As someone who reconnected with their high school sweetheart after ten years, got married, had babies, and is living happily ever after, I really needed that little moment.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart! We’ve been together 13 years. People are too cynical towards young love. As long as it’s a healthy relationship, I don’t think there is any harm in believing high schoolers who say they’re in love. And when people spend energy trying to break up a young couple simply so they can “experience everything out there”, it gets awkward when they never break up.

@@carolineeasomYeah its a maturity thing imho. I had to do the whole "see whats out there" thing before I could settle down and I always viewed that as a shortcoming that I wanted to grow out of. Some people need that but it isn't because that is some kind of right of passage required for adulthood. Its because not everyone has the maturity and sense of self at that age to pull it off.
As far as people trying to break kids up? That is SO WEIRD. I am happily married to my best friend and it is amazing how resentful and jealous that people can be when they find out someone actually LIKES to be around their spouse. I think similar motives drive the breaking kids up behavior.
I think its super cool you guys stayed together. Speaks to your quality as people imo.

I like how you seamlessly make the uncontrollable outside noises part of the narrative. Other ASMRists either cut it out and re-record or apologize for the noise.
The family story was wild 😂 Also the hair salon tea with Bonnie and the bridesmaids.
The ASMRtists who edit out all the background noise are dedicated and I love them! I just don’t like to stop the flow if I’m in the zone.

as someone who graduated in 2020 and couldn't have prom, graduation, last minute trips due to covid, this is pleasantly surprisingly healing. I missed out on this but this gives a little of it back in a lighthearted way
as someone who also lost their senior prom to covid this comment literally spoke for me

This prom drama situation eerily reminds me of my own friendship ruining senior prom 😅 was told if I couldn’t find a date I’d have to sit at a ‘singles table’ and not with the rest of my friends who all magically paired up in the span of three months before prom and conveniently filled up a table without me. Long story short I luckily found some new friends who were more than willing to accommodate me at their prom table no matter if I had a date or not.

Caroline, you are one of the best creators out there IMO. The way you make all of these characters come to life is a big CHEFS KISS. In awe of how you can deliver the most ridiculous lines with such a straight face.

just had my makeup done for prom a few months ago. it's uncanny how accurate this is, especially in the south with a make-up artist to hire.
i wanted goth makeup, but as i said i'm in the south... so you can see why they rejected that idea.
This character reminds me of a lady who did my makeup in high school (in a pleasant way) so I wanted to pitch the idea of the lady who cut my hair later that year who absolutely did not want to cut my long hair off and give me the buzz cut I was looking for bc it wouldn't look feminine (which wasn't my goal) and spent the entire time after cutting the ponytail of by taking just ooone more inch off, okay just oooooooone more inch, bc maybe I'd like that and she wouldn't need to use the clippers. Feels like a character you'd nail in one go.
not only did i have a gatsby prom but we also did fiddler on the roof that same year - i feel so called out but in a relaxing way

I love this character. I’ve watched this video probably 10 times the past 3 days. It’s helped me sleep. I’ve been struggling to fall asleep and unwind after dealing with work and then taking care of my baby when I get home. I hope you make more videos with this character
