I've missed your hair videos soo much! Can you do some more updated videos on ayurvedic treatments including fenugreek, henna, cassia, etc? I'm thinking about using henna or cassia teas but I'm not sure if I should use them as a leave in or as weekly/bi-weekly tea rinses. Would it be equally as effective?

Mimi Devier I think that it was to minimize breakage before washing it, the clay mask is really cleansing and can be drying

Are protective styles really protective?
It all depends
Detail answer please
If it's a protective style such as really heavy or tight braids that put tension on your hair and scalp then I would say no because yes it may be protecting your ends but its pulling hair out of your scalp and causing irritation. Wigs can be protective as long as you're not neglecting your hair and edges. So when getting protective styles make sure it's a stylist that's not to ruff with detangling blow drying and braiding. And when getting your hair done for a protective style definitely deep condition and maybe protein treatment if you're high porosity since you're going to be going a while without moisturizing your full head. And a thing I like to do when my braids start to get old is put oil and leave in conditioner on my scalp

Hey Lisa, no my hair is same, as it gets longer is behaves a different. I would definitely notice if it was thinner to the impact it would have on styling.
Its not thinner, just stretched out so it appears to have less volume

Love this! Currently doing a hot oil treatment 😬I agree with mostly everyone on here...a detailed detangling video would be nice. BUT lol I’d like to see a week of your hair from wash day to wash day.
I have low porosity 4c and 4b thin strands but high density considering doing a clay mask how often do you do them and can a hot oil treatment be completed after as my hair does not need additional protein

Hi Kay, no.... I had just finished combing it out post take down the night before. Washing while it braids did well in keeping the scalp and hair clean

I left mine to dry out naturally so maybe 30 to 40 minutes
