We lost the summer sealed the deal and made me forever MOA. I found TXT and a bit later this song during lockdown and the combination of the tropical, slightly longing melody and the deep lyrics about all the loss during the pandemic gave me room to feel my feelings, yet keep my emotions from turning dark. I just love this song. It has a very special place in my heart.

I appreciate that the _universal_ response (almost universal anyway) to Kai being given the coat and hat by birds is that he's a Disney princess. Tragically, the dance break immediately following that shot is not actually part of the original song, which MOAs are still salty about to this day.
The Ferris wheel in the background of "Blue Hour" is actually a real Ferris wheel, and it's called MOA. Cute, huh?
"Blue Hour" is just a really vibe-y song. Strong nostalgia. The lyrics are still kind of heavy, honestly. "Before the orange-glowing magic in the sky comes to an end [...] Freeze this moment. I want to stay. I want to leave a trace of you and me. I want to be trapped in the magic. My time machine, dusk turning dark, I know that the end will come. The sun is down, down, down..." It sounds very desperate to me, like someone who _knows_ the end is coming but will do anything to hold on just a little longer before facing what comes next.
If "LOVESONG" didn't exist, "WLTS" would be my favorite TXT song. I don't think it's necessarily the best TXT song, but it was one that I just heard at the right time to be extremely impactful for me. When I heard it for the first time, I'd just lost a member of my family and a pet, and I'd moved across the world alone, leaving behind my partner and family when the pandemic was peaking, so. It hit me hard. I still tear up every time I hear it. No matter how many gratuitous crotch grabs the choreo has (watch the relay dance, lol, I swear--), it'll always feel like an emotional song to me. "A day, a week, a month, a year, walking alone in place going nowhere," always, _always_ hits too hard.
(Yes, it's about COVID, and the boys have confirmed that in interviews.)

I do get that Blue Hour has some sadder lyrics than its melody but it's definitely slightly brighter than what I just checked out before (things move quickly for me since I'm on a roll with TXT content haha)
and WLTS is definitely also already one of my fave TXT songs too - as I said, it's not groundbreaking but it's just good, everything about it is just perfectly executed and it makes it a standout song, the lyrics hit me too, although I'm not going through anything near what you were going through (hope you're feeling better now) but I am having a difficult time lately, but more in the "Run Away" area of lyrics tbh so that one is my favourite for now!

You've wrapped up their Korean discography. Now it's time for Japanese tracks, OST and covers:) and storyline MVs! Even if you don't want to dig deep into their lore, it's worth it for the sake of visuals and production (Eternally and Magic Island are basically short movies). If you will be reacting to Magic Island in the future please use version with subtitles (not from hybe channel).
ooooh I have concluded the discography - I don't always check Japanese tracks for every group, actually, most of the time I don't check them but I can see what they have.

I felt exactly the same about the dance break part when I first watched the music video. Or at least I feel like I can understand but there were actually no words to describe that feeling T___T It was like breathing fresh air, having fun and also feeling a little bit nostalgic about something I think I never had. And also is probably because you're fond of them lol
there is really something inexplicable about it and I am glad that there are a few of you telling me you felt the same because while editing I was really wondering what it is and why I still didn't find words 😭

and i really do agree with your take on the part you have rewinded on blue hour😭, like it basically has a connected tune with the song but it added more flavour to it and since it was released i really have wanted for the audio version of that and Bighit why!😭😂

@@moonwalker in general M1 (where this songs are in), is just my fave album,
when freeze came i thought it was my fave but as time passes by M1 is just so nostalgic in general and made me realize its just undethroned for me.
The songs on the album just gives you sentimental feels, many of my ult fave songs from TXT are from this album (Wishlist, WLTS and Ghosting), songs you wouldn't get tired of listening and will still give you goosebumps, Even "Way Home" just gives you chills and random tears when you listen to it, the totality of the album just gives off sentimentality and nostalgia.

hi thank you for leaving a comment, I appreciate your suggestion but I don't think I will include ASTRO for now - I'm actually reducing the groups I react to quite a bit lately and it's what's working for me right now.
But happy to tell you that I already know ASTRO quite a bit since they've been around for a while and are friends with a lot of my faves and have some hit songs that I've listened to before :)
