This really takes me back to holiday break in 2017 when I left all my gaming kit at college so I could go be with my parents for awhile. Only “gaming” I could do was on my HP Pavilion 17 that had a dual-core i7 and the HD graphics onboard. I managed to start a New Vegas run and connect it to my 1360X768 TV and proceeded to have a blast with an old wired 360 controller. Love, how those igpu solutions are still performing, comparing that to what we had around 15 - 20 years ago as "onboard" gpu solutions... but heck, we had the geforce 6100 onboard, the HD3100, the intel GMA 950, for some time, they gave us some joy, at least with older games
and today... there are more options, that has more performance (for every budget, there is a viable choice) and more games to chose to play, from the past 40+ years (Steam has a huge library, and others too,. and not to think of emulation).
And that is actually a good thing (if you wonder, i recommend, looking into linux, it's worth it nowadays, especially for somer older and/or slower pc's).

I bought a mini pc with i5 7500T for cheap, to setup an emulation box. The HD 630 graphics at 720p are actually pretty capable for a lot of non-AAA titles. Unreal engine 4 titles are playable. I'm even running switch emulation at full speed.
It's critical to get two sticks of ram running dual channel, as that doubles the bandwidth for the igpu. (+10-20% fps) Also make sure that Windows is hard-outputting 720p rather than scaling to your target resolution.

Rather than trying to use the HD 630 for gaming, it does a lot better as the basis of a media server. The difference in transcoding between the HD 530 in 6th Gen and 630 on 7th Gen is that the 530 will only do up to h264 and SDR at best, where the 630 can do x265/HEVC and 10-bit HDR. Of course, the newer Arc cards are transcode champions with AV1 support as well, but that's only a marginal improvement right now (besides the Arc GPUs will only really justify themselves through the many video streams you can use all at once)

The UHD 630 is best fit for Quicksync stuff. Helps quite a bit. Even in Premiere Pro.
As for gaming, there's almost no point trying these new games, plenty of great stuff from the past, like Sacred, Dragon Age Origins, Witcher etc. They should run half-decently I think.
The 7700K will run at 5GHz quite easily, especially if you delid it, and it will stay cool too, in the 50s-70s in full usage, depending on ambient and case. Still, more than a 3060 for it is overkill.

yeah with a GPU it would still be a great Gaming PC, adding a GTX1060/1660Ti or RX580/5600XT you would be able to play so many great games at at least 1080p/60fps

I have a Huawei Matebook D laptop with the 15 watt version of the Ryzen 2500U with integrated Vega 8 graphics I purchased at Walmart in 2018 for $400. Despite its budget price, this laptop actually came with dual channel memory which is optimal for the Vega 8. Vega 8 integrated graphics were much better than the HD 630 integrated graphics I had before in another laptop.

Only 2 games that I couldn't launch are Talos 2 & Last of Us Part 1 (says that I don't have dx12 although it has 12.1 hardware level). It runs Asscreed Origins/Odyssey, Baldurs Gate 3, Metro Exodus, Syberia 4 (heavy Unity crap), Jagged Alliance 3, Control, KCD, Mafia Definitive, SotTR, RotTR, NFS Heat, RDR2, Subnautica (heavy Unity crap), Witcher 3 next-gen, Detroit Became Human, Martha is Dead etc. Also, there is this frame-interp tool LSFG, maybe could be useful.
