Good vid there Proft, Few bumsteers too ay.Cool too see your hunts over in the other system, hard to beat the adventure within seeking sambar deer in unfamiliar ground, it becomes what you know , not where you know.. good hunting.HD
just started watching your videos as i am in the ACT region looking to deer hunt soon, just want to say your videos are really informative and its awesome how ethically you hunt, keep it up man!
Another great video bro congrats on the result and the hard work paying off. I think I'd have to say the vic high country as harsh as it can be is my favourite, so beautiful especially when covered in snow
Great video mate, lovely country up in the alpine areas. finally got some meat in the freezer last week which has been great but can't wait to get some more.
Yep then you hit them in the neck as they peer around the corner of a tree, instant death well that’s how the natives do it. Bring them in then and take them out good bush tucker...
Good times mate indeed wish I could hunt with you but unfortunately I hunt with a bow but awesome video mate would like to meet you one day and have a cold one
Good video man. Where are you planning to hunt over here in the lucky country? We have plenty of red and fallow deer but I really really wish we had some more Sambar herds in NZ.
Congrats on another beaut vid mate, always enjoy them. When are you coming to nz? And what are you chasing, back to sort some unfinished business I hope!
Mate you've read my mind! I fly over monday to hunt tahr up the Dobson Valley, chasing a few trout on fly too. Yes I have very unfinished business over there
I'm so new to this and would love to know how preserve the deer meat in the wild once you've shot it? Especially when you're camping for the night and away from a fridge for at least 12-16 hours. Cheers!
They're in the Vic alpine country. Overnight it would be like being in a fridge. In fact he even shows the water in his pot froze overnight on the first morning. As long as you bagged it and kept the bugs off the meat would be fine. Then into a cooler for the journey home.
Great job boys. Hard to not enjoy a location like that
