Saguaro National Park, Arizona, USA [Amazing Places 4K]

- The Saguaro National Park, nearby the city of Tucson, Arizona, protects part of the Sonoran Desert landscapes, fauna and flora, including the giant saguaro cactus. The giant saguaro is a symbol of the American west, it may live as long as 200 years and may grow up to 60 feet (18 m). The giant saguaro grows extremely slow, its first arm appears when it is between 50 and 100 years old. The park has two sections, both shown in the video - the Tucson Mountain District (west) and the Rincon Mountain District (east).

Lived in Tucson for 12 years, and visited this national park many times. There is nothing quite like having a landscape like this in your own backyard, I miss it everyday ❤️

I got tears in my eyes watching this video. I lived there for a short while and love the desert. You should go back again after the rains, when all these cacti are in bloom. That is even more breath taking. Great video. Nice music. Looking forward to next one.

I really understand and appreciate your comment; it's so true! You would have caught your breath at how verdant and carpeted in green the desert floor, hillsides and mountainsides were back in February and early March of this year, together with early wildflowers and then the proper Springtime with the rest of the blooms that followed. It was amazing!

Love this park, drove through then hiked a way, saw group of javelinas rooting around for food and a rattlesnake shaking his tail to warn us to stay well clear which we did, exciting though for an Englishman travelling through this magical landscape that I love.
I love deserts, and this is absolutely stunning. I would be very happy living in Arizona

Out-of-region folk always think the Sonoran Desert looks warm, but right now, it's beautiful, temperate, not cold, not warm, just beautiful! and sunny! I'm looking out my window at our Arizona-blue sky! I have a couple Arizona playlists at my YT page, a huge video tour (organized to follow the map), together with its Tucson section in its own playlist now, and a smaller playlist called "Beautiful Arizona, Scenery for the Soul" that you might enjoy, any time you need a change of scenery! :) Naturally, they also contain this channel's Arizona videos, considering how good they are!

Yeah, I used to live in Tucson, and go hiking in Saguaro National Park. Actually, this scenery is quite typical for the Sonora desert of southeastern Arizona. Nevertheless, it did make me miss Tucson.

Thanks for featuring the interesting giant saguaro. The ones that are 200 years old now were baby plants way back in 1820 ! Nice to hear music with some hard-driving electric guitar with this video. Different music creates different moods. Nice selection here.
