"Rookie one" ... wow, takes me back
The real first Mario & Luigi game
Finally someone who actually knows how to play and showcases the whole game with the faster levels. Thank you for refreshing my memories 🥺🙏
5:24 he’s flying an A-Wing, but that’s an X-wing cockpit
Wish this had time stamps
The first game I remember playing, having 3 yo hahaha
Back when I played this as a child, it never dawned on me. What a massive queen that tailor was.
8:26 Horrorland Park Map. YOU SHOULD’NT BE HERE!!!
3:04 Welcome to Horrorland! Where Nightmares Come To Life!
1:56:15 I hate to see Horrorland gets blown up. But at least the Morris kids is safe.
todo lo que tiene que hacer es romper los huevos?
Yes.
I wish that R.L. Stine would open a real life, Horrorland. Where Nightmare Come To Life. Only for safety, not a real monsters. Just people in mascots.
1:49:35 Run For Your Lives
I may not be into Goosebumps, but I can’t deny that the sets are beautifully designed!
Wow, this was bad looking even for the time it came out. I'm sticking with Rebel Assault 2. Nothing to write home about, but it was certainly easier on the eye.
Why not sacrifice a few coins to show the learning process of the game?? The werewolf scene was boring and nobody got it right the first time.
I was trying to beat the game with the maximum number of coins (which is supposedly 777), so I didn't want to waste any. I didn't lose a single coin and searched everywhere, but I still ended up with only 637 coins at the end. Maybe there's a hidden area or some undiscovered secret?
@@RetroPCGames Oh my god! Let me first say thank you SO MUCH for the detailed playthrough! Escape from Horrorland is a childhood favorite of mine and I've replayed it more times than I count. I did set out to do a 100% run in 2012 and as far as I was concerned I had accomplished that until I saw your video. Long story short, there appear to be a number of things that I've missed and there are definitely things that you've missed; I'll start with the former: 1. I distinctly remember there being 8 trash tunnels and not 9. I will have to fire up my trusty saved game from just before Dracula's Castle and explore the areas again to verify which one I've missed. Exciting stuff! 2. I cannot believe you actually beat the Coffin Ride! That is insane to me because after trying several dozen times I wrote that particular challenge off as an unbeatable troll. I guess I'll be trying that several dozen more times until I beat it. I can tell you this though: the game appears to drop a random number of spiders on each run, resulting in a variance of 2-3 tokens per attempt. For me that meant per FAILED attempt lol but I imagine the opposite will be true for successful attempts as well. So this puzzle is a bit of a cheat however you cut it and it lends credence to the idea that 777 is a completely inaccurate number (more on this below). Now, for the stuff that YOU missed (I hope you'll be as excited about these as I was about the upper ones lol): 1. Once you beat the trash tunnel down Doom Slide #9, you actually have the option to go back to the Doom Slide OR go to a secret area called "Dracula's Castle." There are several dozen tokens to collect over there; no idea if it drops a random or fixed number of coins per (first and only) attempt. 2. The mummy maze is actually beatable! I'm pretty much convinced I'm the only person to have ever beaten it because the solution is so incredibly obtuse you'll want to tear your hair out once you've figured it out. I told myself "what if I tried X" and to my utter bewilderment X actually did work. There are nearly 100 tokens in the maze and once you've gotten the last one, you'll hear a sound just like the one at 1:01:49. Let me know if you would like the solution up front or you would prefer to figure it out on your own. 3. There are well over 800 tokens in the game in total. Nothing happens once you reach 777. I wouldn't be surprised if the number was over 900 or even 1000 if you add the 9th trash tunnel that I had missed plus don't lose any coins on the Coffin Ride. We will see! And that's that. Man, I just knew this game had more tricks up its sleeve. I hope I've given you something to be excited about; you sure have. Cheers! PS: As far as I'm aware, the Whack-a-Worm game just goes on forever; I once got to over 700 and nothing happened; the same appears to be true for the tank game at the ATM but with this game, who knows?
So to follow up on the number of tunnels, it looks like I've got all 9 covered but for some reason didn't realize the tunnel from Horrorland Plaza to the Valley of the Lost Kings is in neither of the two books. Currently trying to beat the Coffin Ride lol. Got my high score down to just two hits.
Got to 832 tokens with two hits and then 830 tokes with just one hit. Telling you thing ride is a cheat.
832 with three hits looool!
I remember it. The year 1996. The tunnels gave me most trouble.
How can I run this game myself? really want to go back and play this game
I never made it to chapter 12 I believe. I played this with a joystick back in the days and found it to be extremely hard. I was a child back then and never figured out that I could jump to a level using the codes so I had to start over many times.
10/10!!!
May I have permission to ask you where can I download it?
I always knew of Rebel Assault II, never really considered the first one lol.
51:47 i played this when i was young, but and i remember struggling thru each stage cuz i was dumb, but i honestly cannot remember that clip where the stormtrooper fell like the Wily Coyote from Looney Tunes. I do remember destroying that bridge many times, but only to see the bridge fall.
that's the type of game I'd see on aptoide
Now, this is the game Scholastic needs to remake.
Better Star Wars feel than anything Disney has done and an absolutely worthy and better successor to Rebel Assault 1.
This looks fun 😀.
I would to play this game again! Omg the memories from the 1990s as a kid! 😢

I don't remember much of this game, because the game always crashed after 10 seconds, but I still remember that crazy guy from the intro. I googled him, it's the actor Christian Erickson and he's now 77 years old. I'm surprised he's still alive because he already looked old back in 1993.
This game blew my mind as a 10 year old, the game was really hard because of the janky controls, I think I completed it somewhere till the 30 minute mark where you play as a human. I couldn't beat that part.
I still have this game lol
😊
6:44 Why fight the zombie instead of pushing the trunk on top?
LOL, yeah. I'm aware that this is something you can do, but I really wanted some action.
I wish there was a new version of this game
hola amigo como estas me acabe de suscribir exelente canal me gusto ya le di like bro 👍🇨🇴💙🕹️🕹️🕹️🕹️🕹️🕹️
Hola. Thank you for subscribing.
If only we got a third game
Nunca pude pasar bayou carrera de mierda 😂😂😂
Thanks for the upload
Ah yes. I tried to play this game in a gamepad: *epical sensibility to 500% on the Corelian Stage* Fun fact and curiosity: If you play in lower difficult, the joke in the epilogue, is the person who give you the medal can give you a small or not too shiny trophy (in medium and hard) or a such a 4th wall shame commentary (if you play on easy)
"Rookie one" just casually massacring hundreds of imperial pilots
Joystick or keyboard?
Joystick.
@@RetroPCGames New or old?
New, I was using a PS4 controller.
@@RetroPCGames cool!
This was actually my introduction to the Star Wars saga.
Ohh man, the memories 🤯👍 I remember playing this along other racing game called *Viper Racing* where you drive highly customized (for the time) Dodge Vipers 😁 in the N64 was playing *Beetle Adventure Racing* and *Gran Turismo 1* For the PS1. 👍 Awesome times
I remember playing this game as a little kid on the 3DO man this brings back memories.
How come I've only just noticed it says enemy sheilds. I've played this game since I was a kid haha.
The first level... I can't jump over the big water at the end. Any tricks?
Hmm, that's weird. Are you aware that you can run by hold the CTRL key on your keyboard?
@@RetroPCGames Oh, that's probably the problem! I played this game like 8 years ago for the last time. It's nostalgic as hell Thank you L
I have one more question... Where can I find the full game? Everything I found was just the demo without the end. You play this online or did you download it?
@clove.6430 you can probably find it by looking up games made by Mike Wiyering I know I have it saved in my computer getting it from a site like that. You also need a DOSBOX emulator, as this game was made for 90s windows only
I also had the same problem as a kid, not knowing there was a run button. The times I'd manage to get past the pit was doing what the guy in the video did, which was timing the jump to the fish coming out of the water. They come at complete random, so you can have an idea of how much time I wasted looking at them jumping and thinking of a strategy
Can you do Goosebumps: Attack of the Mutant?
Never played this one before, but I'll give it a try. May take some weeks before I can publish.
@@RetroPCGames I played it on my sister’s old HP computer and I loved it! It’s a fun game
Hola; Estoy muy Agradecido por este vídeo, este juego para la época que fue. WOOOOW fue Super increíble, y me hiciste regresar en el tiempo y recordar mis años dorados en los juegos. Gracias
Hello. I'm glad you like it. ;-)
why did you take the video with number 3? why not the number 4 ou 5 for example?
I can't remember very well what happens if you try to take any other tape than number 3 (nor if it's even possible), but tape 3 is the correct one.
