Another thing...to just blow your mind. He worked in WATERCOLOR.
Blows my mind that a lot of his paintings are watercolour. Found his work in uni and it has always been so inspiring. He’s really well known in the warhammer community as he did a lot of the old illustration for it
Certified GOAT status - he's is probably better known in the TCG/RPG realm for his work on Mutant Chronicles and MtG. Still underrated af.
yeah man. Paul Bonnar is one of the greats. I actually have his "ART OF..." and its pretty special.
His work is just amazing 😮
I followed P.Bonner on facebook years ago. Loved his art style. Hard to believe he isnt more popular. Justin Sweet is another cool artist nd if you dont know his work would be wesome to look. Thanks for these videos Rich you are awesome I learned about so many artists.
P.Bonner's art is really famous here in the philippines for some reason tho , probably because of our golden age comic book artist's style
Never seen his stuff before holy shieeet. Absolutely mindblowing!
I really like when we look at the art in greyscale, I am working on values right now and it definitely helps me. Thanks Rich!
I REALLY really enjoyed this video!!! I did not know this artist before!!!
Out of the Forests is amazing. Jean-Baptiste Monge and Oscar Martin are others worth reviewing (and Travis's Space Girl:)
Love his work
I found Paul Bonner through my old Spectrum books. I agree with you that Jim Murray was influenced by Bonner's painting style for sure!
I know his art from early Warhammer 40k and Fantasy. I started at the Rogue Trader era and spent a lot of time peaking at his drawings when I was young. Though back then I looked at the stuff without thinking much about the artist behind it..
happy easter rich!!!!! i have his book a good friend of mine gave it to me.
Looks like his art book is back in stock, just purchased a copy!
My fav artists are Paul Bonner and Alex Ross
What’s up Dude!!! This looks amazing I was going too get his book but the price was too much but truly amazing work
Super fun AF!
