MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AFFECTED, millions of dollars in commerce lost and safety compromised in regards to ambulances not being able to transport people to hospitals and doctors not being able to get to work….all because of 1 persons actions. Everyone involved in this situation was getting paid exactly the same whether they were on the scene or sitting back at the station. These people are paid by the hour, and no one was on overtime, so it was not a "waste" of anything.
