- The anti-immigrant attitude is common in South Africa. But in recent months it has taken an organised shape in the form of a rapidly growing populist movement. Young people united as the movement called "Operation Dudula" are demanding that illegal immigrants be sent home. The ruling party, the ANC, will have to respond. Authorities are firm in their stance of: "No jobs for undocumented migrants", but the situation can quickly get out of hand. Nobody wants to relive the tensions of 2008, 2015 and 2019.

Dear Africans as a South African we love you and deep inside you know it's true. Zimbabwean shona and Ndebele tribes you know we Zulu, Xhosa, Swati, Sotho etc. We all descend from the same Nguni Kingdom we are one blood our ancestors used to tell us stories about how you Zimbabweans would come to South Africa to pay respect to your ancestors here. as a african you have all the right to be here. If I would talk of yesterday my 6 years daughter was beaten up by a child of a 16 years illegal immigrant still search for him even now, while on that my wife called me to come and fetch her from work because she doesn't feel safe around with illegal immigrants robbing woman and raping them. Let me give a partial answer: One of the reason why even South African companies do not want to hire South African citizen is because you're lazy guys, that's the point, you complain a lot, and offer little.
So shameful, when you think of the baby years of solidarity that other African nations showed in the fight against apartheid. These other countries took in South African anti-apartheid exiles. This kind of xenophobia is exactly what we are seeing in many European countries which are expelling black Africans fleeing instability and misery

Yes I totally agree. But every country has its laws. I feel like the wrong message is being conveyed here. South Africans have lived with immigrants for years even during apartheid times. Nobody had a problem with them. The issue here is those who come in huge numbers and are undocumented. They commit crimes and they cannot be traced because they are undocumented. I cannot go to another country without proper documentation I will be turned away at the borders. The reason is because someone somewhere has to know that I’m there. Why is this so hard to accept when it comes to South Africa?

In the sprit of fairness, SA needs to be broken into multiple countries with Dudula Republic of South Africa being one. Seeing this video makes me feel that segregation was not a bad ideal. It makes lots of sense.
@Derrick Jensen so teue. I stayed in the UK for two years. Served my time. Enjoyed my stay and back to South Africa.
When I left Poland had just joined EU. They were flooding the low wage jobs in the UK.
In South Africa it is hard for us because foreiners have their own nations however they demand social support, jobs, free housing, etc. All sorts of crimes.
