I thought both Sam and Joey spoke extremely well, to tell us about their experience. Great job guys. I also want to say nice hat Sam. My uncle was a priest and taught at that school, was even the interim president in 1952. Have a great weekend.
Been to DV 3 times and all the places you mentioned. Also hiked Telescope Peak which is just over 11,000'. My visits were in the warmer months. It was 122 degrees one trip. Truly amazing place
My first time there was in 1984 when I took two boys on a camping trip. We spend 2 days there seeing the many different places..at that time there was Scotty's Castle which we enjoyed a lot.. no way can one see everything in 2 days. Of course we went in winter lol..no place to go in summer..
Oh wow! That really sounds like an amazing experience. Sometimes I wonder what these national parks were like in 30-40 years ago. I’ll bet you didn’t encounter the crowds we do today.
As a former NPS ranger, I really do enjoy your videos. Those kids are lucky. Out experiencing life instead of sitting at home playing with their smart phones. But just one suggestion ; reduce the music volume.
@@ourarmyadventure just an old mining ghost town, the most famous attraction is a house made out of beer bottles. It’s one of our favorite places in Death Valley.

Planning a trip out there next week I was curious of the road closures any input you can give me of the current situation?
We didn’t notice any closures on the way there, but we were prepared for delays.
