Jim left the band for a short period of time. It was for using the friendly version of the N word almost 2 decades ago, with friends on tour. There was never ill intent and it’s been handled between them. Some drummer from a smaller band that was around them then, blew them up over this when their comeback record came out, using how large cancel culture has become to start waves.
aftermath is probably one of my all time favorite songs, there's just a lot of stuff in that song, not just the feelings. hope they could come to italy one day like architects, currents and the amity affliction (my favourite bands). obviously the new singles are outrageously amazing too.
Heck yeah- loved this interview. He's got such a down to earth affect, I don't know why I always expect harsh vocalists to be psychotic savages IRL. Lol. P.S. I don't know if you take suggestions for reacts, but Lightworker is a real sleeper that could use a boost. "First Light" is some of the hardest, melt-your-face-off vocals I've ever heard in a metalcore band, and the guitar work is angel fire. Hardcore peak Phinehas vibes. Just an FYI.
