@@GiooKills bro get a 435i, the q was fun and powerful especially with downpipes , but the 435 is a neck breaker if you get a m4 spoiler and some nice wheels and it handles SOO much better than the q50, and plus that n55 with downpipes and charge pipe and intakes is a rocket

Hi i have a bmw 4 series gran coupe 2017 420d. My ambient lighting inside doesnt work at all. How can i make it work. It looks like it has lights but doesn't work?
I have a 2014 435i with the M performance kit and it has all of these features active. Is it only the models with the M appearance package that doesn’t have these features active?

@@NotRudyy you need an obd2 adapter and bimmercode, then you have to tamper with the lighting codes. it's a process but definitely worth it!

Great stuff … how do you change the sport display to chance HP to reflect how many HP you have?
After 2 years of driving my 440 I just realize you can code the trunk the close with the fob. This used to drive me CRAZY!

Its electric to close you push a button. But without coding it you can, for example, hit the open trunk button on your fob by accident and will have to go walk to your car to close the trunk. Once I coded it I can open it AND close it with my key fob.@@jenssnoeckpieters
if you hold the lock button, it does fold without coding it.

Yea I was going to say my 2016 428i doesn’t do that , but it does roll the windows down if you hold unlock which is cool

Can you code it to not turn off traction control in sport plus?
I don't think so but not sure if that's necessary. I believe the only difference between sport and sport plus is it turns off a portion of traction control. Otherwise, they're the same

Please note that BMW vehicles are affectionately referred to as a "Bimmer" ... not a "Beemer" ... and ... the name of the company that offers coding services for "Bimmers" is named BimmerCode ... not "BeemerCode"! I, myself, was educated toward this silly interesting tidbit of info when I bought my first Bimmer in1971! It was a 2002Tii ... one of the sweetest and purest of Bimmers ever made! Wish I would have been smart enough and wealthy enough back then to have kept it!

This applies to pretty much every F generation. Some features within may vary tho depending on your trim and packages

@@ayyyman_ Pay twice as much just to have it depreciate 50% in 5 years. Non-M cars can match if not exceed M car performance with little work and for far less.
does bimmercode void the warranty?
BimmerCode is only a way of unlocking features already in the car, not adding anything aftermarket. Personally my warranty already expired so I can't say for sure. But from what I've read online, you should be safe. You can always double check with your maintenance person at the dealership.
