Be respectful to myself and others in the comments. We all have opinions and we don't all have to agree. Some of you might think the Alpha Strike line is the best thing ever.
Alpha Strike here in the Philippines is the best thing we got since either Buzz Bee has slightly higher prices or Zuru with severe price differences with the usual Alpha Strike 499.75 PhP price point.
Thanks for bringing this up it NEEDS to be talked about and i hope Hasbro listens to some of this from some of there long time fans, they need to WAKE UP. As for the alpha series i SWEAR i saw those blasters or ones that looked JUST LIKE THEM in CVS's between 1995-1998 they were CHEAP AF and garbage so either nerf dusted off a really crap line that nobody remembered except old timers like me ( I had the 1991 bow when it was new and i was like 6 years old LOVED IT ) or they used IP from a brand they acquired that use to make crappy nerf knockoffs back in the day either way IT IS DISGRACEFUL
Honestly I have no problem with the alpha line, cheap, an over excessive amount of darts, and like you said in the video, like a dozen jolts (to modify or experiment with). So ya, though I do gotta say, it also bothers me that nerfs blasters are saying the "1# brand" thing, and even though they are the most bought blasters, that doesn't mean they're 1#.
No this can't be happening I can't believe it is not actually going to go down I should name be saying that I want nerf to live to survive People who have this hobby not even a hobbyist you need to do something even if you just use nerf darts do something about this this needs to stop and I know there's a way to make it but I can't do it alone so is it nerf or is it nothing ever The Choice is yours but I know what side I'm on on
Nerf has had a pretty terrible past 18 months. In the past 3 years, the only blasters to catch my eye where the Hades, Perses, Knockout, Evader, and Accutrooper. Every other blaster I've purchased has been their discontinued stuff pre 2015. Everything else I've purchased has been Dart Zone or Buzz Bee. They can't survive by reissuing Doomlands or re-releasing their older blasters like the Stryfe or Retaliatior. Its a shame to see how far the brand is falling.
They did a few good thing, the accutrooper being $30 now is great, the $40 rapidstrikes are great for people like me that weren't in the hobby before they disappeared and stryfes need to always be available and cheap because it's the best entry into the modding hobby.
@@tatsuhirosatou5513 It's a crying shame about half the Accutroopers arriving primed in the box though, they could have prevented that so very easily. As I'm not a modder, it's kept me from picking one up.
@@Jackalblade9 ah I don't own anything nerf brand that stock, I was getting like 55fps from my accutrooper so I removed the ar and put a 7kg spring in it and I'm hitting 105fps.
that and the most recent nerf guns are extremely expensive if i get into nerf there is only 2 blasters ill start with and those are the takedown and the roundhouse because they seem the best for your money
That 1_blu3shyguy I mean, when you cut half of your entire roster (300 or so Pokemon) from the newest title, what ISN’T wrong with you is a better question.
Problems of Nerf/Hasbro: Overpricing: There are so many non nerf guns which perform much better Nothing fresh: Anything is either a"jolt reskin" or some config of a stryfe/Semi auto And trying too hard to sale their stuff
The unamed potato I agree. The guns are also getting real weak. They don’t shoot as good or hard as they used to. And I know they try, but they need more innovative blasters that are not only good, but also attractive, hits hard, and worth an affordable price
Thanhtacles true true. I just wish the blasters can shoot as fast. Heck maybe put a rival battery mod to increase either performance or to get rid of the clunky batteries you load and have to reload when they’re dead.
I agree, overpriced stuff, and lets not forget the retail exclusivities, which really pissed me off, cuz i have a few rare blasters ever since target shut down.
I feel like nerf would be better without hasbro. Hasbro just has dug it into the ground making bad/uncreative blasters just to squeeze every last dollar from the fans. I think that ultra just goes to show that prices are only going up with the whole proprietary ammunition and everything.
I think Hasbro is starting to make some reeeally poor business decisions. They're getting lazy and they've forgotten what made them great in the first place. Kinda like Bethesda... But I digress. Magic: the Gathering is the only thing keeping them afloat right now, and at least that hasn't gone completely to shit... yet.
TheRealSarceus hasbro is working with power rangers now they bought out new saban last year plus hasbro is working hard on transformers and their studio series and war for cybertron siege toylines as well as working a Netflix transformers film they have spent more time on their new things than old things like nerf people are bored of foam darts that’s why airsoft has seen much more nerf was great for a while but it’s truly just lame
Let's do a direct comparison of two blasters that came out about the same time the buzzbee sentinel and the slingfire. The slingfire was a turd with a lever and the sentinel was hailed as the best stock blaster you could buy for years maybe still to this day. And the prices did not reflect this.
@@Ohaffles I think it’s me because I don’t like darts that curve and go 20 feet at 60 FPS :( I’m sorry nerf I like good quality dart launchers I like guns that shoot 100 FPS minimum.
Some of my points: 1.) Sometimes it feels like they are holding back on their designs. For example, the SurgeFire, why does it only have a capacity of 15 when the drum looks like it could hold another 10? That thing came out after the Turbo Advance and Superdrum! The Megaladon with its capacity of 20 Mega darts came out a year after, so there's no reason why they can't give us a higher capacity. 2.) Some of the reshells of their older blasters (such as the Stryfe) have gotten much more expensive for the wrong reasons. When the Stryfe came out in 2013, it was $20. In 2019, the Battlecamo Stryfe is $35 ($40 regular price). Pretty sure the extra useless plastic parts and inflation is not worth an extra $15 to $20.
i agree with you stryfe observation and would add that it is also UGLY i REALLY want a Stryfe but can not BEAR the sight of the battle camo one ESPECIALLY at that price EVERY other version looked better in my opinion and as for you SurgeFire observation you are TOTALLY right they do the same with the Star Wars, Over Watch and Fortnite lines, they are more expensive while being WORSE (in either performance capacity, accessories or functionality ) than the blaster that most resembles them in the usually nerf line that also happens to be cheaper at
i actually own a surgefire and thats a huge overstatement. the dart holes are only like a centimeter apart, and the drum is compact. at most it could hold 20 darts.
@@kippert8912 The Surgefire holds 15. You said at most 20 darts (so 5 more), I said another 10. 10 - 5 = 5. Yes, the difference of 5 is a "Huge" overstatement. Still no reason why they can't do at least 20 darts. Same with the Warden and that new Fortnite blaster. Both are reshells are the Surgefire.
For those of you who are unaware, as far as I know the reason making something weaker is referred to as "Nerfing It", is because of some of the toys nerf originally produced. One of which being a ball that you could throw inside without worrying about breaking things because it was very soft. By saying it was "Nerfed", you're saying it was made squishier or flimsier.
It's videogame terminology. Fortnite debuffed one of their previously OP weapons, and players started comparing using it to a foam nerf bat, because it was made _so_ bad.
Buzzbee/Dartzone have really upped their game in the last couple years by making a ton of much higher quality stuff that's also well designed, while still being affordable. With Nerf not moving forward with their offerings, it's really closed the gap.
The Original N Strike and the Early N Strike Elites were the Best for Nerf, both sides painted, innovative, looks cool, comfy grips, no wasted plastic most the time
True. That time, they didn't even claim about quality or shit. Even if they mentioned the range, they didn't go overboard. Take that, Hasbro with you bullshit Elite XD.
Remember when you could see rhino fires, Mega Magnus’s, Centurions, the Football missile things, jolts, Retaliators, and even pre-elite on occasion? It’s just not the same.
HASBRO makes non accurate darts and so underperforming blasters. I hate bright colors on any nerf blaster because I know it is a toy and not a real firearm
I agree with all of your points Walcom. I want to see some innovation as well. Things we've seen in our 3D printed blasters have been innovative and excellent, and most of these creators aren't engineers who probably dont get paid 90k a year salary. They most definitely have the resources and manpower to be better than they are.
I'm glad to hear your opinions, as they are really valid criticisms. I also enjoy watching your videos in general, as without you, I wouldn't be interested in modding nerf guns and model building. And Gundam. Gundam is a huge thing, along with Mecha in general. Thanks for that, as it's also helped in my drawing.
1. it’s not long 2. this is one of the best videos I’ve watched about Nerf 3. I agree with every point. Keep up the good work you’re not one of my new favorite RUclipsrs
When I was a kid I thought nerf was great but I started noticing more stryfe, jolt, Retaliator, etc re-skins. I was looking for more unique blasters, and in 2020 adventure force gave me the performance, unique, and stylish appearance of the nexus pro or villianator. Thanks to youtubers like you I got informed of which blasters are worth my hard earned cash.
im 100% serios when saying this, this video is really opening my eyes, and really depressing me when thinking about the good old days, when i was like 9 my dad bought me the rapid strike with 2 included 18 dart mags, i got home opened it and fired, i was extatic when more than one dart came out with on pull of the trigger, i yelled to may dad in excitement "ITS FULL AUTO!" its one of my fondest memories, and it makes me sad when i get a new blaster when its lacking features, or has the bare minimum darts. its just sad how they are getting cheap, hell im only 13 and even i get sad about this crap! Nerf get your shit together, i don't care how or why you do it but do it! put it in the shit museum for all I care! JUST GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER NERF!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S thank you for reading this comment if you did.
THIS is a huge problem for Hasbro considering you are their target audience. People can whine about how American Foam, Coop772, LordDraconical, and Walmcom S7 aren't the target. Fair. But you are, and if you are complaining about this stuff, then Hasbro has a real issue here.
There is also buying from anyone else. What any of them have not made thus far is a fully automatic flywheel that fires at 5 darts/second for $30-40 dollars in the rifle form factor.
EXACTLY!! I remember my parents buying me and my brother nerf modulus for christmas and me being so excited because the modulus just came out and i have never seen a blaster that shoots that fast. But now nerf is making blasters that are either JOLT RESKINS or have so bad quality that even a toddler can break it with ease (like the warden) and I hope nerf actually realizes this and becomes a good toy company again.
Same here. What's worse is that when I was at a store recently, and I was showing my parents the adventure force villainator, they were like "but it's not nerf, it's cheap so it must be crap". Also find it depressing to see a once dominant company get absolutely annihilated so badly.
I literally had a video like this on the editing board....but you said all the same things I said. I agree entirely. It's insane how low the brand has come in my opinion
I am not going to lie. I hated your videos when I first started watching you. Over time they have become so much better. I thank you for your opinions on everything you get your hands on. You are a true pleasure to watch.
Hasbro is really getting desperate. The rival series is good. i agree with the anti logobias desire, expense. The icon series sparked hope, but they messed up the magstrike. If they expanded the icon series into vintage era, instead of doing the ultra line, theyd get so much more sales. And yet, i do agree with your hope on the ultra series, but my issue with the ultra one is the trigger guard. Its uncomfortably tight. The paint on the opposite sides/decals is a definite need. The promotion point you made regarding channels and modders is a very agreeable statement. The customizability is as well. On the positives, nailbiter and infinus points are spot on, chronobarrel integration is a desire, auto reload, select fire, yes. The paint-ready stuff is totally a yes from me. In short, i totally agree with you walcom. You spoke for a big community, and thank you so much for speaking up
Walcom: I dont want to talk about rumors Also Walcom: Now, would I like something like say.... and alpha strike stryfe? Absolutely! Alpha Strike Flyte: : )
"Use only official Nerf darts" has been a thing since the beginning of time. I'm not defending it, it's absolutely obsolete, but I distinctly remember my Maverick from like 2003 having the same thing on its packaging. I think it started as a way to shield Hasbro from lawsuits in the case of people modifying their darts and someone getting injured. People used to do some crazy shit; one kid I knew ripped the heads off his darts and super glued fishing weights in place instead, shooting them over 100fps out of a modded blaster. That kind of thing does have the potential to injure someone, especially as back then nobody really wore eye protection or anything. Most of the time nerf wars weren't even organized events, it was just a bunch of kids meeting up in the woods after school to shoot each other. The implicit attack on other brands of darts, however, I don't remember. That's definitely an underhanded tactic and should be removed from the warnings. I'm sure there's soccermom parents who see that and conclude that since Hasbro is an established brand, other foam darts and blasters must be dangerous and sketchy. You can promote the use of only official Nerf darts without an underhanded and unsubstantiated jab at other brands in the process.
I agree with you about the pricing. A while ago in my economics class while we were studying inflation and its effects, I brought up the point of nerf blasters as a real world example. About 10 years ago, you could have gone to Walmart with 75 USD and bought enough nerf blasters and darts to have a grand old time in your living room for a couple of hours with 4 or 5 friends. At this point, 75 USD barely gets you 1 blaster and good off brand darts to reload that blaster, and you aren't even guaranteed to buy a blaster with the Hasbro brand on it. At this point, Hasbro might be better off just selling the Nerf brand to whoever owns dart zone since they make things that we like. Hell, the Ultra line shows that they know how to make darts out of something other than traditional foam, so maybe they could try to make their own version Boomco darts that are compatible with Mattel blasters. Someone like you would probably love that, and it would also show that they accept that they are not the only dart blaster company in the world
we should just have some the modifiers and nerf enthusiasts, then some for the sponsors and the little kids. Unfortunately, that's not happening because money.
A couple thoughts here: First of all, we as hobbyists vastly overestimate the amount of market share that we have. As an adult fan of Lego as well, I know that what we want from the hobby is vastly different than what their primary audience desires. It's estimated that
I think the major difference here between LEGO and Nerf is the difference between a MOC and a mod. To get the parts for a MOC, AFOLs can either use sets they already have, buy bricks from bricklink/ebay, or some combo. LEGO doesn't get a ton of money from people making MOCs because it's just not economical to walk into the LEGO store and buy a bunch of sets just for parts. Ebay/bricklink bulk buying works better. With Nerf, if you mod a Stryfe, you have to buy a new Stryfe every time. That money goes to Hasbro. Coop772 said he literally modded and re-sold hundreds of Stryfes. The Stryfe is about $15.00. One guy gave Hasbro over $1500 for ONE blaster. Also... and I know this is kind of unfair because I have the "advantage" of being in 2020... but the Nexus Pro and Spectrum both went out of stock on Walmart.com in 1 and 6 days, respectively. (The Nexus Pro was back online, and is out again). That's either from amazing word of mouth, or a bunch of modders buying duplicates to mod. It's much more common for dart blasting hobbyists to buy 3-6 copies of a single product than it is for an AFOL to buy the same of a set. There are exactly two LEGO sets I have two of, and they both happened under accidental circumstances. In conclusion, it isn't the sheer number of hobbyists that exist (I'm estimating ~ 100,000)... it's the money they spend. And Nerf modders spend LOTS on blasters, and most of that money goes to Hasbro.
remember N-strike ? When blasters had customization ? When blasters had innovation ? When blasters had quirks ? When blasters were different from eachother ? When blasters were moddable ? When blasters were good ?
Not boring at all. Many, many of us fully agree. We’ll always support Hasbro, but we just wish that Hasbro would support us. Side note, “us” isn’t just “adults playing with kids toys”. “Us” means parents who play with their kids. “Us” means customers who want quality control. “Us” means adults who are showing neighborhood kids and youth groups what it means to be community. We want to be a community...emphasis unity. Hasbro, we want you to listen to us as we raise the next generation of your costumers and enjoy some valuable time having fun while we’re at it. Be a part of our commUnity...not just by accepting our money, but by sharing a common communal purpose.
The Titan is already as low as $75 as we speak. I've seen people get it for a low as $50-65 with additional discounts. Pretty bad for something that dropped at $99. At the moment the only reason I buy Nerf anything is for spare parts or to convert into something else (see: SPAMF).
i had to return 2 titans because the drums were faulty and even when feeding they fed so slow they halved the rate of fire of my quicker blasters. That is why the titan fires so slow , it is to cover up the failing of the 50 round drum
@@MrPoogly I took them apart to see what was causing it. The cause seems to be there is too much rotating mass for the spring to pull and the darts just put enough drag on the parts to make it not feasible. I even tried upgrading it with a heavier Foam Blast spring and it was even worse than stock so it seems the spring it came with was already DAMN heavy and that still wasn't enough
Is it wrong I read your title like a Seinfeld joke? What is the deal with Nerf?! They say Nerf or Nothin', and then 5 other brands come out and do their job better!
I've had a weird relationship with Nerf lately. I used to get super pumped to hit target and check out the new stuff, but it's all pretty blaise, and what is interesting is so excessively expensive it's just not worth picking it up and hoping I see it at a good will.
This video had to be made! Hasbro has to get a clue before things get much worse. I think your "Classic" gray modding blasters is a great idea! Keep up the great work, can't wait to see your next video.
For a while now ive had the thought that "when Hasbro fails, the darts change and the blasters are no longer produced, will worker and dart zone have the market share to hold out hobbie up? Or will all be lost?" Unfortunately our hobbie subsists on hasbro, a company that hates us and seemes set on our destruction. The future looks grim.
Apparently Nerf wants to be the very best in the genre but it doesn't want to be taken seriously beyond being a toy for little kids... And on the bad side of "For kids"
Hey Walcom, just broke up with my girlfriend of a year because she didnt care about spending time with me and cared more about herself. Your videos have always been there for me and will be great help tonight. Thanks walcom
Why waste time with Ultra when we already have Mega? Just give it some more love and suckers for Mega like me will come. Bring back the Magazines from the Centurion and make them more common with a Mega Stryfe or a Mega Retaliator, hell I'll take Mega Raider if it means we get more Mega Magazines in the ecosystem. Mega is my favorite subseries Nerf/Hasbro has done that isn't Rival and it hurts to see Mega stuck with mostly springers with just the one flywheeler with the Mastodon.
YES ! THANK YOU WALCOM ! These are things our local Nerf group has been talking about for the last Year at least. Price has been a major point. Like a Stryfe went from $20 to $40, because they added 3 meh attachments it didn’t really need? And the real way from Hasbro to combat cheaper better darts... for starters drop the price on the Elites and AccuStrikes to be competitive, they are not making Hasbro any many sitting on the shelf not being sold on a discounted price. Hell, the only Nerf ANYTHING left on the final day of Toys R Us was Dreadbolts and Nerf Darts... Hundreds of 250 nerf dart packs at 80% just sat there unsold. Hell, even the Jolts at 60% off were literally Walmart normal price. But part of that is exactly why TrU went out of businesses too, so I digress.
Recently nerf has been cutting costs of blasters by a little bit in the wrong places, they should really hire coop772, drac, and the other really good modders because they know what the community wants
@@lightacrobat2206 yeah I really hope nerf gets better in 2021, I think they can if they do these couple things, make more modulus blasters, put the regulators select fire on other blasters, get rid of elite 2.0 and ultra, add the infinus auto reload into other blasters, and make more micro shots
The problem with nerf. 1-lies, i recently purchased a cycloneshock, on the box it said it shoots upto 80 feet, maybe 35 at best. 2-overhype, the way nerf advertised elite 2.0, ultra and hyper made us excited but the guns mechanisms were terrible, except for the rush 40 hyper was bad, ultras honestly are good but the problems are the darts, put some accustrike ultra darts and the guns are actually really good, and elite 2.0 was garbage except for the turbine. 3- cheap savings, nerf cuts corners so much from painting one side only, trash access doors, the whole alpha strike line and glueing the guns shut. 4- kids, nerf thinks only 5 year olds buy their stuff, sometimes some idiotic parents buy their 6 year olds rival guns and they cry, they need to make nerf for older people, add good springs, cool paint jobs and make a pro series like dart zone. When they keep making fortnite reskins for 4 year olds nobody is gonna buy that crap. 5-discontinuing- every good non rival nerf blaster has been discontinued, imagine how much money they would made if they never discontinued the Vulcan or the long strike 6- how do people at hasbro not notice that their darts are shooting like a drunk bird, how about the make a damn dart that comes with a waffle head straight out of the box and not release the accustrike after a year of criticism.
It’s something like the early 2000s when Nerf started to get competitor like buster and other brands, however Nerf evolved and happily thrived. But now the same thing is happening but the market is against them. And they are too ignorant to change again.
I know not many if any will get where I’m coming from But I’m a guitar guy One of the biggest names of the guitar world is Gibson Gibson guitars are so so so expensive for little reason expect for one reason You aren’t buying the guitar, you’re buying the name The same can be said about NERF in my opinion And it’s a shame
I'm almost entirely on board with everything you've said here, Walcom. I think I have two quibbles, neither that I'm passionate about. Still: 1. I want the Ultra line to burn. I hate it. They might change my mind but right now, I just want it to go away. 2. Honestly the painting one side thing doesn't bug me. And as expensive as Hasbro's blasters are now, I'd hate to think I'd have to pay even more for them to get off their butts and paint both sides. Also, having nothing to do with anything, Hasbro should rerelease the Diatron. Carry on, Walcom, and have a great day!
Nerf is like the Apple of blasters, you're paying for a logo, not preformance. They even follow some of the same tactics as Apple, such as making this near impossible to fix/mod on purpose, or just reshelling the same internals and calling it "new." The difference between them is that Apple has kept their power because they successfully tricked their consumors into thinking that it was better, they sugarcoated it, that worked because most people HAVE to have a phone, so they went with the most poplulor brand because they had no idea what a "processor" or what "memory" and a "GPU" is, it sounded good, so they got it. That didn't work with nerf because it's a neiche market, people are going to look into the products first more than they would a phone because with the nerf hobby performance matters way more. Don't be one of those people giving me flak for disliking Apple, respect my opinion.
Nerf just needs to adapt to the more competitive competition. If I were them I would cut back on some of the goofy lines and focus on making a competitive regular dart line and promote it to be competitive against rival 14+. If they started selling stryfes and other good blasters shoot around that 100 FPS mark they would smoke the competition. If nerf would better promote performance, quality and aesthetics they would get a pass on the price because you would be getting a premium product.
Nerf you want to get back to your prime? Make the quality of your blasters better but make sure you dont unnecessarily make them expensive and join the pro line with more innovated blasters THE GEL BLASTERS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO GET IT OUT OF YOUR SITUATION
4:15 Ok but here like even if the Dart Zone "Rival" rounds are cheaper, official nerf rival rounds are more accurate and have more quality. But I'd agree that in terms of darts... dart zone is so much better.

NO
Alpha Strike here in the Philippines is the best thing we got since either Buzz Bee has slightly higher prices or Zuru with severe price differences with the usual Alpha Strike 499.75 PhP price point.
This is really something that needed to be said, and I’m glad someone deep in the community finally sat down and made a video like this.
"Nerf, it's better than nothing." should be the new motto instead of "Its Nerf or nothing."

The unamed potato I agree. The guns are also getting real weak. They don’t shoot as good or hard as they used to. And I know they try, but they need more innovative blasters that are not only good, but also attractive, hits hard, and worth an affordable price
The price is fine, it's the tech that needs to change

I feel like nerf would be better without hasbro. Hasbro just has dug it into the ground making bad/uncreative blasters just to squeeze every last dollar from the fans. I think that ultra just goes to show that prices are only going up with the whole proprietary ammunition and everything.
Either Hasbro will just discontinue everything when the brand fails or ,more unlikely, sell the brand to another company.
Well said! As I stated in my own comment, Nerf needs a new parent company.

No arguments from me walcom. I agree. Hasbro needs to wake up and smell the ashes
Well phrased sir, well phrased indeed.
Some of my points:
1.) Sometimes it feels like they are holding back on their designs.
Both are reshells are the Surgefire.
yeah. One of the most stupid things that Hasbro ever made is that discontinuing many beloved blasters.
I don't know, what is wrong with them?
*everything*
Nerf Firefly Corps. I KNOW RIGHT,
Buzzbee/Dartzone have really upped their game in the last couple years by making a ton of much higher quality stuff that's also well designed, while still being affordable. With Nerf not moving forward with their offerings, it's really closed the gap.
Xshot is also getting better than nerf
It's reopened the gap, but nerf is in last this time.
The Original N Strike and the Early N Strike Elites were the Best for Nerf, both sides painted, innovative, looks cool, comfy grips, no wasted plastic most the time

I still remember 2013 christmas when i got both the Retaliator and Rampage and playing with my little bro for the rest of the night

I had a feeling things were going downhill when they started re-releasing N-strike blasters in blue...
U mean the 6 elite repaints? Or different color schemes?
"you have tons of competition" I'd like to see how much more extreme his thoughts got on this after the release of the nexus pro and the spectrum
Someone like you would probably love that, and it would also show that they accept that they are not the only dart blaster company in the world
“Where all somebody has to do is kind of poke out 2 pins”
That, my good sir, is a felony according to the ATF
We can't forget the "shell strike" from reddit. That was a refreshing breath of air.
Also, alpha strike stryfe is happening. Along with a lawbringer reshell and what is speculated to be a p90
we should just have some the modifiers and nerf enthusiasts, then some for the sponsors and the little kids.

@@lightacrobat2206 yeah I really hope nerf gets better in 2021, I think they can if they do these couple things,
make more modulus blasters, put the regulators select fire on other blasters, get rid of elite 2.0 and ultra, add the infinus auto reload into other blasters, and make more micro shots
Hasbro should lesson to their fans more and not act like they should be a Monopoly on the Hobby
5-discontinuing- every good non rival nerf blaster has been discontinued, imagine how much money they would made if they never discontinued the Vulcan or the long strike
6- how do people at hasbro not notice that their darts are shooting like a drunk bird, how about the make a damn dart that comes with a waffle head straight out of the box and not release the accustrike after a year of criticism.
Nerf made the modulus long strike but it's like 70 dollars which is pretty overpriced since the og long strike was only like 20 bucks
Looks like Hasbro listened and made a alpha strike strife
It’s something like the early 2000s when Nerf started to get competitor like buster and other brands, however Nerf evolved and happily thrived. But now the same thing is happening but the market is against them. And they are too ignorant to change again.
I know not many if any will get where I’m coming from
But I’m a guitar guy
One of the biggest names of the guitar world is Gibson
Gibson guitars are so so so expensive for little reason expect for one reason
You aren’t buying the guitar, you’re buying the name
The same can be said about NERF in my opinion
And it’s a shame
Re-shells are only good when they re-release it but more powerful parts
Nerf: This is a delicious lunch and this milkshake is great.
Dart Zone: I think I shall take my straw and drink your milkshake.

I'm almost entirely on board with everything you've said here, Walcom. I think I have two quibbles, neither that I'm passionate about. Still:
I feel ashamed because I trusted in the nerf brand thank you for opening my eyes
I walked into Walmart and got a Alpha strike flyte only because the only other choice was a fortnite "smg" with no tactics
Hey I think the Flyte was better than the Elite 2.0 Phoenix.
Walcom:look at the hammer shot, the raven and the strife
Nerf: noted
Later
Nerf:THE NEW HAMMER STORM, HALO AND ELITE 2.0 strife
Nerf just needs to adapt to the more competitive competition. If I were them I would cut back on some of the goofy lines and focus on making a competitive regular dart line and promote it to be competitive against rival 14+. If they started selling stryfes and other good blasters shoot around that 100 FPS mark they would smoke the competition. If nerf would better promote performance, quality and aesthetics they would get a pass on the price because you would be getting a premium product.
D Benn this
Nerf you want to get back to your prime? Make the quality of your blasters better but make sure you dont unnecessarily make them expensive and join the pro line with more innovated blasters THE GEL BLASTERS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO GET IT OUT OF YOUR SITUATION
Such great video for 30 mins. Love the vid.
4:15 Ok but here like even if the Dart Zone "Rival" rounds are cheaper, official nerf rival rounds are more accurate and have more quality. But I'd agree that in terms of darts... dart zone is so much better.
wow already in november 2019 we are seeing signs of nerf going south
and this is before ultra and elite 2.0
Nerf: It's *_NERF_* or Nothing!™
Me: I'll go with nothing, thank you
