Another great video! I don't have space for a larger machine so thinking of buying a 4x4. Occasionally though, I see the need to cut large pieces off a 4x8 sheet. I assume I could create a job for half of the sheet and then slide the sheet by 4' and run another job to cut the rest. I am not sure though how to do this is so that the first and second jobs line up. It would be great if you could make a workflow video of Laguna 4x4 doing this.
In this video you seem to be able to vary the feedrate in the same toolpath between the small curve or corner and the big curve or the straight line. How do you do that in Vcarve pro?
It is a nice tool and I would really like to have one for my sign business, but Im afraid I would not know how to make all the settings necessary to make it work properly.
Feel free to call our CNC department at 800.234.1976 - we can discuss more about your needs for your sign business. We can help train also, so our customers become comfortable with their machines.
+Clarence Washington IV Well, it depends on a couple of things. Our machines come in a few sizes, 4X4, 4X8 and 5X10. Don't know how big your warehouse is, but we have 1 customer who has 3 4X4 machines.
My preferred way to set the slot would be to put a caliper on the wood and set my slot .01" wider. I'd make a rectangle and the copy, rotate and weld to the part. You probably have too many screws. Not crazy about the control center being on an angle. No place to put tools or a cup of coffee. I'd also feel lost without a screen displaying the dimensions of my table and showing the parts on it. I like the tools depth gage, all I have is a piece of paper and it gets annoying.

Looks great.
For a small scale guitar builder, would this be a recommended tool?
+Ikenna Ogbonna This or the IQ =)
