    nice Radio,I love its RC car voltage telemetry and long 1900feet distance, and the receiver which have Gyro only over 20 usd,that's so cheaper than Futuba and Spektrum, and package price only $75. nice performance and nice price ,thanks share, your fans~

      @hybrid32494  4 года назад

      hey man, thanks for watching. Yup, I've never purchased a high end overpriced futaba or spectrum radio because their receivers are crazy prices. This brand has better functionality and receivers that cost less than 20 bucks. My main favorite feature on this is the Dual antennas and the RSSI feature which tells you how strong your signal is, I don't think any other brand has this.

      hey man! what's up!! I've been using this and the flysky, it just so happened that I started with the flysky gt5, but this one is on a totally different level in terms of features. Both are easy to use and program. For electrics I would say the extra functionality of this Radio link is really nice (with the battery jumper), otherwise for gas and nitros it's pointless.

    i just picked one up on amazon , im watching the video waiting for the mail to get here, the reason i bought it was because no other radio has these features and people spend hundreds of dollars for what this thing comes with at 75 bucks. i bought it to use with vrc pro because it has the trainer port.

    • @hybrid32494
      @hybrid32494  4 года назад

      hey bro!! Good point on the VRC pro software, I glossed over the trainer port, but you are right, that is a key feature, along with the easy USB update options from their website. My main thing is I wanted a feature packed radio that could run a lipo with no mods and had cheap and powerful receivers with gyros. This thing has it all.

    The best radio right now given it's features, build quality, support and range is the Flysky Noble NB4. I'm blown away by NB4, it does what my old 7PX did and MORE. Their gyro is coming soon so then the radio will truly have it all! Once you hold one, it makes every other radio you've owned feel like a giant brick.

    • @hybrid32494
      @hybrid32494  4 года назад

      sup bro! I just looked it up, the only thing it is missing is some 1080P resolution, hahaa. JK. Over 150 bucks though and half the signal range, but that display is dope I agree.

    • @Clickbaiters
      @Clickbaiters 4 года назад

      @@hybrid32494 Well, the range is a matter of the RX. Flysky makes a 10 channel aircraft diversity RX that is compatible with the Noble (Noble can output 8 channels) and that should have more range. Just haven't seen anyone test it though. I'd rather have a feature packed radio than being able to drive 2k feet, my vision is only good to 1850ft anyway😂😂 $70 is hard to beat though!!

    Nice job covering this remote. I have been using the RC4G2 for a while and love how it functions. I just ordered the RC6GS mainly for the price and 1/4" treaded mount on top. There is a mini phone jack next to the USB port and I still don't know what that's for. In the manual it's shown as a simulator port. They are old and outdated but I like that they "don't" have a touch screen. 👍

  • @cyclicracer
    @cyclicracer 4 года назад

    YESS!!! Finally a review on the RC6GS. It's a bit late for me as I got it for my Tmaxx a couple weeks ago. But I can tell you it was worth every penny. 23 adjustable settings, telemetry, and built in failsafe, and diversity antennas on the receiver. Only cons of this radio are the quality of the foam on the steering wheel, plastic on the radio, and the fact that the failsafe kicks in around one and a half seconds after the signal loss. Still, better than buying a 20$ failsafe for my FM buggy.
    By the way, to hook up to a nitro, use a 2s lipo connected to the BAT port using the included JST and another to the PPM port on the bottom using another JST. This receiver can go up to 3s, but it won't output 6v, it'll output whatever you hooked into it. (In my case, 2s lipo at 7.4v.) This burned out all my servos, since it was outputting around 8 volts. So either get yourself high voltage servos that can withstand the extra voltage(which is what I did but its expensive), or get a BEC from Turnigy.
    Cheers from California!

Apparently this remote is used for FPV applications too, because the Receiver has some type on onboard FPV system going on, I didn't get into it because I don't have any FPV stuff. But for that you clearly need a very long range radio with long antennas, just like this.

      @hybrid32494  4 года назад

      hey buddy! That's a sick RC, the limitless, very nice. Anyway, the instructions recommend you route both of the antennas along the chassis at a 45 degree angle away from each other (as close to 45 degrees as possible). Basically, you don't want the dual antennas touching and you want them to be as far away from other sensitive radio and ESC gear, to reduce interference. I usually hot glue the antenna leads, it works perfect, and is flexible for any future removals.

    • @hybrid32494
      @hybrid32494  3 года назад

      hey bro! Based on what I've read they recommend you set the antennas as far away from each other as possible, preferably going down the chassis. The reason is both of those antennas are used for back and forth telemetry reading, kind of like radar, for sending ad receiving. SO you need a good amount of separation space between them both. Also make sure they are not damaged in any way. Just use some hot glue to secure them to the chassis anywhere.

    Good info! I wish you could have compared it to the Flysky FS-GT5, but others have. I own 2 of the FS-GT5's.
    I am pleased with them but, I have 4 cars bound to one and 3 bound to the other. I like to play with friends/family etc so multiple transmitters allow that but, multiple cars bound to the same transmitter limit choices. I've been thinking about getting a Dumbo RC for my SWorkz S104 EVO buggy as, I'd like that vehicle on a seperate transmitter. This might be a better option in the long run as I add more cars.

      hey bro! Glad you saw this video, I also have the GT5 radio, and it's a great radio, it came with the Primal MT. I avoided doing a comparison of this one to the GT5 because the main RSSI signal strength and telemetry and long range features really blow away the GT5 based on those alone.
      Yes, get the 4ch dumbo radio, it s good choice for the price, its the same one that came on my ZD racing Pirates 2 buggy. No issues with it, other than the damn servo trim settings on the remote are tough to understand and you need to be a damn code breaker.

      hahaa, YES!! I'm literally running out of cups and cereal bowls because that's how I store my disassembled engine parts in between repairs. Not even joking, you can see random nitro parts all over my videos on the table sometimes.

    Hi there, man I need some help. I’m struggling with the stock carburettor of my LRP ZR 32 spec 4 pullstart nitro engine. Is it easy for you to do some research for me to find out a particular carburettor of another brand which I can fit in my LRP? Many thanks in advance. Keep up doing inspiring videos.

      hey buddy! Yes, it's got 10 model memory. All you need is a couple spare receivers and you could use this on most of your RC fleet, which Is what I have been doing on the older Flysky radios I have.

    Do you have to turn on the gyro manually every time? Does the RX remember the settings?
