Thank you so much for showing pin up and pin down in these videos I have been struggling lately with my pin up balls so I got a physx pin down and I was amazed how it fit the way I throw shot 743 out the box in league thanks again
Can you talk more about pin up and pin down drilling? What characteristics would each carry. I am new to bowling. Also can you expand a bit on RG, diff and bowling styles? Thank you in advance.
@@QuickBallReview the first ball i use is the intense. Third ball i go to is the hy-road pearl. I need something inbetween. I also have the hustle ink, and the torrent.
Is your intense pretty skid/flippy for you? The intense Fire may be a good ball for the In-between there. It blends the down lane reaction very well and isn’t anything too strong down-lane.
the Intense fire will be even less flippy down lane than ur intense! Start with intense once you leave corners go into the intense fire, then if needed use the hy-road pearl.
I am currently in between a stroker and a tweener usually playing between the 15 and 10. The heaviest hooking ball I have is the rotogrip disturbed and it does not hook enough on heavy patterns. I get pretty good rev rate and around 19 mph speed. I don't know if it's because of the layout that it doesn't hook much as ive been told its a weak layout. What do you think would be a ball to allow me to really open up the lane and belly out from farther left and not have to worry about it not coming back? Any help appreciated!
Tough to say...With higher ball speed, you need a strong ball like the PhysiX or even the Roto Grip Halo. Where is the pin on the layout that you have on the disturbed? the Disturbed was an HP3 ball, more along the lines of an Idol, but weaker. I think the PhysiX would not disappoint for what you are looking for at all and you would be able to achieve what you are looking for!
The pin is above the two finger holes more towards the right I believe. I don’t have it with me and haven’t hit the lanes in a while. Eager to get back. What do you think about the sure lock?
I have a surelock and I'm a lefty low rev rate stand on right side first dot and second. I throw 15 mph on houseshot on wooden lanes having hard time keeping it on my side need help
Yes maybe the pin up ball. Pin down stored a lot more energy. We’ll do an updated video with a ball that has a better layout for the house shot and jacks PAP.
I did notice a bit that it was kinda rolling out when it was getting to the 1-3 pocket. My Dad loves the Physix that he has though. I guess some of us just have different opinions of different bowling balls. I know I have the AstroPhysix, and I feel that that ball is a beast!! I now know what I have to do to get the most out of it, and I am looking forward to the future with it.
Good video. I feel like your first tester is very often too far left for his speed/rev rate. Standing on the left gutter and aiming at the 3 pin with that speed/rev rate just doesnt give the ball a chance to find the track area. Pulls slide and come in weak and pushes chug but dont have even entry angle. Then it just turns into an over-under mess. I'd love to see him 2+2, 3+3, or 4+4 right and let the ball see the more of the very buffed out, helpful portion of the oil pattern.
Thanks for watching! I agree too far left, but there’s a lot of friction to the right. Needs a much weaker layout to play straighter. Which is what we did for the ball jack actually drilled. He’s able to keep farther right and angles straighter. Ball is a monster for him.
Good video man! Like that you added another bowler for this one to mix it up a bit. I may make a video on this ball soon. Maybe film yourself at some point too? I'd like to see you throw a few. Keep it up!
Depending on what type of lane surface and volume of the house shot and someone’s ball roll, it can be. For jack the pin down could be used, but any stronger, you are absolutely correct. Brad same thing being higher rev rate he would need a very weak layout to use his, which would defeat the purpose of the ball in his bag! Thank you for watching and noticing!
I'm sorry but except for really specific sport conditions this ball is a hard pass. It looks atrocious even in these video reviews (which are generally optimistic) which says a lot.
Looks sick! Hope to see some shots from the man himself throwing the Hyroad X!
We shall see! Maybe not for the initial, but I will see what I can do!

Thanks for watching Kyle and for the feedback. I am glad that you were able to try something new and it worked for your game!! 743 is a great set!
Enjoyed the video and good commentary. Thank you for the effort you put in to this video.
Thank you for taking the time to watch!

PAP too. Thanks.
Thanks for showing pin up and pin down and high revver!
Looking to replace my code black. I dont want a skid flip ball. What ball would work best?
Are you looking for a bigger ball like the Code Black? Or are you looking for something weaker overall?

Does lighter weighted (12-13lbs)ball's core affect reaction

I would try changing the surface on ball. 4000 wet pad on a ball spinner may work the best
Looks sicks? Its looks to me like your burning the ball up leaving 10’s to me

@@QuickBallReview will do!
This is 100% a sport shot ball. The over-under reaction as seen shows that the Physix is not for house shot conditions

I used this ball for the 1st time yesterday and I’d have to agree I managed to roll a 225 after some adjustments but if the lanes are dry good luck !
The weight block is ribbed for your pleasure
I’ll ask what everybody else wants to know also..what’s up with those finger inserts man
