@@ProtectiveDadPranks Thanks man! This is a really nice intake and a way to show it off in car shows. I have an idea.. maybe putting some LEDs or something on the other side of the glass on the top side and connect to the trunk lights so it illuminates the intake. I might do all that lol. No check engine lights after a month or so? I know you mentioned it but have you driven it for more than a month with no check engine lights or issues?
The science behind Eventuri is pretty convincing, and flow bench tech with computer simulation demonstrates this thing is worth the money. It probably stands out more on track where on and off throttle response would be more noticeable. In the upper rpm range it probably makes a serious difference.
Man that really looks great. I believe it was Chip Foose once said that “ when you raise that hood up you want it to look like the most expensive diamond in the box” and I think you accomplished that. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t find much difference. I will tell you one time I had to have my rear taken off for a exhaust install so I removed the plastic cover and drove 45 minutes. It was insanely hot. So I know the plastic cover does something.
I can’t say I felt a weight reduction. I can without a doubt say I feel the throttle response is much quicker and the car itself just seems to “get on it” much quicker.
It is a gorgeous intake system, but also extremely expensive. $2500 is a chunk of change for something that you have to open your trunk anytime you want to see it. I have a 2020 HTC so seeing the engine really wasn't important for me. I spent a lot of money on the car and would rather look at it and it's incredible lines with the trunk closed, specially at a car event. The other thing is you could just get the Attack Blue air filter in the stock air intake and I believe it adds 11hp/9trq for @$140. Way better value. I did look at the Eventuri system and they are definitely a premium quality product, but just didn't make sense to me for how I use my car. A buddy has one on his RS5 and loves it. Thanks for the video. It really looks nice in the car. Cheers
Thanks for the comment. I had the attack blue filter in this before. I noticed zero difference in performance. I totally get the HTC aspect although my buddy has the HTC model of the Eventuri and loves it. I’m a firm believer in cold air intakes. This one made a huge difference in throttle response for me. I’d say put just about any cold air intake in the C8 even if it’s not this one. After having one I would never own a C8 without a cold air intake system. Like I said it doesn’t have to be this one. But definitely get one. You’ll thank me later. It makes a huge difference.
What I thought. I like the idea but I’m not too excited about that much change. ‘23 3LT Z51 Amplify Orange, body color accents, dual silver stripes, dual roof, front lift, etc. I’m a 66-year-old Texas car guy. I have owned many highly modified and violent cars. I always hated corvettes. But the C8 is a sea change. I have the tools and skill to build whatever. I just can’t bring myself to screw with this car. I am totally blown away by this thing. Just the way GM made it. That’s just me. I totally understand the modify bug!
@@killerkane1957 that’s awesome. Where are you at? I’m in Fort Worth. Trust me. It’s definitely worth the upgrade. About to install one in my buddies HTC.

Running a Halltech Intake on my 2020 C8 and love it but this screams look at me!!!!!!!! Might have to sell my Halltech for this. Does the top still fit in the truck with the new cover?
Steve, Damn that looks 🔥 The clear cover is what really sets this CAI off from any others on the market. Halltech's CAI is very comparable with HP & Torq gains, but that clear cover hits hard man! 33 🖕 Currently 😆 Be well -Shane
Hey Steve is there anyway you can send me an email address or a way for me to message you. I have a few questions and a couple needs i have about this product.
Does the Roof still fit in the trunk? YES!
Does that create more heat in the trunk than before?

Looks like there's more clearance. Can you access the Transmission Fill Plug for the 2 liter top off?
It sure seems like it.

Great job on this podcast today, very informative, what a wonderful job on the installation
Thank you so sharing
Thanks Bill. Appreciate taking the time to watch.
This thing is absolutely amazing!
It’s sure is. Can’t wait to put one in yellow on your 2023 C8 HTC!
Hello, does the hardtop still fit in the luggage compartment?
No problems at all
That engine bay is popping off the charts.
Thanks so much!
After the install did you notice any difference in the trunk temperatures, or is that not really a factor for you?
I don’t find much difference. I will tell you one time I had to have my rear taken off for a exhaust install so I removed the plastic cover and drove 45 minutes. It was insanely hot. So I know the plastic cover does something.
I have to really admit…beyond the cool look those numbers are subpar at best!!! Look at the Zo6 model it’s pushing over 30!!!! Now that’s gains man
Awesome content buddy 👍 looks amazing 🔥🔥

Does if void warranty ?
Nope. Double checked before installing

Yes in less than 2-months when they start selling the HTC version.
Looks amazing. I wonder how dirty and easy it is to keep the clear plastic cover clean.
That will be the question. Thankfully removal of the cover is not hard at all. This is definitely a time will tell type thing.
Maybe when if and when it gets dirty you could show us how easy it is to remove and clean. It looks like an awesome addition. Thank you.
@@TXBucksnort actually a great idea. A 6-month review. Thanks!!!
Does it come with new carpet or did you have to cut it yourself?

A lot of money for a small hp gain. Seems more cosmetic.
