Depends on the battery size. A 4 can run at least 5 hours on high

You gotta jump on the battery sales when they happen, or you can always just buy an adapter.
The batteries work on the other tools too. So if you already have a Ryobi cordless tool then it's not a big deal.

$12 will buy you an adapter off eBay to run both yellow and red batteries on the Ryobi stuff. I been doing it for years.
