movies of the 2010s.
Im sorry but why the cast look so "inclusive"? Im really tired of that, in the first IT its 1950's and we know how the people act back in those days , even in the movie theres a few black characters in general and are the kids who accept Michael hanlon, so are you telling me this story is base of some relative to him? If not is a huge fail in the story and context, Because if this is way back than the first movie , In the early 1950s, the USA was a divided country. So having in a town too many black characters in my opinion is not accurate with "the years" this take place like cmon people even for a story like IT its important 🙄🤦♂️ and yes it does matter, its like adding some random asian guy in the story like what? 😐
My boy Bill Skårsgard coming back is all I needed to hear
it wouldn't be the same if they recasted pennywise. I'm so happy that Bill Skårsgard is returning .
Same!
Well no need to watch the video now..
Well we already know IT wins
0:02 no wonder bro was slurring his words 😅
Can't really blame him cuz GODDAMNNNNN
Hahaha fellow men of culture I see 😂😂
You guys need women in your lives because my lord the high cool remarks are so telling
@@Christian_Ada1 uh huh as a fellow Cristian I do not approve this message. Men will be men mate.
They shot this in my town it was so cool to see Derry come to life again
When I saw Salma Hayek, it made me want a bag of cake.

@@troybyrne2916 it chapter two came out in September 2019
I'm So Excited Bill SkarsGård Is Back Reprising His Role PennyWise On IT Prequel TV Series !
Almost cried when I heard this news; 2017’s IT and Bill’s Pennywise is what got me into drawing horror art, and really what got me into horror movies more. Words cannot EXPRESS how perfect Bill is for this role, and how impatient I am for this series to come out 😂
Glad Bill Skarsgard is returning!
No
Tim Curry was an awesome Pennywise, but Bill Skarsgard's was next level.
Honestly Tim Curry’s Pennywise was a lot better, Bill Skarsgard was alright but not close. IT chapter 1 was good, chapter 2 was decent. man bill has finaly return to play pennywide from it chapter 1 & 2 like wow am very happy to see him and now he is finaly back to play as pennywise
Lord knows Skarsgard's gonna need it if The Crow remake is bad
You mentioned how Bill does the eye trick.
But I'm here to tell you, Chris. Bill was born with a lazy eye.
I think the best route to go would be to have pennywise be a “normal man” in the town like in the picture. Who’s really a serial killer who devours children. Game changer! I wasn't expecting him to do it and I was still looking forward to check out the show. Now I'm officially hyped
Funny thing is Stephen King did take a bunch of crack when writing his books
Fun fact: Both Bill Skarsgård and I have a thing called Strabismus or ‘a lazy eye’ which is what makes the eye move to the side. I can do it in both eyes, while Bill Skarsgård can only do it in his left eye.
one of the greatest castings of all time! Happy to see he is returning in the role.
My reaction to this news was that one scene in smiling friends in the Mr frog episode where they cheer.
This dude is so sweet and happy it’s contagious
If I remember correctly when reading the book…he takes the forms of some giant ass bird with balloons on the wings. Would be cool to see that.
Big bag of 🎂??? 😂😂😂 madd luv cuzz alwayz
Jeepers Creepers would definitely be on my avengers list. Every 23 years of course
YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Love your video and let's go
This made my Friday morning
YESS I HAVE BEEN WAITINGGGG
You had me at bag of cake 🎂🎂
OMG WHAT ARE THE CHANCES!! I was just talking to my brother and his friend about a third one today!!
Awesome
I’m glad he’s back it wouldn’t make sense if he wasn’t in the show .
I lowkey wanna audition for this😭❗️
I really do hope it’s about all the cycles of violence in the book before the losers. From the settlers to the iron works explosion and the burning of the black spot

The man that Pennywise shaped shifted into was named Bob Grey and his daughter was Kersh Grey.
So hype
Pennywise for Multiversus anyone?
It could happen since it's owned by Warner Brothers
YESSSSSSS FINALLY
My Horror Avengers:
1. Pennywise
2. The Creeper ( Jeepers Creepers)
3. Leprechaun
4. Predator
5. Xenamorph
I kinda hope it's from the perspective of Pennywise
Maybe not the whole show but a scene with the perspective of him would be cool because they did it in the book
I think it's a mistake only focusing on the 60s. there is so much rich history they can do. they could do little stories of each cycle of when he woke up. which is back in the 1700s but I would start back in the early 1900s and work my way from there.
This will most likely be 1962 which was when the black spot event happened
Bag of cake 😂😂

YAYYYYYYYYY😊
I'm glad Bill is returning
He's most likely going to be a human in the show
“Stranger things vibes”😂 nobody watched the goonies?
Look forward and then try to focus on something to your right /left with looking at it.
shoulda made it about when pennywise arrived on earth and fought those indians or sum
Yeeeeesssssss
My horror team would be:
Pennywise
The Thing
Candyman
Carrie White
Jeepers Creepers
If the plot was about pennywise being the main protangist hunting down kids I wouldve threw myself out a window
Pennywise
The Mass from the movie Phantoms
Victor Crowley from Hatchet
Top Three

I didn't think bill would ever come back.
U can cross your eyes if you stick your tongue out its a trick try it next time Chris!
Where can I get a bag of cake?
It would’ve felt half ass if there was no penny wise, he’s the main appeal lol
I’m eating a bag of cake right now 😅
It is ironic that you said Stephen King the crack needs to stop because King actually used drugs when writing some of his novels and it was so bad that King said he doesn't remember writing cujo

Political messaging has been in films and IPs.

Next thing you know there’s gonna be a multiverse and SPOILER ALERT
Eddies death was in an alternate timeline btw I’m just making jokes how everything seems to be a multiverse movie
I hope they show kids being killed by Pennywise. They didn’t show that much in the movies and that’s the only thing that disappointed me
not first :(
You do coke bro
I’m probably skipping on this. I like the IT remake less and less as time goes on. It’s good, but they’re like 2 of the most overrated horror movies of the 2010s.
…Tim curry was better .
Am I the only one who doesn’t care
