@waltsTV Great review, one question, if you wanted to leave the surrounds detached, can you plug them into the usb charging port and run them like that?
Yeah it all depends on what speakers or audio your listening to because it is compressed. Our subscribers appreciate it so I make sure to include them!
Today arrived my new Jbl Bar 1300, and i have a problem with it. When i play music or ytb videos from my phone, the sound only comes from the rear detachable speakers, and not from the main unit ( the detachables are conected to the main unit). When I dettach one of the rear speakers from the main unit, the sound immediately starts playing on the main unit. When i reattach the speaker back (both are connected now) the main unit mutes and the sound comes only from the Left and Right detachable speakers. Please help me!!!
I'm really stuck between this and the Polk magnifi Max with the SR surrounds. I have seen some reviews on this JBL bar and the consensus seems to point to be a little far of the bass-heavy end. Is that your observation? Do you find the Magnif Max to be more balanced?
I think the magnify mini is more balanced at standard settings but you can alway get this soundbar and turn down the bass if its too much. In terms of quality sound they were very similar to me. We did do a video on the max - ruclips.net/video/uHo5zgIX4Xk/видео.html
Yes for sure! I would actually leave them on for most of the time unless your playing video games that require surround sound, or watching real dolby atmos content!
@@bennivideo2164 right. so if you already had the 1300 then it probably wouldnt be worth upgrading to the 1300x, however if your buying it for the first time you should look at the 1300x. imo
I have the 1300x hooked up to an LG C1 through Earc and set to pass through. Have you had any problems with it turning off randomly while streaming movies through the tv.
@WaltsTV I while back I purchased a jbl 9.1 sound bar that I found was missing a pin for the detachable satellite speaker. Took it back to BB very disappointed. How did that unit pass QC? It's been a few years since so I'm thinking of taking another shot at it and your review helped.
I'm really interested in this bar but it seems in europe we have only jbl bar 1300 (without X). Do you know what are the differences between those? Also is it right that you can charge the side/rear speakers just with USB-C ports? I've read somewhere that those ports are only for some tech purposes and on US market you can stream trough it but no word about charging anywhere.. Can you check if the charging works please?
US only gets X model which is a 12 inch sub. Rest of the world gets 1300 series and 10 inch sub. Im in Australia and stuck with the same dilemma as reviews state that the 12 inch sub makes a massive difference.
This is tough because the SNY10G is a really high quality soundbar. I think it will probably sound clearer but the bass and the surround will be better on the JBL
Uggggg. JBL still cannot do it. Here's the thing; sound bars are never going to be 'audiophile' sound quality, but you know what? The Bose 900 and Bass Module 700 get it pretty darn close and better than the JBL when you are in that sound demo room comparing the two. Currently, I have the JBL 9 ATMOS, and at the time, I thought I had one kickass soundbar, that is, until I played music, and it sounded "muddy". The bass is there, but no crystal clear highs. No crisp sound detail, just muddiness. Switch it over to the Bose and they nail it perfectly. So I thought well, maybe this 1300X will do it better or fixes it? Still! Not quite. What's the deal here? JBL has the potential to be THE SOUNDBAR of the decade, but fell short in the sound detail only giving brain blasting bass. Some silk dome tweeters added to this bar would take it to the next level, but for whatever reason, it continues to fall short in this area. What's going on??????????
Did you mess around with the EQ? Is it placed super far from you or on a very thick carpet? How tall are your ceilings? These are all things that could affect the sound.
ok review was ok but the sound test is horrible why do people play there music play a movie like top gun independence day something with action not play EDM
1. Sound tests through RUclips are not that effective, but people still appreciate them 2. I don't play movie action scenes because of copyright. ( If you can find a non-copyright scene with action for me I will start doing it )
Iam waiting for this 12 inch monster to get released in india. Currently in here we only have jbl 500,800 and 1300 non X versions which only has a 10 inch Sub. 🥲🥲

Thats weird, have you tried reaching out to manufacture support?

Do the detachable speakers work when attached to main part of sound bar? Or are they just charging. Can I leave them attached and get good sound.
Yes for sure! I would actually leave them on for most of the time unless your playing video games that require surround sound, or watching real dolby atmos content!
Did you identified any bass difference between 1300x 12inch sub vs 1300 10 inch sub
I haven't heard the 1300 10 inch but I do know there is going to be a fairly noticeable difference because 2 inches in a subwoofer is a large jump.
@@WaltsTVBoth are still 300 watt tho

No, Have not heard of the. Could be a hdmi cable problem.
Thank you I was thinking the same thing. I watched your hdmi video after watching the JBL LG g3 video
have you compared this to their older model the 9.1 channel?
I have not but this is the best one by far.
hello, what do you recommend JBL 1300 or SAMSUNG HW-Q990C? thank you!
The JBL!
Nice review. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed!

Great review, brother. Do you think that would work well with a 12’ ceiling?
Yes, absolutely. Infact I think this sandbar would work best in a 12-14 ft ceiling just because of how much power there it is.
@@WaltsTV ok but what about 30 foot vaulted ceilings?
Am I able to use this sound bar with my projector since both the sound bar and projector have HDMI ports??? Thanks for the awesome review!!! 👍
yes if its hdmi ARC it should work with this soundbar!

I belive it works we had a customer that used it like that. And i think if it was tech purposes they would have made it regular usb
@@WaltsTV ah yes, thanks! I found it in manual finally. That was the last piece I wanted for the soundbar so I bought it and it is great! :))

Will this be an upgrade?
Is the bass good in normal movies without Dolby Atmos
This is tough because the SNY10G is a really high quality soundbar. I think it will probably sound clearer but the bass and the surround will be better on the JBL
@@WaltsTV i got the Samsung HW-Q810C insted. Soo good. The bass isent so over powered but its so realistisk, and the sound is clean
Is it good for gaming with ps5? Ps5 allows an always on Dolby atmos signal
yes! it also has a game mode
Can I use this soundbar for home Karaoke by adding a mixer?
I would assume so if your using optical as an input.
Looks great stuck between this and Samsung 990c...😢
This is a beast, What TV do you have? and what do you like to watch the most?
Imo the klipsch 1200 sounds a lot better

Of the decade. I’d put the dragon and Sennheiser Ambeo Max and plus above this
@@TravionMusic Agreed. The Sennheiser with a 3rd party subwoofer is UNTOUCHABLE.
