Hi just seen this video...the iron grunt is there because u ran the disc in all metal and what u can hear is the ground feedback....press the horseshoe to cycle through the disc modes ...I'd recommend on G for ground this will only knock out the ground ....also set your tone break to 7-8
I`m hearing very good things about the just released update on these. I can`t afford this but would one day like to find a discounted Simplex. I have a Vanquish 340 I got for 170 on a damaged box deal. I`m really excited and can`t wait to spend some time testing it in the nearby woods, fields, old gardens, and along the creek after I move in the coming weeks. I believe using headphones the Simplex or the Legend can mop up on deep silver coins in old yards and school grounds.
Loving the new update and more to come very exciting. The build quality of the Legend is 3 times better than My Nox Leakage & Coil issues from the beginning with the Nox. After 25 hours of Hunting with the Legend I'm convinced!!! I'm retiring the Nox as a backup
Thanks for the video, I've been struggling a bit with my Legend but you've given me a boost and I will keep working on getting it tuned in.
As much as everyone is getting into the multi frequency of these they go deeper and hit more target's in single frequency mode.
I am glad you gave the Legend a proper test with the update. I love my Legend and couldn't understand your initial hatred but the older software versions were pretty bad. I recently upgraded from 1,09 which I loved to 1.11 and I am not sure 1.11 is any better but still testing. I think one thing about the Legend that a lot of folks overlook is how rugged and waterproof the unit is. In my opinion it may be the toughest machine I've owned. Thanks for taking another look at the machine.

great vid is the legend 1.09 any good? would it be better than my minelab 340?
Firstly used the legend on .05 was very happy. Then 06 , the least I say about that the better , what a mess and now .07 which is a better version of .05. I’ve also been very surprised with the small item pulled up at depth. Plenty of updates are flooding in hopefully make it even better. Great value for money all the same

@addictedtobleeps I'm looking into a new detector. Would you recommend going with the legend or the garrett AT pro? my brother recommends the garrett but it's a pretty old machine in my opinion.

Was that part of a roman spoon? Good to get an honest review. I have the legend but I'm no expert and need to put a lot more hours in to get to know it well. As you say time will tell but I'm finding more stuff now which is what we want. Always enjoy watching your videos. Keep putting them out

You hit the nail on the head giving a good review to get free machines is out of order.. But nokta do tend to listen to customers and improve better than most

No, but they get machines for free and will continue to do so to get free machines in the future from the brand IF they make favourable reviews.
As this is roughly in the same price range as the Q60 would you say it’s better or the same as the legend ???
Old video, we have update 1.14 now and the Legend is one of the top four machines in my opinion!!
i recently upgraded to the legend from a garret 300i [ enough said], to be honest i wasnt too impressed from the start a bit erratic and noisy but after updating to version 9 the legend has settled down and its much more stable and reliable ive just pulled out a hammered henry III quarter from 6 inches and now im loving it its a good bit of kit for the price

After watching a few of your videos on the subject ( I'm an old subscriber from way back when ) and having already got a Vanquish 440 with the V12 coil , I've pushed the boat out and purchased a Quest Q30 but with also the Beast - X coil 😀

Great little unbiased review from a seasoned nox user , I was also less than impressed when I first got mine thought it was our Kentish soil lol latest update has done wonders

For your ground have a try with other coils that's the key. Stock well? Hint hint.

Sure, it needed (and Quickly received) an Update.. Gripes weren’t unjustified But, To make such a statement like that and choose its use as a Thumbnail in Today’s World of Low information Sheep? Well, Ouch….(Some even Wore Masks in their Cars!😂).. Regardless, I did follow the Production to the end and agree with a lot of your findings in the final Summarization .. 🤙🏻

I dont know? Staying with Eurotek Pro with Mars Tiger coil on it. I'm more of a deep coin hunter and I know what ETP is telling me. I had simplex dig it all for awhile,,went back to ETP. I'm thinking this is a dig all machine, which is fine if I had more time on quick hunts,,but most occasions i need more accuracy because of time restraints.
Well looks like the Nokta Legend found plenty if you ask me....
BTW more expensive doesn't always mean better quality

I bought the rutus Atrex, and it is phenomenal on hammereds. Rutus have made a cracking machine. The legend I think isn't as good.

I would like to see it compared to the Nox 800. Find targets with the Legend and check with the Nox. I have found that Field 2 and recovery 4-6 is the best on the Nox particularly with difficult soil. It should be possible to set up the legend in a comparable way to the Nox because the Legend is aimed at the Nox market and has similar settings. 👍

Not anymore anyhow. The update they released cleaned up the problems it had AS MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO.
(Still worth asking the Grim Bleepers opinion on it though)

@@Addictedtobleeps I've decided on a nox 800 for next detector, i know its expensive but i think fingers crossed it won't miss deeper hammered size objects. With q30 all thin hammered seem to be no deeper than 4 inch.
I'm very disappointed with legend, it detects a gold wire in the field with 11 signals, how do you find gold, please tell me that wire was fake!

Hi, Jerry! Coke is old coal, which was used a lot in the old tractors. It's really conductive, and sometimes hits that gold range.

007 Roger Moore said it perfectly "all those feathers and he still can't fly". At $635 the Legend is still fooled by pulltabs, tinfoil and bottle caps, I'll stick with the Simplex for only $254.
Uma coisa posso dizer do legend, ele vai fundo ,e encontra objectos bem minúsculos ,e quato a bateria, dura bem mais que uma hora ,eu já vou sensivelmente em 5 e não estou nada preocupado para mais uma saída.
Vc então não faz ideia dos objetos que pega o equinox. Passei um berloque de 0,3gr de ouro branco e no Legend não pegou...só sem discriminar o ferro, pois ele tem o problema de não acusar objetos no 11 com o ferro discriminado. Também como profundidade é a mesma coisa do equinox, talvez mais o da minelab. Custa quase 3000 reais mais do que o equinox 800...a única vantagem é que até agora não tem relatos de infiltrações. Mas quem sabe, já vi 3 aparelhos XP Deus II alagados...Só o tempo vai dizer. EM termos de achados não compensa o The Legend (como não compensava o simplex+ em relação ao Vanquish)

@@SandBoy408 Foi uma forma de falar, o que queria dizer é que não existe um detector perfeito ,eu estou contente com o legend, apesar de que é um pouco pesado com a bobine grande ,mas como adquiri o propack tenho a pequena e é com ela que tenho encontrado todas as moedas e afins , porque na verdade é táo boa como qualquer uma outra , eu acredito que o equinox é sim uma boa máquina, pois era uma segunda escolha minha ,já ouvi também falar bem da marca xp , mas é como digo ,não existe um detector perfeito ,cada um tem as suas categorias ,agora o legend é um bom detector, não desclassificado todos os outros .bons achados para ti ,e para mim também!! 😄😄
Judging by the small stuff you're pulling out I'm guessing you were in MF2?
I was pulling out small stuff in multi frequency 1, pretty sure thats what i had it on

After your first review it put me off buying the legend as upgrade from my simplex. I did however stop myself from buying anything until it has been tested without the nox 800 bias that most have and the teething problems sorted. You are right to say that those who only use nokta makro simplex/legend are not going to say it's rubbish even after testing it. Keeping my simplex for now and will look out for more of your honest opinion after you have played with all the settings . Great stuff .
Well said d Jones,I have used the Simplex + for 2 years and was looking to the Legend as the next step,the Simplex + has been outstanding for me both in the field and on the coastline,I think I'll wait a bit longer to see how the Legend works out

Like i said before, yours must of had a fault when you got it, im absolutely lovin the legend a 20 acre site that me and a mate have hammerd to death, one side the land is mega infested with iron so soon as i got legend that was the place for me to test and the amount of stuff i pulled up that had iron in the hole was amazing, i can not fault the machine one bit, its built solid like all nokta products unlike the cheese nox that feels so cheap in the hand and not to mention the volume of snapped coils and arm cuffs for a high priced and high end machine minelab

I feel the other way. Not keen on the plastic box of the Legend much. It’s literally a lump of plastic.
At least the Nox is galvanised rubber. Also, the design of the Legend is just a Nox rip. C’mon. It’s obvious.
As for the other stuff, I can’t agree. But I am going back to my theory of mineralisation in our soil here, as I know many people who have had the same problems. One, in this comment section.
Love the stem though and the locking nuts feel solid.
We all have our opinions 🤣 ever owned a simplex, you will find the legend is in a simplex case, we should do a test by dropping a nox at a hight of 4 foot and legend out of a plane i bet now only one will work and it wont be the nox

I'm inclined towards patiently waiting for all the up-dates that, in my op, ought to have come as standard to be tested, properly, before perhaps buying....What a way to gub a thing eh Kris.
