Halley Neal is a folk singer and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Halley has been blazing the folk trail over the last 2 years, performing in showcases and at festivals such as: Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk competition, Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Telluride Troubadour competition, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest’s Songwriter Showcase, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase, and most recently, being named the winner of SolarFest’s Singer-Songwriter Showcase. Halley released her debut self-titled album in June 2021, and her sophomore record “Beautiful and Blue” to critical acclaim on September 30th, 2022.
NERFA focuses on serving, strengthening, and engaging the Northeast regional folk music community. Our mission is to provide professional development and advocacy for artists, venues, and music professionals within the umbrella genres of folk, roots, and Americana to ensure the vitality of the community and the sustainable pursuit of a life in the arts.
