@@Twobarpsi I came home from band practice and got a call from a band member the second I walked in the door. It had just been reported minutes prior. The music scene changed over night from that event. Still hasn’t recovered in my area.
What a frigging great guitar player. I love everything about his style, and his sound. Simply big and fat, gnarly, interesting phrasing, solid technique, knows his gear, willing to share his knowledge. Really proficient. Must be a lonely place being that good.
That is fing awesome!! When you see that someone watched the first 2:08 minutes of the video 200x, that was me! As always, you rock. Looking forward to your album!!!
The EROS is fantastic. I have had mine for awhile now and it has remained on my board. The eq is extremely useful, the Q value is not too extreme and it makes the whole lot sweep usable. Very good pedal
Hey man ive watched u for probably 5-6 years and absolutely love ur shit. Youre the only guy to actually represent the fuckin tone in my opinion yeah it aint humble 😂 A year or 2 ago i tuned my 85' 2204 to the tits, over 6 weeks with a couple 4 way switches on over 40 points in the amp and i think ive semi stumbled upon the Holy Grail of all Marshall sounds. Its my opinion that u need to try it brother. Its a plate loaded 6550 4 stager with a 4 way slope switch thats been neutered enough in the coupling to actually achieve the mythical "only gets better as u turn it up" fantasy. And its chiseled to the point of leaving 0% to the imagination.
Kyle is the shit, that guy is a huge help with gear. He did some really sick stuff when making my KT88 loaded Orthos 100 MKII. Such a monster Amp with vice tight response.
KSR makes some great gear. As i understand it just about everything is done in house here in America. Prices seem fair and well worth feature set. This amp sounds great too and has lots of features
Thank you! And, correct, we do almost everything under one roof in our Cincinnati based shop. We send anodizing over to Indiana, and we do everything else right here. ;)
I had this pedal for a while but could not vibe with it. I also had the Hera. I found them tough to dial in well, and never found a sound that worked for me. For me, they always sounded like a pedal rather than integrating with my amp well. Lots of guys love them though and get amazing results. Great playing and nice video review.
Awesome stuff...I'd still like to see you do a feature on the Colossus. I have one, and would be really interested in seeing how you would coax some serious toneage out of it.
Thanks. The sounds are from Superior 3, Rock Foundry expansion pack, "Metal" preset from Bob Rock. It's pretty nicely dialed in. It only works if the rest of your bass and guitar tones are good too. I've tried it with OK tones, and the drums sound crazy... everything has to work together.
The MIDI for this was actually Walk from Panera. I was originally just going to do a cover of Walk, so I found this company that does great drum MIDI covers: www.ironstrongholdproductions.com. But then I started improvising some other riffs onto the drum parts, and wrote my own thing (Walk inspired) to those drums. I highly recommend this guys drum MIDI he nailed the parts and swing and pocket, and they're not too expensive.
3 frigging great amps. Any one would do in a heartbeat. I think the Diesel by itself sounds best. I think the Bogner would cut through the mix best if playing with a full band, followed closely by the Soldano. It may be a toss up there. But because of my loyalty I always take Soldano, don't even care what the other guys got because of what a great person he is.
That's an interesting statement. I was under the impression that progressive metal, djent and other takes on modern metal are all about note definition.
@@MeTuLHeD I am referring, in particular, to the “chainsaw” (bee in a Coke tin) tone, that is synonymous with the modern metal I have heard. Over the top fuzz/distortion.

The opening song was killer. Good stuff.
Half way through demo song I was like he is channeling Dimebag. Happy to see the mxr on and off. Thx for another great video

Ah, so I wasn't imagining that riffage you played was kinda inspired by Dimebag? I like it!!
Damn that intro gave me Pantera vibes... omg
Kyle is a frigging BOSS!!! He has been so personally helpful to me, a mere garage player...totally boss guy!

Sick playing and the tonez!
Thank you my dude!

Great video Michael. Thanks for this one 👍🏼
Pantera vibes. Great demo! What drums are you using?
Keep'em coming!

Killer ..
That guitar have a nice Warner sound!
Michael, you're intro tracks are always awesome. What you using in logic for the drums?

Very well suited to modern metal. It struggles a bit with note definition for my taste. But then, I’m stuck in the 80’s 😊
