Australian breaker Rachael Gunn or famously called as B-Girl Raygun became an online meme material after her performance at the Paris Olympics. A meme fest stared after Gunn's controversial routine at the Games. People questioned Gunn's place at the Olympics and mocked the athlete. But the breaker hit back at critics and even found support from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Rupha Ramani brings you more.

The government auditor should investigate this and see how taxpayers money was spent, esp on whether the selection process was according to regulations, including the selection of the panel or judge who made the decision to let her represent Australia.

Adding to the embarrassment due to Gunn, it's now the Australian PM's turn to embarrass us with this. There should be a proper investigation of the alleged fraudulent way Gunn was selected.

I totally disagree with this - The Olympic Games have always been about skill, talent and athleticism. The narrator is saying that it is not about skill, talent and athleticism it is more about anyone who wants to express them selves in break-dancing can be in the Olympics....that is ridiculous! No wonder the Olympics have dropped break-dancing!
It's time to leave her alone. There have been plenty of other olympians who didn't measure up to the rest of the field. Remember Eddy the Eagle or the Bhutan marathoner this year? They were celebrated, not ridiculed. Why is this one different?

She was underpowered compared to her competitors and miscalculated how her performance would be received, so at worst you might accuse her of being tone-deaf to that effect. But you have NO evidence that she deliberately mocked anything or anyone. Look up Eddie the Eagle, he was as least as ridiculous as that, but he was widely lauded for trying (as he should have been). Then they lobbied the Australian Olympic Committee informing them they have ticked all the boxes. The committee led by friend Anna Maeres let her through, She has been given over quarter million dollars in research grants and tax funds, studying street spaces for street dance. And finally she gets free tickets, accommodation to Olympic Games. Corruption is an understatement…it is a crime that people love to scam the system . Arrest her for fraud!!!!
