  • This 39” x 37” striped blanket is made on the Addi 22 needle machine. It is the perfect size for a baby blanket but is also great as an adult lap blanket.
    Your gonna want to make a few!
    I used Bernat Premium yarn and I tell you the colours and how much you will need at the start of the video.

    I love this blanket, but need to figure out the sizing for a standard and large afghan size for my 6'3" plus guys. What awesome holiday gifts and if done in college colors all the boone to me and for them. I could do a simple non lacey SC or /2 DC border in the two colors as well. Although, your boxy border does not look too lacey anyway. Thank you and just joined your group!

    I mixed three large Addi strips with two small strips and ultimately I made it work, but I’m not a fan. I used the same yarn for both (different colors), but the skinnier Addi strips were much more dense. I’m assuming it was because of the smaller circumference, but maybe it was the tension on the larger one. Have you tried mixing the two? It was my first blanket, so I’m chalking it up to experience. It turned out okay - I just want it better.
    I love your border! I’m going to follow this tutorial for my next one. Thank you!

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  Год назад

      I have mixed the two. I have a blanket pattern on RUclips for the gingham blanket. That uses both machines.
      I’m guessing your tension was different because the two machines do work together beautifully. Keep trying! ❤️

    Hello Shelly! Love your videos. You’re such a good teacher. Question: looked online at Joann’s for the yarn you’re using. I can’t find one that says Bernat Premium. Do you have any other info from the label you can share please. The yarn you’re using looks soft. Love the colors. Thanks! GBU!🥰💕🤗

    Hi there! Love your videos, definitely a huge help to a beginner over here! How many rows would you recommend for a sentro 48? And still the same number of panels? Sorry if you have alresdy answered this question and i missed it in your comments!

  • @teresahoecker797
    @teresahoecker797 10 месяцев назад

    Quick question. I just finished attaching my rows, I used a 3 wt. baby Bernat yarn, and am getting ready to do the border. There are some areas that the tension has caused it not to lay flat. I am thinking the problem is minor enough that I can wet it down and block. My question is…..would you put the border on before or after blocking?

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  10 месяцев назад +1

      Doesn’t matter but I personally would put the border on before. That way your not stretching the blanket in funny ways again as you work on it with the border.

    I can not grasp the instructions. You’re explanation are great! I cannot see the bar that you are indicating in the video. Do you know of a simple crochet join that does not include the bar? Please advise.

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  10 месяцев назад

      When you put your crochet hook into the center of the stitch the bar is there.
      Can you zoom in ?
      I am sure you could do a simple crochet slip stitch join. There are many crochet joins. Search how to crochet granny squares together and choose one of those styles.
