This was my favorite PS1 game. I'd come home from school get a glass of milk break out the chocolate dipped Graham crackers and go to town on rebel Assault 2.
This is an easter egg. Right when you walk into the elevator, before the screen fades away, hold the keys "A", "C" and "T" and you'll get this hidden cutscene. Also there's another easter egg here 51:42 if you hold the keys "W" and "B" when the bridge is falling.
HINT: there are bonus objects you can shoot on Level 2. On the first section, the red button next to the door can be destroyed. On the second section, you can shoot and destroy the right upper light fixture. These two targets give you extra points. On the third section, you can shoot the red X button on the passing Cargo Container for an extra life.
Is it just me or did this game see way ahead of its time back when it came out? Kind of like how Donkey Kong leveraged the pre-rendered 3D sprites technique on SNES making it seem like the console was able to produce hi-def graphics. This truly felt like playing a movie and was a foreshadowing of things to come in terms of where gaming was heading in terms of realism and cinematic experiences.
Great game! 👽👌 I only remember playing *Rogue Squadron* back in the day for the N64 but not quite getting the gameplay because I was too young to understand English 😅 now I'm on the lookout for classic gems like these 🔥👏
51:47 i played this when i was young, but and i remember struggling thru each stage cuz i was dumb, but i honestly cannot remember that clip where the stormtrooper fell like the Wily Coyote from Looney Tunes. I do remember destroying that bridge many times, but only to see the bridge fall.
Ah yes. I tried to play this game in a gamepad: *epical sensibility to 500% on the Corelian Stage* Fun fact and curiosity: If you play in lower difficult, the joke in the epilogue, is the person who give you the medal can give you a small or not too shiny trophy (in medium and hard) or a such a 4th wall shame commentary (if you play on easy)
Better Star Wars feel than anything Disney has done and an absolutely worthy and better successor to Rebel Assault 1.
Played this when it came out. High school memories. 🤘

Got the Playstation version for Christmas when I was younger. Loved playing this game!
59:12 I don’t remember the stormtroopers in the background dancing like that lol.

Huh. I'd heard of that easter egg. I couldn't get it to work so I didn't believe it existed.
Such a great game. Very good plot too
took me back to my childhood

A long time ago,in a galaxy far far away,Before 3DFX achieved balance with the Force...

So infinitely more Star Wars than anything shat out by Disney.

I remember it. The year 1996. The tunnels gave me most trouble.
May The Force Be With You!
Password: Anakin. Nice.
I would love to see a remaster of these but with realtime 3D graphics
"Rookie one" just casually massacring hundreds of imperial pilots

Hope 1milion sub soon
Those Mynoc's need to stop feasting on power cables, makes them awfully explody when they get shot.

If only we got a third game
This looks fun 😀.
10/10!!!
Think you might do a walkthrough of other 90's games? Like Star Trek Borg, Bridge Commander, or maybe like Mortimer and the riddles of the medallion?
Sure, I'll probably play these at some point.
