Thanks again for documenting your awesome project. The gas shocks usually have an oil in them that dampens the end of the stroke. But they have to be very close to closed to reset the oil back across the shock. A fingers width may be too much

I think you should install your gas struts the other way round with the cylinder up and the rod down so the seal around the rod is permanently lubed…

Don't those struts work better when installed with the thin part of the rod at the bottom instead of the top so they can self lubricate better? Probably not a big deal but I have to say, again, amazing work on everything you touch!!!

Hey Oscar, how did you cut the frame profile at 45deg? By Hand?

I cut almost all alu profiles with my 12" shop saw. Thank you for asking !
