    How To Factory Reset Ring Battery Doorbell:
    1) You will first need to remove the cover plate to the Ring Doorbell. The Ring Doorbell requires a T15 Screwdriver bit to remove the screw that holds the cover in place. Unscrew the screw then pull forwards to remove the battery doorbell cover.
    2) The Ring Battery Doorbell needs to be powered up in order to reset it. So make sure that the battery is charged or it's wired up when you reset it.
    3) To Reset The Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus press down on the orange button under the cover for 15 seconds. Once you release the button the Ring Doorbell will factory reset. Once you release the button it takes about 1 minute for the Ring doorbell to complete the factory reset process. It will chime to let you know that the reset process is complete and you can set it back up.

    Mine is about 3 years old and it no longer resets and the 2nd battery died after a cold winter, ring is terrible.

      I've had my Ring doorbell 4 years Never had a problem. In fact, I have four other ring cameras with solar chargers never had a problem . Maybe it's the nut loose behind it

    What screwdriver should I use? Dont have the Ring one

    Completed instructions for reset of a 2nd edition, did not work...
    Was working fine until I changed my IT Provider, any advice welcome.
