How long does it take (on average) to learn how to use one of these? I'm a woodworker by trade and have been wanting to add one of these to my portfolio. Thank You!
It is a very easy system to you use! It is all about the software and it is easy as the machine. Please review this link and reply if you would like to know more! www.vectric.com/downloads/trial-software.html
One thing you didn't show is how to lift the IQ up onto the work bench in a home shop with it being 400+ lb. I don't think just my wife amd I will be lifting this thing up our selfs.
My IQ arrived yesterday, after waiting 6 months for it. It is heavy, heavier than you can believe. I went to United Rentals and rented an engine hoist. I used extremely heavy duty nylon straps, placing the bulk of the weight closest to the hoist itself. I was able to place it neatly on my bench, by myself. I hope this was helpful.
For your water cooling system you should consider using a radiator setup rather than a 5 gallon bucket. For such a nice professional CNC machine with all the bells and whistles it's disappointing. Please look into water cooling for desktop PCs as a guide. They're relatively small and compact and usually feature a 10 x 5 inch sized radiator with a pump that usually doubles as a small reservoir for holding water in a closed system. I've seen these installed on DIY CNC machines with great results.

Thanks so much Router Bob. Extremely helpful to just get some of the basics and get confidence in the initial setup!
