Bryans attention to the crowd is amazing. no matter the crowd he gives it 1000% and guides them through the show in such a way that even if you absolutely hated hardcore you would still appreciate this man's and band's dedication to just doing a great job at doing what they love and consistently improving with every release.
100% I don't hate hardcore, but it isn't my favorite. Knocked Loose is the first and only hardcore band who's set I will always attend at any festival! I so love the energy! Not just theirs, but their fans too. And it makes me giddy every time ;}
I watched this one live performance by them and there was this dude in the front row belting his face off to every song, at one point Bryan grabbed the back of his head and they just screamed in each other's faces with the mic between them for a few seconds. If that was me that would've made my decade lmao
I am 25:08 minutes in and I have never been so...hypnotized by 3 dudes talking at a restaurant! Haha great job fellas. I'm looking forward to the rest of the episode. P.s. 3 very handsome dudes
When I heard them mention it a while back I was pumped but then I forgot about it and then boom it drops outa nowhere! What a pleasant surprise, some might say a sweet treat as good as a warm slice of apple pie…
I remember finding Laugh Tracks at a bargain bin for a dollar a couple of months after it was released, bought it and listened to it and immediately fell in love! So crazy to see how big they've gotten!
Never made the connection until now. Bryan is like the hardcore version of Mr Beast. His speaking voice is unlike his performing voice. What a bunch of chill dudes. Love Bryan.
That In The Walls story is so sick! P.T. is hands down the scariest game and that was just a demo pretty much! That audio clip definitely fits the guitar part so well!
I didn’t even like modern metal or metal core or break downs or hardcore until I saw i Knocked Loose on that Gojira tour! Since then, it’s been a major bonding experience for my 18 year old son and myself. Thanks for that❤️❤️❤️
I feel like my mom was the same way. She likes the classics in metal, and a lot of modern metal bands like Five Finger Death Punch (early), In This Moment(early), stuff like that, and she's big into punk rock, but never really seemed too much into the core stuff I was listening to. She tolerated it but wasn't really into it until I got her listening to Knocked Loose somehow and she loved it. Then she started hearing more bands on SXM Liquid Metal and one of her new favorites is Slaughter to Prevail, a deathcore band. I was dumbfounded when she said she loves "this song" I was just like "huh? where did that come from?" She loves Bodysnatcher now, and came with me 2.5 hours to see Tallah and ended up buying a shirt of their opener Enox. Similar story with my dad, although he was always pretty into it from the start. Didn't seem to love it, but it was a kind of "yea this is pretty cool" attitude.
I live in Louisville and I really appreciate how much the KL members care for the city, I have hung around Kevin at the bar he co-owns many times and he's probably the most genuine guy in music I've ever met, we always trade music recommendations. I see him and Isaac at hardcore shows all the time and I think the city really owes them for helping it grow as its getting bigger at a rapid rate. I believe I've seen all my favorite modern bands at least once in the past year here haha
The zero hesitation by Bo naming “I wanna dance with somebody” by Whitney as the best pop song of all time was great and Bryan and Colin agreeing and discussing it killed me 😄
I met Bryan a couple times years ago and he seems tonhave changed so much. When i talked to him he used to have alot of turrets ticks. Hes seems so much more relaxed lately.
The hometown aspect of the episodes really fit the vibe, you can feel the pride coming Bryan when he talks about anything where he came from. I think more of these would be just as good as the regular episodes! Job well done boys! 🫡
This is an incredible look at both Bryan as a person and how Knocked Loose got to where they are today - beautifully done! Side note because I thought it was funny, halfway through the scary story video, I somehow convinced myself that Bryan was Ally Beardsley and that got a good chuckle. I'm unbelievably high so that might be a part of it.
driven through la grange a few times, finally stopped in Louisville when the tear in the fabric of life debut set was put on; I loved the feel of the city and the food places were dope.
Everytime i see Colin and Bo, they just remind me of the two old Guys from the Muppet Show back in the Day, sittin on their balcony. They put a smile on my face and i love to watch them. Really knowledgable and lovable guys! HardLore please do a Golden Girls Spin Off Series with those two and, Geez i dunno there are too many other cool peeps to choose from.
I remember hearing and seeing Knocked Loose for the first time at a FYS Holiday show at The Palladium way back and it was insane. I gotta get back to some shows
I can only assume Colin was referring to The Palladium in Worcester when Knocked Loose sold downstairs? If so, top 5 shows I’ve seen in The Palladium over the past 20 years. Incredible!
I see what Bryan was saying about catering to a crowd. I’ve seen them tons of times at smaller venues around Cleveland. But recently I saw them at Adjacent Fest and it was almost a completely different band. More crowd work and not the performance that I’m use to.
Yeah man they really got that whole crowd into them at Adjacent. I've seen them in Philly, Camden, and Lancaster 5x before that set with the Camden NJ date being a massive venue/crowd as well and they definitely know how to adapt very well to the type of crowds they're playing for. Turnstile is similar in that sense. No surprise they're probably the two biggest bands related to hc right now
Crazy he mentions Wake the Dead era Comeback Kid, because first time I heard Knocked Loose I thought he sounded just like Scott Wade. Which then also found it funny to see people complain about his vocals early in their career but also like Comeback Kid.
I’m good friends with Bryan’s dad he’s indeed a very cool dude. He’s super proud of all his boys and their accomplishments they have achieved He’s also a beast at poker 🤙🏻
How could anyone not like Bryan? He seems like such a cool and down to earth dude.

Bo watching Bryan order for them is a thing of beauty
The boys are heading to Flavortown on this roadtrip. It's all right here on diners, drive ins, and hardlore.
This was one of the coolest episodes. Like this style a bunch, should visit peoples home towns more often and just go out to eat
AGREED
After hearing the Master's Degree story, hearing Bryan's confidence drown out while telling the "Tom Cruise went to prom with..." story was hilarious.
