Edit: For those who did not like the retro camera, please don’t think all videos will be filmed like this. The retro video style was something that me and my son were enjoying. For him it was special, sorta like sharing the old ways of life for him. He felt like he was seeing things as I did as a kid. I wont be filming another video in this style 🤷♂️ End

Ive been following you since the beginning. Im disabled and have never been an expert outdoorsman so I enjoy watching you learn and get better at the camping and the video production too. Personally Im an atheist but have no problem with the prayers in fact i find something relaxing listening to them, you and your family are grateful for what you have and for being in this beautiful world and that’s something I relate to very much. Your children are a credit to you and it’s obvious you and your wife are great parents. I hope you continue being able to make these videos and wish you and your family all the best for now and the future.

Pretty awesome you took your son with you, he's at that age now where you need to teach him everything you know about the out doors so when he gets older and has his own family he will take them camping and teach his kid's everything you taught him

Love your videos! Just a tip on cleaning the glass on fireplace: wet the newspaper, dip in the ashes and then wipe glass,wipe again with clean tissue or whatever. My husband owns a Chimney Sweep company and he taught me that. Lol God bless you and your family!❤

I saw how long this video was and told myself there was no way I would watch the whole thing....BUT....I started watching and just couldn't stop! You guys are a hoot to watch and although no video could ever do those views any real justice, they were still mesmerizing and breathtaking! Montana has some beautiful wooded mountains. Your son is a joy to watch. His innocence and appreciation for nature is refreshing. It's great that you guys get to make these memories together. The video was like watching an old movie 😊 But I really don't care which camera you use when you are creating memories with your son. It was entertaining to watch y'all out and about having fun. I kept restarting this video thinking it wasn't playing right 😂😂 then I got a weird "Blair Witch Project" feeling 😮. Looked like another spectacular trip , Kenny. Yay for a long Baum Outdoors video.
I liked the old style filter for a few minutes but not the whole video. It's great for a plot device like storytelling with lost footage or some kind of Halloween scary story.
I also prefer the tripod shots better than filming by hand as it made me a little motion sick.
It was great to see Jaxon join you on this adventure. Fire lookouts are hard to book.
The cooking wasn't up to it's usual level of greatness but the ramen looked delicious. The pizza left a lot to be desired.
Happy you were able to get it warm in the cabin with the wood stash.

We had a lot of fun being creative with this one! Jax was really getting into it too! We were trying to go as light as possible with the food so my next trip I’ll have some better recipes!! The lights are a great addition! Makes storing the lights so much easier. Hope all is well with you!!

Just being up in the middle of nowhere. Loved it. fall is in the air. Just a thought. I was thinking maybe could you have put your Jiffy Pop on top of your little burner on low med heat maybe that would have worked. As little as you ate up there.. as soon as I got down that Hill.. would have stopped at a fast food drive thru.😄 maybe on one of your future camping trips you can take your daughter Lily with you on an adventure. Yes. Wasn't that great! I go back to 33 1/3 rpms and 45s for my old audio. Sunday morning sermon at 6 AM on my local radio station as a kid.

Kenny, when I saw those pictures of the mountain scenes I was just thinking of all the amazing wildlife that must exist in those mountains. Great trip to spend special time with your son. I think the stove's heat must have risen to the high ceiling? Never got above 58 degrees it seemed. The ramen looked tasty. All in all a good trip. God Bless!

Finally got to watch the new video. At first I didn’t like the retro format too much until I had to pause it. Before I started it again I read your pinned comment and how much it meant to your son. It’s amazing how a few words can change someone’s perspective on things. When I restarted the video I imagined watching it thru your son’s eyes and could really see how special it was.
