    Hey y'all!!! Here are the skein totals you need using the same kind of yarn that I used.
    Dark tone - 2 skeins
    Mid tone, and light tone - 5 skeins each

    Thank you, for a great tutorial, you are a great teacher ! You have convinced me to open my 5 year new never open boxed knitting machine and hopefully attempt a small blanket over the holidays . Your apologetic explanation about the reason for the chewed off end of your crochet needle, and "can't have anything nice right," comment received universal sympathy from all the people in the world who share their space with children and is centuries old. 😂😂😂My Grandfather had his own rendition of that one! 😂😂😂The struggle is still real! Thank God, children have replacement teeth🙏🙏🙏 Already Subscribed, and will binge watch your videos and looking forward to some more awesome videos. Wishing you, and your family a blessed holiday season.

      This comment just made my day!! You are completely right TG!! All our living room furniture is pretty much destroyed at this point, but I can't convince myself to buy anything new (beside new furniture is NOT in the budget right now). I know that the minute I buy anything new that it will be drawn on, spilled on, or otherwise broken within a month. 😭 New furniture is for when the kids are at least all school age. 4 girls under 8 is not for the faint of heart... But I love them so!
      I am SO glad you like my channel! I am happy you are here TG!! 😊😁

      @@YarnatPlay So glad it did ! Btw. We grew up with second hand furniture all our lives and our family was the only house in the neighborhood where the living room was “lived in,” couch pillow forts anyone and sofa trampoline ?????!! Everyone else’s living room was only for guests and special occasions 🙄🙄🙄 (that’s how the kids felt about that) museum anybody????? I now have gray and black hairs sprouting on my chiny chin chin and I still remember those precious times . My parents never bought new furniture btw they just reupholstered everything since it was better than the new cardboard furniture in the stores !!! 😂😂😂
      Besides it gave us the appreciation and understanding of the real value of things. Pillow forts are currently being built as we speak and sofa trampoline training is being held in my now lived in living room. 😂🤣😂🤣 Don’t sweat the small stuff!!! I still find random hardened pieces of chewed up lollipop sticks and popsicle wrappers when vacuuming under sofa pillows and sofas during spring cleaning and we are talking about middle schoolers 😂🤣😂🤣 Your baby will have fond memories of the precious time spent with you in your comfy loving 🥰 family home . Long reply but just wanted to encourage with a real story 😊

      @@t398g thank you for the encouragement. 😊 I can count on one hand the amount of new furniture we have purchased since my husband and I have been married these past 10 years... But it is love that makes a home, not the furniture. ❤️ And besides, our busy, crazy , wonderful crew of girls would ruin new furniture within a month. 😉

    Beautiful tutorial. I put a plastic marker in my first & end stitches when binding off so that it’s very clear where those stitches are and makes them easy to see when it starts getting tight at the end.
    Also, I use a latch hook to bind off and that works wonderfully, as well. For me, I find it easier than a crochet hook.

      @@qween_blaz I did chance it and made it on the Sentro 48 and 22. I did the 12 rows on the 22 and 35 rows on the 48. Went together great...

      @@katemea will the row counter be different then what you have if using the Sentro 48 with 35 rows?

    This is my first time watching one of your videos and I’m glad I came across your channel. This tutorial was very easy to follow. I’ll definitely give this a try when I get my machines. Thank you for sharing.

    So I've watched a few videos of this to figure it out/get ideas and I guess.. why tubes and not panels? Just to make it thicker?

    Wonderful work. Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but how long did it take to do? Doesn't strike me as a simple weekend project.

    Such a great video! Question from a knitting machine newbie: what's the reasoning for using tubes instead of flat panels for this blanket?

    Such a beautiful blanket. Is it possible to do a crochet version?

    • @YarnatPlay
      @YarnatPlay  2 года назад

      I am sure there are some crochet patterns out there for a blanket like this. I am thinking it would be easiest to do using a C2C technique. I would do a Google search and see what you come up with!

    Love this! Thank you! I'm going to make one for my mom. She will love it! Do you let your tube fall off the corner of the table when you are knitting instead of trying to fold it back up in to the center?

    • @YarnatPlay
      @YarnatPlay  Год назад

      Yes I do. I tried the rolling method before and it just wasn't for me. I don't see any reason why you can't do that though if that is what you prefer. 😊

    Fabulous tutorial! Can you explain what the white extensions is for on the smaller machine? You thread the yarn thru it.
