You've clearly never played any PvP games. I punched my computer and almost broke my hand because I lost a 1000$ minecraft tournament. Trust me, it's easy to lose focus and black out then break stuff. It sucked
That first story is deeply depressing, it looks like addiction has been passed down from mother to children, the daughter using cigarettes and the young boy microtransactions on Roblox. The sad thing is that Roblox knows that their demographic are children yet still include microtransactions causing severe headaches for parents.
I know! We had some problems with my sister and her Roblox account. Nothing too major, as it turns out, but it’s always really sad when games exploit children. What always gets to me is the fact that the children need to see some of their favorite past-time and/or escape taken from them without actually understanding why (I do have a soft spot for kids and seeing them sad always makes me sad in return) Also I actually believe that the kid in the first story is not too much at fault, he’s 8 and has some cognitive problems and a rough life. Of course he shouldn’t behave like that, but unfortunately we can see that this family has been abandoned by the welfare and their country.
@@Locked101 well that's accidently, there are stories of kids stealing credit cards from parents or trying to get their own credit cards for Robux. So hopefully Roblox can address these issues.
Agreed. Just imagine how frustrating it would be to find out that money was taken from your card because your kid wanted Robux. Buying Robux without permission from a parent/guardian violates the Roblox Terms of Service and could result in your account being terminated. I never really bought Robux in this entire 5 years that I've been on this platform and I still have my sanity intact. The kid in the first story though...
@@leonardopevarelli3850 yeah and it are always these shitty cash grab simulator games that die out super fast because there is 0 effort put into them yet children but stuff in them because they don't know better
Sidenote: the person who made the first post edited it after it was featured. Here's what the edit said: "Well shit, this post ended up being featured in r/ slash. I've been brought to reddit by his videos, so it's quite the surprised to be noticed by him. Although, I'm not sure I really like the amount of attention this is getting, as I fear people will take this too seriously and get hostile/harmful. I feel like I might need to make a few points, so here it goes: First, please do keep in mind that this was written in the heat of the moment. The incident had just happened and I was frustrated and angry, thus emphasizing the bad traits of the kid. He's a little demon, sure, but only during his outbursts. As bad as those may sound, they're getting less and less frequent, thanks to the medication and the professionals who take care of him. They may sound rather violent through my words, because it's how they seem to me, but no one got really hurt. In the past, his behavior was way worse, and had it remained the same by now, I don't think I'd be sane. What I mean to say is, sure, the outbursts are awful. But they're just tantrums thrown by a disabled kid. He does not need to be thrown in an asylum, and he does not need to be put up for adoption. Even if things do get hard sometimes, he's a good kid, and is really trying his best. Most of you know relationships between siblings aren't the easiest ones. Despite my words, I truly do believe he's doing great, and that he'll get better very soon. He has a treatment, which does fit his needs, and he makes efforts. My mother and I do our best to help him, and he is getting better. In the end, those outbursts hurt him the most, as he isn't in control of himself when they do happen. Just imagine how painful that must be, for a kid his age. All I'm saying here, is, please don't take my words as facts. I'm a 17 year old kid with her own struggles and with a lot of bullshit to deal on the side. The kid is a little boy who only wants to get better and who's trying his best. His outbursts haven't resulted in more than a scratch, and that happened a few years ago. When I say that he's getting better, he truly is. As for the financial situation, we're handling it pretty well so far. We're eating, I can afford to take the bus and go to school, we can afford to take the kid to the doctors, and my mom is trying to get rid of her addictions. The smoking and drinking are indeed quite expensive, but we're trying to manage them, and they won't be a problem for long. I won't edit the entire text, but please do take this edit seriously. I was just pissed, and despite how hard things can be with him, I still love my brother with all my heart. We're all doing our best to support him and it is working so far. Last, I'd like everyone to consider this as someone testifying to the hardships of the life with a disabled kid. He isn't a threat to my life, nor is he a threat to anyone else's. As you can see, we control the situation, and will keep doing so, even if it takes jiu-jitsu training. This isn't a cry for help, just an annoyed teenager who's tired of this shit. Thank you for reading this, and be kind to everyone, even kids who throw demon-level tantrums over Roblox coins. I promise everyone, including myself and the kid, will be fine, and that everything is under control, thanks to the medical staff and awesome treatments they're providing. There's a lot of improvement to make, but once we get there, I'll be sure to tell you all. Have a good day!" Just commenting this before any bullying/misunderstanding may happen.
The first story is... heartbreaking. OP is stuck with a mom who has... issues. Her half bro has a lot of things beyond his control. And their support structure is broken.
@@gaddemnsoxy With the story that implies they have little spending money on things outside of living expenses, odds are they couldn't even afford the money to actually get behavioral help for the kid.

HUGE kudos to the Mum of the EK in that last story - I was honestly expecting a 'my precious baby got hurt by your vicious pet - GIVE ME YOUR PET BECAUSE IT'S COMPENSATION!" But no - lo and behold and hallelujah; THIS Mum teaches her kid that there are CONSEQUENCES TO DOING SH*T!! Go Mum! ;)

I actually liked my summer job cause I helped around a place where it was basically a home for war vets, some were in Vietnam, Afghan, and even Korea. The pay was decent for a summer job but at least it was enjoyable
I half expected the mom at the end to flip out for “allowing that monstrous hedgehog… thing to hurt my precious baby boy” after all the strikes I’ve heard. Thank god it was a nice, humble mother.
This poor girl is so grown for such a young age. I feel sorry for her but at the same time very proud of her for having such a good head on her shoulders.
“He isn’t a spoiled child” He literally tried to stab you over virtual money Edit: For those people that are saying he’s just a child, I really can’t agree that much I mean sure he held off on wanting robux for a bit but when his family were struggling with financial problems he whined about robux and stole money, not to mention he tried to stab op multiple times
So what i understood from the first story is that the kid's GF liked him because of his clothing or avatar which probably costed robux. When the GF realizes that he didnt have enough, she tells him that she doesnt like him for being poor, and the kid just goes crazy. Its like a gold digger straight up manipulated a kid.
i liked that last story. the EK wasn't really entitled or even that bratty, he just didn't really know any better and kids do rebel just to get what they want. props to the mother who KNEW what happened and NEVER got mad at OP for what happened. more like a wholesome moral story for kids to learn that if someone warns you about something, especially with animals, believe them, even if they do it just to keep the animal to themselves. it's best to just look than touch an animal that could leave marks on you
I feel like the moral of the last story is a classic. Always ask if you can pet someones pet before you attempt to do so. If they say no, then don't try to touch the animal.

@@melonsquirrel7389 obviously not? I don't know why you even felt the need to say that. I also have ADHD and social anxiety disorder, and neither of those are an excuse for the way this kid acted. 12:59 He is a part of the "Give me money" stereotypes, so in a sense, yes. Oh, and Roblox is for people of all ages, but mostly for kids. And, they banned Pewdiepie for swearing on stream, not in the game, he didn't do a filter bypass, no. He just said a swear word on stream, and boom, instant ban. And for the peeps wondering about Roblox's moderation, it's as bad as RUclips's moderation. Trust me, they will ban people for a link on a google image to 3D-model some cookies on a plate, something HE couldn't control, yet they won't ban people who exploit, put 18+ content in it, filter bypass, etc. You get the point. And at least they are good stereotypes. But then there are Hat Stereotypes. The Valkyrie hats are a sad one, Good hat, worn by snobby people. Dominus hats, for the much expensive ones, (which mind you, some of the cheapest Dominus' are more then 1M Robux) are generally chill people. They know they have the most expensive item on roblox, and (MOST of the time, mind you, MOST) they won't flex it. But for the less expensive ones, they are the usual Douche. They will legit say to some people with free accessories: "My hat is worth more then your whole account!" I feel like i should stop. Have a good day -An OG on rSLASH :)

The antipsychotics are more likely for the autism, as it's a common treatment for autistic people who experience violent episodes due to it, or just are really hard to manage. It sedates them a bit, and can help with emotional regulation, and it's not often taken every morning, more as + when needed A more common treatment for ADHD are stimulants + antidepressants
Old neighbour of mine had 60 sheep, 10 pigs, 15 birds, 4 dogs, about 8 chickens, 2 horses, a guinea pig, a snake, 4 lizards, 4 alpacas and a rescue joey (baby kangaroo). What's your point?
I feel so bad for the sister in the first story. I'm the eldest of four at 27, my youngest brother is just 18. Orphaned as of 2018, and it is so difficult to try to set the example and deal with my own pain and Multiple Sclerosis and mental issues and to try to set a good example and get them to help, and do the right thing. I know my pain, I don't want to imagine his at so young. He doesn't have the same kinds of medical issues, at all, but I do think he is incredibly depressed as well. At least hearing that one made me feel a little bit less alone in this world. I hope things worked out for them, and hopefully it got a bit better!
As a French student, the new programs are fucking shit. I have the chance to don't have to deal with it but, when I see some of my younger friends, I'm like "wtf is that". The education system in France is just a big joke.
12:58 to answer that question: hell no. Normal people usually bypass the chat with curse words and crap like that but they don't try to murder people, jesus christ. There's also a thing called 'premium' on Roblox, and if you get it, you get monthly robux. I'm a premium member, and I get 450 robux per month just for being a member. The cheapest option is like 5$ per month I believe. I'd say the closest thing you get to this kid are the people on Ninja Legends pretending to be disabled so you'll give them stuff.
No my dad used to get really angry if someone called me a noon so really it was a defense more than a ban. Then earlier this year my girlfriend accidentally deleted my account because she thought it was a alternate account.
I have ADHD and Asperger's. After that attack by the kid DO NOT LET HIM GO TO THE COMPUTER, you just awarded that behavior by doing so. You need to teach him that things will get worse and not just end in my opinion. Also it seems to me that the people of Roblox is somehow influencing this behavior (even if they don't mean to) so no more of that game until he's able to better make his own decisions (a few years at least). When I was a kid I would always test out the limits of other people and usually stop when I found out things would get very bad for me.
The boy is also on anti-psychotic meds, I'd say he needs to be re-evaluated as while they can (barely apparently) physically control him currently they won't be able to for long and he is clearly dangerous in his rages.
outright banning things is very rarely an effective measure, it just makes kids get creative in hiding things. Temporarily preventing access on the other hand can be useful for showing that actions have consequences, though this case CLEARLY needs more than just that. The mother clearly needs help because she's not exactly showing herself to be fantastic at handling the situation, the child 100% needs to be seeing a professional about this behaviour and the OP of the story needs to ensure she has a more effective safe space (potentially also try to offer a bit of support to the mum, but obviously with studying that can't be fully expected)
Ben Jiro .... That’s what I was thinking. I believe he may need to be at least doing some daytime visiting at a facility that can help him understand a few things mentally. I don’t think it was a great idea to introduce him to games where he doesn’t have the mental capabilities to understand that killing people he doesn’t like in a game is not the same as killing people in real life. Obviously the mother would have more money if she didn’t drink or smoke cigarettes....but living in the hell like that I can imagine it’s the only way she stays sane and doesn’t kill herself or walk out. I think OP is being very naïve if she thinks that her brother is going to grasp an understanding of the fact that they are poor and don’t have money...so he can’t spend it in a computer game. I don’t think he’s going to ever understand that fact. I don’t think he’s mentally capable of understanding it. At least not until he’s much older and without some psychological help.
I also have Asperger's. When I grew up I had limited access to the computer or even game consoles (it was called privilege time, usually a couple hours a day on weekends), if I was bad I would lose that time, that is the kind of thing that helps kids learn.
As a Roblox Moderator for a Group with 70k+ members, I can say that these children aren't common, nor of the legendary rarity... they're just common sometimes and then not.
As the writer of the hedgehog story, I can confirm that he isn’t as hellish as the other kids on this sub. He just wants what he wants when he wants it, as most kids do, but a little bit of discipline sets him straight.
Just a kid who doesn't understand consequences yet, and who doesn't understand that any sort of pet WOULDN'T want to be petted. God knows my dogs don't care if they're sleeping or not if you decide to rub their bellies.
“Remember, he’s 8 but he has Tourette’s” That’s not how Tourette’s works. It doesn’t make you more likely to use swear words in every day language; it makes you involuntarily say or do something randomly. Having Tourette’s does not explain or excuse him telling his mother to fuck off or calling his grandparents cunts in this conversation because he did it on purpose.
I thought this as well. Tourettes doesn’t make you automatically swear more. It sometimes does but it causes random “tics”. It kinda annoys me when some says “they have Tourette’s so it’s ok”. Although. If they can’t help it. Fair enough, it is difficult.
It would have been random indeed. So either it happened to have Very On Point timing. or he learned the words from someone else. Maybe the narrator or their mother. a very Sudden explosion of it Could be linked to Asperger's, But its not likely (trust me, i know. I'd rather not get into it) I think he may have learned the behavior from somewhere. but, if i am being honest? i think he learned it from watching a kid at school with their parent
Lol i have a friend who does have Touretts's his thing is a sort of sharp short inhale. He admitted to me a few years back that, from grade 3-5 he would randomly swear in class after he found out some people with touretts swear and he thought it was hilarious.
Being an Aspie, I have to say that having access to the computer after this except after a serious cooling off period? Yeah, that's rewarding him. Autistic people, when they lose it, tend to revert to a temporary feral state. It's good for fight or flight situations, but nothing else. Honestly the best thing to do is put that computer behind lock and key. Also, make sure he's not spending the robux on loot boxes. If he is, that is creating an addiction that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.
On that kid story: O.P. should check those messages again, it sounds like her brother is open to manipulation and someone might be taking advantage of that. Bad enough that he has impulse control due to issues made obvious in the post, but he is starting into that period of his life where he will want to impress... especially a 'girl*.' Might even be something innocent such as his friends not even realize what they have done with their comments, though given how one walked away because he 'ran out of money....' *I always assume male pretending to be female, it is the internet!
Ironically the two female friends I know irl play MMOs and even they find those tactics pathetic (one said pathetic, the other said: "they need to be purged by fire" XD). Anytime we see someone begging for money we tell them to go into dangerous areas and fight impossible odds with the condition that a kill means they get gear; if they use the stupid noob tactics then we give them gear, if they play like someone experienced we tp back to town and leave them stranded. Good, clean, slightly twisted fun
Not every female on the internet is a faker, even if the rules of the Internet say that's the case. I have plenty of actual female online friends. The "rules of the internet" are mostly bullshit, except for Rule 34, which I still wish WAS bullshit.

Honestly considering all the things that first kid was diagnosed with I wouldn’t call him entitled, he’s dealing with a lot of BS that’s out of his control and in an environment that doesn’t seem conducive to helping him properly deal. I feel bad for him and the sister hopefully things get better.
This doesn't excuse his behavior. Because honestly it sounds like they were trying as hard as they could and he was doing relatively fine until Roblox. I'm sorry. It's just not an excuse. He is acting entitled.
For neurodivergent child (especially ones with that many afflictions) it is very easy for them to develop obsessions and addictions that totally cloud their judgement. Its very likely that he has the knowledge that it is irrational to expect his poor family to buy robux, but his emotional regulation isn’t consistently strong enough to allow him the time to rationalize that.

OP here! I believe he is around 7-8 years old, and I definitely wouldn’t consider him a hellspawn, he’s a cool kid. According to his mom he tends to do stuff like this every now and then when he really wants something, but usually learns his lesson when he gets hurt/punished.
My sister also has ADHD, Asperger's, and a mild form of Tourette's. Literally this story happened to me almost exactly. They DO get very violent and my mother is disabled herself so if it ever got physical I had to jump in quick or she would just keep beating my mother. This story is fake as shit
The kid in the first story clearly isn't entitled, he's a kid who is screaming for professional help. He's being bullied in school, lives is relative poverty, has so many conditions, an alcoholic and nicotine addicted mom and a sister who clearly can't and doesn't know how to deal with it all, on top of that he now thinks that girls (and people in general, i assume) will only like him of he has certain things. It's very sad what that kid is going through and it's even more sad that his family doesn't realise that he need help in France. They provide that in fucking schools there. Wtf man.
That kid in the first story needs to be taken to an institution. If a child tries to attack another with a weapon, that kid's dangerous and needs to be dealt with.
Unfortunately, those places aren't free and aren't cheap. From the sound of it there's no way that mom could possibly afford to have him institutionalized.
Pretty much what ShootingComet said. In my local area, I recently spoke with a friend of mine who is a behavioral specialist for people with autism. One single two hour session costs hundreds of dollars... and if the family can't afford a 500e PC, they sure as heck can't afford an institution or any real dedicated support. It would probably be cheaper, but most support places are non-profit, and especially where I live, the state is constantly looking for ways to cut funding for autism support services, making the services high in demand with little room to take on new cases while also trying to support themselves in a state that wants to bleed them dry. So while there are many who need help, there's a huge amount who won't get it because of these circumstances.
@@shootingcomet082 Well France is a little different, seeing as the mum is a teacher she would have healthcare funded partially by obligatory social security contributions of around 8-13% of the salary depending on the job and approximately 77% of all healthcare is funded by the gov regardless of privately funded health services operating there and 75% of the doctors in the national program give free care as their costs are re-reimbursed by the gov. Basically it means that the kid being institutionalized would cost the mother a hell of a lot less than normal (or in some cases completely FREE) if she got him put in a place that ran under the national program and wasn't privately owned.
@@shootingcomet082 Call the cops, they can help with cases like that. Maybe not directly, but they know places to call and whatnot to help people. Besides, any parent that puts their kid's safety aside because they "can't afford it," is sort of sorry in my eyes.
That’s what adhd autism and Tourette’s do it’s normal for someone with all those to throw a fit like that and say they wanna kill someone they get so angry cus they can’t control their anger like us it’s not his fault and he will not be able to hold back those feelings until he gets older even with professional help

johnnys141 that can be true, especially if they are young but I personally don’t think ROBLOX would have the biggest effect of all things. Playing shooter games at a young, impressionable age is easily not good
Sharkboy 9231 yeah I ask my mom ( maybe every 2-3 months) if I can get some robux if my mom says yes I let her pick which money option (10$ 25$ or 50$ cuz I use gift cards cuz it easy for my mum) and one time she let me get the 25$ dollar one instead of the 10$ beacause I was super good in class and I littearky was sooooooo happy so I made my mums breakfast

What always gets to me is the fact that the children need to see some of their favorite past-time and/or escape taken from them without actually understanding why (I do have a soft spot for kids and seeing them sad always makes me sad in return)
Also I actually believe that the kid in the first story is not too much at fault, he’s 8 and has some cognitive problems and a rough life. Of course he shouldn’t behave like that, but unfortunately we can see that this family has been abandoned by the welfare and their country.
They are making it harder for younger kids to accidentally buy robux, so luckily Roblox is working on stopping this.

Sidenote: the person who made the first post edited it after it was featured. Here's what the edit said:
"Well shit, this post ended up being featured in r/ slash. I've been brought to reddit by his videos, so it's quite the surprised to be noticed by him. Although, I'm not sure I really like the amount of attention this is getting, as I fear people will take this too seriously and get hostile/harmful. I feel like I might need to make a few points, so here it goes:
First, please do keep in mind that this was written in the heat of the moment.
Have a good day!"

Thank you, you are a good man.

And, they banned Pewdiepie for swearing on stream, not in the game, he didn't do a filter bypass, no. He just said a swear word on stream, and boom, instant ban. And for the peeps wondering about Roblox's moderation, it's as bad as RUclips's moderation.
I don’t temper having fits of this severity (fits sure ,but not....actual murder attempts) ,but yeah good point there
outright banning things is very rarely an effective measure, it just makes kids get creative in hiding things.

As the writer of the hedgehog story, I can confirm that he isn’t as hellish as the other kids on this sub. He just wants what he wants when he wants it, as most kids do, but a little bit of discipline sets him straight.

The boy may have been using his tourettes as an excuse a lot, which made OP think that it was like that
It would have been random indeed. So either it happened to have Very On Point timing. or he learned the words from someone else. Maybe the narrator or their mother. a very Sudden explosion of it Could be linked to Asperger's, But its not likely (trust me, i know. I'd rather not get into it)
I think he may have learned the behavior from somewhere.
but, if i am being honest?
i think he learned it from watching a kid at school with their parent
that’s what ADHD does
Lol i have a friend who does have Touretts's his thing is a sort of sharp short inhale. He admitted to me a few years back that, from grade 3-5 he would randomly swear in class after he found out some people with touretts swear and he thought it was hilarious.

My God, how can someone NOT give away their kid at that point?!! I wouldn't have let that keep up...

Bad enough that he has impulse control due to issues made obvious in the post, but he is starting into that period of his life where he will want to impress... especially a 'girl*.' Might even be something innocent such as his friends not even realize what they have done with their comments, though given how one walked away because he 'ran out of money....'
*I always assume male pretending to be female, it is the internet!
Ironically the two female friends I know irl play MMOs and even they find those tactics pathetic (one said pathetic, the other said: "they need to be purged by fire" XD).
