Just got one and couldn’t love it more. Absolutely worth every penny. Love the app as well. Beautiful, intuitive interface. No issues whatsoever with mug or the app. A true game changer for someone who has a cup of coffee or tea beside them all day every day. Great video.
No and no. But don’t let that put you off. Unless you change your temperature between mugs I just have it on 58.5 and leave it for each cup I have. As for battery. I use mine 4-5x a day and have every day for 8 months and it’s still going strong. HTH
I noticed you used a metal spoon. I advise using a plastic or wooden one, the metal will damage the ceramic coating of the mug, and the bottom might start chipping away.
Love the mug except I can’t get past the milk film that forms on top of my coffee since I use milk and sugar. Lowest temp also doesn’t help prevent this unfortunately.
I also have a Smart Mug 2 and am not happy with it. The mug is constantly intermittent and then it stops heating. My coffee keeps getting cold anyway. The support team only responds with standard emails and doesn't address my problems at all. Simply a brutally overpriced product that only works moderately.
That's a shame. I hope I don't get any issue like that with mine, I use it 4 times a day every day for over 3 months and it's been flawless. Maybe if you still want one, look on amazon as they do cheaper versions, albeit with their own set of problems.,

will this fit a large tim hortons coffee?
So is there no other way to control the cup besides through the app And can you replace the battery once the battery will no longer hold a charge?

Where did you get that type g socket. I would like to replace mine too
I retired the white mug, one too many stains. But still have a black mug and travel. Love them.
I’m considering the travel mug, but it’s less capacity than this one!

Mine is coming within a week from now
Edit: nvm it’s coming tomorrow 😂
I’ll never use an open mug near my computers and keyboards. Get a real double walled thermos …
Ok
Whatever you do, don't buy this mug. The charger/coaster would stop functioning after a few months and getting help from Ember is impossible.
Shame that, Mines till works a treat and I’ve been having 4 cups every day for 8 months 🤷♂️ I love it
You are American, should used imperial not them Europen system
