he’s been getting too much screen time lately and it seems like his conflict with hughie is all but finished, he’s getting it before the end of the season

the fact that the last episode of the season is called "Assassination run" is pretty scary

i hope he dies protecting hughie if he dies protecting anyone. his death wou8ld mean so much in terms of the show and his character if its for hughie. i think hell die after being discovered to have taken the compound v though.

Honestly with Sage I'm the 7 now, I don't know how A-train WONT get caught if he keeps helping hughie and The Boys. From a narrative standpoint, you don't just introduce a character as the "smartest person in the world" and have them hanging around just to miss every little detail that a lesser detective would have picked up on. I'm pretty sure that If A-train is caught, sister sage will have something to do with it

i was thinking this as well. BUT, i also don't think Sage is on Homelander's side. I think she has her own motivations and will be the season's primary antagonist in the end. I wouldn't be shocked if she is the one killed by Homelander instead of A-train.

Hard to say what her plans are. She definitely has something in mind but it’s for her own benefits. She easily manipulated Homelander along with the rest of the 7. So if what A-Train is doing works for her, then she might let him slide.

To be fair Hughie just got lucky, Homelander couldn't hear him through the vents because of the loud singing and then screaming, I believe A-train will be capable of dodging Homelander's lasers, although it's pretty unlikely

What A-train did to Huey’s misses and starlights friend was fxxxxd but I somehow find myself rooting for A-train the guy paid his dues to Huey and the rest of the team so you can see he’s really conflicted, only thing I’m thinking is how brutally A-train will die at the hands of Homelander 😮

I imagine it’ll happen during a fight between the boys and the seven where Homelander has the upper hand on the Boys and he shoots his lasers for a killing blow then A Train dashes at the last second in to push one of the boys out of the beam all “Red Rush” style. I think it’d be best if it was Hughie, it’d be ironic in a way
Really hope there's a Homelander V A-Train battle on the cards somewhere
I really don't want to see A-Train die since I like the character and love seeing his super speed in action, but I think this is what is going to happen. He is also too OP as far as being able to get items that The Boys need and rescue them from danger by quickly getting them away from the scene. If A-Train fully went to their side, it would take a lot of the underdog feel that the team has had throughout the show. I also think it will be Sage that finds out about his betrayal (if she doesn't know already).
As a character, I don’t want him to die, but him as having an ark in his story I think it would be fitting for him to die at some point when he fully understands genuine sympathy and humility.
Could be nice for him to move somewhere like QM did but I don’t think it’s gonna happen twice.

He’ll die one of two ways.
1. He joins The Boys, but is quickly killed via a bomb in his chest (there’s a popular theory that a bomb was put in his chest).
2. The comic scene of Maeve saving Starlight will go to A-Train. He’ll die saving Hughie’s new girlfriend, whereas he killed his old one.
Both would be poetic.
The first is more in line with the show and pessimistic nature of it. It would show that even though he wanted to become a genuine hero, his fate is still appropriate, since he still murdered a lot people and was complicit in far more atrocious crimes. He doesn’t get his full redemption.
The second is one of full redemption.
I also feel Hughie would call A-Train’s family and tell him he was a hero in the end. The Boys might even take them into custody and put them in witness protection, since you can bet Homelander would want to brutally torture them to death.

I wouldn't be surprised if Homelander calls out A-Train in front of everyone and then instructs the team to kill him. Like the "Deep blow A-Train" scene and "beat these men to death with bats" scene.
I really hope not. A-Train is one of my most favored characters. I really hope that he helps take down Homelander. This 'Cliche Redemption arc' where the bad guy dies doing the right thing...Sounds right out of a Comic book. ...(oh, wait)

He pushed his speed to it's utmost limits and do what Quicksilver did, savingas much people from Homelander is in character for him to do at this point, he'll eventually die due to exhaustion we knew that his runs take alot of calories, that way he'd die saving innocents.

I’m hoping that when/if this fight takes place, A-Train leaves it all on the table. He can absolutely put up a decent fight against Homelander so long as he can stay moving. I’m not sure if single handed shots will work, so he needs to be bladed up. We’ve already seen that Homelanders ears are vulnerable, which means his eyes, etc. are as well. I don’t think A-Train makes it out alive, but I do think he can cause some serious damage if he’s prepared.
I feel like the Deep will get the a train treatment like in the comics, the A-Train (comic) and the Deep (show) are so similar

If/when Homelander kills A-train, it should definitely but in front of Hughie. It would be interesting to see his reaction to A-trains death. Would he feel like Robin’s death is avenged? Would he feel remorse for the guy that recently turned a new leave? Can’t wait honestly

Out of all the Characters in the Series, A-Train has a Complex Journey on the Light and Dark Side in the Morality Spectrum so for all the Things he has done that has come to regret, I believe A-Train will be Redeemed and will Die in the Final Episode of Season 4 as it’s clear Homelander and Sage knows about the Speedster’s Betrayal and are Playing the Long Game and the last episode is called Assassination Run.

All of the redeemed or even fully good supes in this show that aren’t named Starlight have been written off in some way eventually. First Blindspot being at best irreparably crippled, at worst killed (though if I’m being honest it would probably be more accurate to say he’s more on the neutral side of the alignment chart because we never saw him do anything really good or bad), then Supersonic being killed, then Maeve being depowered. A-Train’s likely going next whether that means he’s dying or just leaving Vought.
Then there's also Lamplighter and Mesmer.

I think if I were a Supe I wouldn't be any better a person than A-Train. That's why he's my favorite character in this show. He seems like a jerk, but he lives on another plane of existence that we mere mortals can't really understand.

I remember hearing a piece of straw can be pushed through a telephone pole due to wing speeds. I’m. Not sure if it’s an urban legend or not but I’m wondering A Train can pull a train on a damaged leg so he got some strength what if he were it hit HomeLander at speed? Knowing his life is on the line he might go faster than he’s ever had previously and estimating an individuals sups strength is near impossible but his strength striking at speed must be impressive right?

I hate the pull the race card but I definitely think that ups the chances of his death. It’s just a pattern I’ve noticed in multiple shows. It’s probably never intentional but it’s weird that it happens so much.

After killing Black Noir, it would be too much killing another 7 member for Homelander so I think if A train does go out it’ll be by another characters hand.
Everyone expects him to be killed by homelander or another supe, so I doubt it will happen. Everything is so unexpected in this series

He won't die in the finale it will be episode 6 or 7, which sucks because his character grew on me in season 3, but yea normally when a character gets a redemption arc they end up dying shortly after, and his arc seems more or less resolves.

Is homelander fast enough to even catch him but in reality he’s just kill his family
I honestly thought, in every scene he was in this week it was going to happen. I think though, they’ve wrote themselves into a narrative corner. Firecracker and Sage and new Noir (who I think will be killed and/or replaced by Homelander clone, via Stan Edgar) all seem like they’re not long for the show. Sage is too much ego, new Noir replaced Homelander’s only true “friend”, and seems to be annoying everyone, and Firecracker is just too much to have a multi episode run. Also, the trailers barely featured any Sage or Firecracker besides what we’ve already seen. They’ve almost got to kill someone off. A-train seems most likely as he’s close to amends with his brother and irredeemable morally otherwise. There’s way too much going on in the show and we’ve yet to get the 2 from Gen V. I love the show, but I feel like, especially after Homelander giving up on giving a f. That he’d just go off the deep end and just kill whoever he pleases. I’m curious how they are going to handle all the moving pieces. I just think the acceleration was too much to start the season and now there’s multiple pressure cookers ready to explode.
