It might get frustrating so just be careful not to pull it by the wires.

I have question I set up my BT-45 Infiniti to my 2006 M35x I connected once but I messed by switching the preset now it won’t come back up how do I get it back ?
My M35X has RCA input plugs on the back of the center console, so I just have a cable that I plug into my android phone and select AUX as the input. Not as convenient as Bluetooth of course but it works fine.
Does this method allow you to still use the factory installed Bluetooth for your phone? In other words are you using the BT45-Infi just to stream music and the M35's build in Bluetooth for your cell or are you using the BT45-Infi for BOTH streaming music AND for you phone? Since you didn't mention the included external mic. I'm assuming that you are only using it to stream music with the car's builtin Bluetooth for talking on the phone. If yes that's exactly what I want to do with my M35.
I'm probably going to try this next, I'm currently running out of options, does the bluetooth go through the bose speaker system? Or just the radio speakers
So I have a 2007 m35x and it has navigation and BT hands free built in, but of course you can't play music from a smart phone via the factory BT. just trying to clarify, you're accessing where the XM antenna is and disconnecting that and plugging in this BT device in its place and playing music through that BT device on the radio's XM setting?
Hi msmith, Yes, you are tapping into your car's XM radio. Before installing the BT45-INFI, the radio wouldn't even let me select XM radio. So I never even knew that the car was equipped with satellite radio. However, once I plugged in the BT45-INFI, the car recognized it. I hope this helps. Thanks, Alan
Hi Soulrokerzz, Good question - sorry for not addressing this in the video. You are able to use the steering controls to change the volume as well as take calls. However, you are not able to skip songs. Therefore, you need to manually change the song on your phone. Thanks, Alan
Hey so I just recently installed mine on an 07 m45 and it powers up and connects bt/aux but it only works with the right side of my speakers but not the left, and they all work when I change it to a radio station, did I not connect it right or did it come broken
Where did u plug the other end of the aux cord to. I don't have a aux feature in my car. Once I understand how that works, I'm buying one. FM transmitter works but sound quality sucks
would this work for a 2010 m35? and does it automatically connect when you get in the car if your phone Bluetooth is on? and can you skip and pause using the dash radio controls? thanks
Hi Chris, According to the USA Spec website, it does not work with the 2010 M35 - only up to 2009. Sorry. Yes, it does automatically connect if bluetooth is on. No you cannon skip and pause with the dash radio controls. You need to change song on your phone/device. Thanks, Alan
Hi Benny, The dash does NOT need to opened up at all with this method. I did not personally run the AUX wire because I only use bluetooth. However, if I were to run it, I would run the cable up through the rear speakers, behind the rear seats, and then through the center console. You will need to drill a hole from your trunk to your rear cabin if you want to run the AUX. I hope this helps. Thanks, Alan
