Just got back from Antalya. It was the best trip we ever had. One thing for sure, you need to have a turkish sim there. Just don’t buy it in the airport. Crazy expensive. Water is almost free, so cheap. In terms of food we always spend 350 to 600tlr per meal for 2. If you’re intending to stay in Antalya city (we did in Kaleici), renting a car is not that necessary. Better book activities with free transport. Cheaper and hassle free. Thank you for your previous videos. We were prepared on what to expect. Keep up the great work! P.S. please improve the transition on your videos.
Glad our videos are helpful! Thank you for sharing your experience in Antalya with us. Regarding the transitions, we were late to post today because of them. We fixed them twice but we're having a problem with our laptop.
Hi, it is not manadotry, but it helps a lot to know the routes and check restaurants' reviews and places to visit. Even if you want to rent an electric scooter, you need connection for the app to work. At the end, it is a personal preference. 😊

Hi, try to download "Antalya Kart" it is for the buses and tramways. One you are in Antalya, you can download the scooters apps and BiTaksi. Also you can press the yellow button that is found almost everywhere in Antalya for a taxi to pick you up from the location.
I love watching vlogs. They are very informative! I am coming to visit Antalya in October god willing. I am a bit nervous and worried. You mention the taxi currency scams. Where is best to stay where good central location and close to tram buses too? Can you visit Antalya on a budget? Is october november a good time to visit?
Hi, don't worry. It is not something that happens frequently. We are only highlighting what could happen if someone is not aware. There are a lot of good taxis and always follow the meter. Lara, konyaalti and the Old Town are all accessible by buses. If you want to swim, November is not suitable.
@tiptopturkey Thanks for your reply. No I do not wish to swim. Just want to see the sights. Walk on the beach and spend some time to relax. Is October November weather cold or warm? Do the prices become reasonable as most tourists gone?
The weather is still warm. Expect some rain in November. The prices will be the same, but I think you can benefit from hotel prices and car rentals since it is not the high season anymore. Enjoy your trip!😊
@tiptopturkey thanks appreciated. Will it rain at the end of October or first week of November? Where is reasonable accommodation in terms of price? Kaleici Konyalti or Lara? Any hotel you recommend?
You're welcome! We don't know about this year but usually, there's no rain around this time and the weather is pleasant. As for hotels, we have no recommendations. Kaleiçi is between Konyaalti and Lara and it's the Old Town. So, it should be the best option. Also, you can find all budgets in the 3 areas.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are glad you like our videos 😊 Sorry to hear that your stay in Antalya hasn't been good so far. You are absolutely right regarding some prices being above European prices, which is unacceptable and indeed when you pay a lot you expect good quality which is unfortunately not available everywhere in Antalya. We recommend that you always check reviews online. Also, check menus and prices of all items before ordering so that you calculate how much approximately you should be paying. Regarding taxi price from the airport to Muratpaşa, the price is fair if you went by the meter. The fuel price has gone up to 41 TL/litre. Also note that all beef dishes are very expensive in Turkey, almost double chicken prices. Regarding SIM cards, when we were filming a video, the same thing happened to us. We got different prices at different branches. Unfortunately, many take advantage of tourists as if they make easy money.
