Oh you haven't watch their concept trailers???!!! You need to, those are amazing Tdc:Magic, tdc:eternally and tcc:freeze have concept trailers too and are soooo good
Slowly becoming an adult Yes! Most MOAs are theorising that this is a loss of innocence kinda theme because they referenced many fairytales (not the disney version but the originals that are actually really dark). The Name Chapter is the beginning of the new era. We don't know what the album is called exactly yet. It's supposed to be something like "The Name Chapter : ____" but we'll see. The comeback is in January tho! 🤩
fun fact, I don't know most of the Disney versions haha didn't grow up with Disney but I grew up with German fairytales so I guess I know the original stories better than the Disney versions - this has nothing to do with TXT but I need to rant because the little mermaid is one of my absolute fave stories and I watched the Disney version and I am appalled, I hate it so much, I hate Eric ahfjkdksk the only redeeming quality is that Ursula is so freaking sexc but they made her storyline awful compared to the og story too ugh anyway, yes, back to TXT... love them, can't wait to hear more of their music haha
@@moonwalker ohmy I agree. Not just Eric but i dislike all Disney princes especially now since I look at the stories from an adult perspective. And yes TXT 💙
if you notice, they put the same instrument (the whistle) from MMA performance where they spoil the name chapter in the end, you can hear it in the background where beomgyu saw himself in the mirror after fighting with taehyun. and when hueningkai jumped it was at minutes 5:53 which we all know it's blue hour, we saw them falling off the sky in the blue hour mv too
I haven't seen Blue Hour yet, so I can't draw the similarities there but I really like that whistle sound, I hope it's one of the songs on the album it has lots of potential 👀👀
I highly recommend reading weverse article about this concept trailer, it explains the message of this album so well :) it's called "The devil has come for TXT" ^^ This trailer is sooo packed with literature&movie references, it's actually insane. One more thing, their concept trailer usually have different aesthetic than title track itself, so we can expect anything at this point ^^
Since I can see you have a "Blue Hour" reaction up now, I feel like I can comment on this, but during "Blue Hour," one of their themes was absolutely clinging to their childhood in the midst of the transition period to adulthood. But the two subsequent comebacks, "LOVESONG" and "LO$ER=LO❤ER," talked about them finding love that they thought was forever and taking risks to make that love work, only for it all to come crashing down. So now after "Good Boy Gone Bad," it feels like they're actively trying to throw themselves into the role of a jaded adult who doesn't care about soft and nice things anymore in order to deal with grief. Still, _minisode2_ ended on the note of acceptance, so I'm curious to know whether this album is going to be more focused on the darker aspects of reaching adulthood, or if they're almost springboarding backwards and trying so hard to be free of grief that they end up not caring about anything. Fighting their dark reflections, and all that. I find it really interesting that a lot of the lines that usually are read in carefree and childish ways ("I'll teach you," and most of Peter's narration to Wendy) sound _really_ sinister in this video. Not just careless and silly, as Peter is usually meant to sound, but actively threatening. A MOA in Korea pointed out that during the first dance sequence, Yeonjun is missing his shadow, just like Peter Pan. I don't have a source on this one, but I read in another video that the whistle melody comes from an older Kpop song, called "Trouble Maker," which might connect to "No Rules?" Perhaps. Anyway, thank you for the reaction
