I would pay to have a modicum of this woman's live experiences with the human population. You play characters everyone has met before. Not just job/career title but specific mannerisms too.
The random oversharing of weirdly personal information in the awkward dead silence, to then just go right back to tooth-talk was hilarious, and super accurate😂
The way dentists start conversations you physically can’t participate in 😭 you just have to lay there and listen to personal information you don’t need or care about 😂
Once i was at the dentusts and my doctor SHOVES THE WHOLE TWO FINGERS IN MY MOUTH AND GOES "what music are you listenning to" (i had my earphones in BC they said i could) and the other dentist said "she cant answer while your FINGERS are in her mouth" and u was like THANK YOU😂😂😂😂
As senior dental hygiene student who is currently treating patients, this gave me a great laugh after a rough day in the clinic (and was scarily accurate). Never stop this style of ASMR!
Except for the fact that she did the fluoride toothpaste first. Your supposed to do it last because you really have to get all the gunk off of it before you put it on.
i LOVE when you named the teeth. it was so tingly, that’s my favorite part of my dentist appointments. When I was younger, my dentist used to make them after disney princesses! I would love to see more of this, but not pressure :)
you have become one of my fav creators right now!!! I love how natural each conversation is; the characters truly come to life I completely forget you’re just talking to a camera on your side!
“I want you to imagine each tooth is wrapping itself up in a towel and shaking it's little booty dry“ great imagery. I’ll remember that when I'm flossing.
Mild insurrection on 1/6 has me dying. But no seriously the dentist ones on the insta from a while back have been some of my favs. What would really make my year is a full length post office one with measuring a bunch of different packages (like in the insta reel) to be sent out for Christmas or something. That post office one I watch on repeat I have not been able to find anything like it anywhere
@@carolineeasom that is so cool! This character is insanely accurate, I’ve met ladies like this at the doctors and dentist way too many times. The voice at the beginning especially scared me a little because it sounded just like them 😭

I love that you had to cut at “those gums haven’t been touched in quite some time, we have that in common” because I cracked up at the same time. What is it with dental exams and the dentist telling you their life story and open ended questions when you can’t respond, mouth agape and tongue depressed? I deadass had a molar pulled while the dentist and her tech were talking about their vacation in Fargo (repping the midwest here) and how much she hates her mother in law. Being socially anxious, it made the tooth pull the least grueling part of the experience 😂 I’d love to book an appointment with this one!
I think thats the point: they make you worry more about the social aspect than the dental aspect so that you don’t notice if it hurts a bit whereas you would when its silent
i admitted to my dentist i brush my teeth every morning but sometimes forget at night (bc i have adhd and mental health struggles) and then right after, she and another dentist just talked about how gross it is when people don't brush twice a day in front of me and i cried
@@partylikeits1066I’m happy for you that you are able to brush often, but why reply with this on a thread where multiple people have mentioned struggling to brush their teeth regularly and feeling embarrassed about it? For those above I know it can be very hard sometimes, when my chronic illness was worse I found those chewable toothbrushes helped! I kept them by my bed and used them when I couldn’t manage getting up :)
@@evieorchid I don't blame anyone, I realise there are probably lots of different factors that might get in the way of doing basic things like tooth brushing. But I don't think it's true that it's rare for people to brush twice daily consistently. If you want to make changes to your life it's good to know what is realistic and feasible to know what kinds of goals you should be making. Brushing teeth consistently is definitely something that's doable for almost everyone and in fact many people do it. I'm not saying this to shame anyone (apologies if it comes off like that), but to not make it seem like a more difficult and daunting task than it is, and also to note that there are probably more specific reasons why it's not getting done other than it being a generally difficult task. Failing to do something that many people do with no issue doesn't mean that you need to feel bad about yourself or blame yourself, but it does indicate that you might need to take a different approach to get it done, or look at the underlying reasons that are stopping you from doing it. Which it seems we agree on actually! But I don't think it helps to be unrealistic about how difficult the task usually is. "Am I not doing this because the task is fundamentally hard, or because there's something else stopping me? Am I having a harder time with this than other people? Should I do what they do or do I need to develop other strategies?" These are good questions to ask
