My friends!!! In an effort to explain each of the innovations we’ve developed for Teleport, I’m going to make a separate video / email for each main theme. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU'D LIKE ME TO ADDRESS! #1 is “Precision Looping.” I’m sure you - like me - have felt that making loops in time has always felt like pure luck when you get it right. It’s almost like magic. That’s for 2 main reasons: 1. The record stop is on the RELEASE of the footswitch, not the press. 2. There isn’t smart drum machine / metronome with a count in that snaps your playing to the grid. To learn more, click the video above - and then get excited for Black Friday by entering your email on teleport.guitargate.com to be first in line to teleport!
So excited for you Michael and I'm happy you chose to produce it in America, ensuring better labour practices! Can't really afford one right now, but maybe the next crop!
Oh shit, well that explains my problem! I picked up an RC5 this summer and only briefly played with it. I just couldn't get the loop to feel smooth and this is why, I was expecting it to work on the press like with all my other pedals!
499 is the BF discounted price. It’s that price because it costs a lot to make… but it was done right. There’s not a single decision that came up where we chose to compromise quality.
Howdy! Everyone should absolutely practice with a loop pedal. It allows you to work on rhythm and lead playing. And teleport will really help you play IN TIME - which is the main thing most beginners (actually everyone) needs to work on. Thanks!
Exactly. I never realized that was happening until I went to make one. As soon as I tried it like this I was sold. The difference is extremely noticeable. Like wicked precise.
Awesome! I’m telling you it’s Rock solid, and feels great. You won’t regret getting the pre-sale deal! If it wasn’t lights out awesome I wouldn’t make it.
Ooooo. We can make it do that. This is the beauty of Wi-Fi … if people want something, we just make it and release a firmware update. The app automatically checks for updates and it only takes 10 seconds or so.
The RC500 is probably your closest competitor- it does almost all you say but nowhere near as intuitive to use- I think adding wireless and the functional screen are genius ideas 👍 the rc500 does do intros, set the beat, import other people loops but via USB and record on button press (ruclips.net/video/X3JY03lsebc/видео.htmlsi=3IfctoCjcX9QSUqT) but like I said, nowhere near as user friendly as yours. I've preordered one and will defo order on friday and hope you sell millions 😊
I’ve always wanted a looper with click/drums. Nice. Button wise, my electro harmonic has two buttons and is very easy to use. Single click for everything, but the click thing in your looper is intriguing. I’m afraid to see how much it costs.
@ thanks Michael. Unfortunately, a bit out of reach at the moment. Love your channel, btw. Contemplating becoming a subscriber for the lesson content. One last thing, how ‘bout an Eva Cassidy reaction? Autumn Leaves? It’s insanely good. Just sayin…
I've tried so many differents loopers but still keep my RC3 because of its simplicity and yes that's always the problem of start and stop. That's why i always use it in auto rec mode to start recording exactly at the good time it's like a precount for me, and it help me to record in right time but still got the problem in stop that right and i allways press it very fast 🙈😂 ok I register my email🙏👍
You are telling me the Boss is not capable of measuring the time between first press and last release and removing that couple of milliseconds from the recording?
I cant speak for boss, but I tell you that we spent a lot of time working on this and the short answer is doing that doesn’t feel right / natural. If you want it snappy and immediate, it needs to be dedicated. If the foot switch does multiple things you have to give up something. Believe me - this was a long multi-month exploration - and we really wanted to have the L foot switch do more things - but it just felt so much better and natural this way. It’s very noticeable.
We’re gonna be able up upload any samples we want via over the air firmware update!! So if there’s a drum sample from an artist that has them, we’ll have the ability to send it to everyone’s pedal in seconds. And I know It is! I wish I could make it cheaper but I REALLY didn’t want to make glitchy overseas buggy crap.
Totally get it. the Wi-Fi tech makes it next-level awesome but costs a ton to manufacture. Even selling direct to customers doesn’t leave much margin. Wish I could make it cheaper!

Thanks Kyle!
I'm a looping junkie, this is so high on the wish list .. freaking cool man!!!
Let's goo!

EXACTLY
I also have the rc5, i thought i just sucked on looping. Now i understand that i am not...
I’ve never even had a loop pedal, but this looks like it’s incredible. So good timing for me. Guessing it may be pricey so that could be rough

This thing is so freaking cool!
Thank you, Michael. I want to go from beginner to intermediate guitar playing. I would imagine that this would help get me there sooner?

Bought and sold many just for that reason, I would get it right every once and awhile, they were more frustrating than fun.
Exactly. I never realized that was happening until I went to make one. As soon as I tried it like this I was sold. The difference is extremely noticeable. Like wicked precise.
I’ve used nearly every looper made and I have to say I’m excited about the potential of this pedal.
Awesome! I’m telling you it’s Rock solid, and feels great. You won’t regret getting the pre-sale deal! If it wasn’t lights out awesome I wouldn’t make it.
Very nice and all the best! When using it live on stage - drums muted - will there still be a count in shown via the blue tap light?

Thanks so much!! You will like it. The team of engineers involved are really, really thoughtful and I can tell you it shows.
I gotta jamman looper which works with the digitech sdrum…keeps loop in time and many drum options.
Boom! Enjoy it
That's a very cool pedal Michael. Congrats!
Thanks so much!
♨♨♨ Can't wait to get the Trio+ soon! But this is an option for me for sure!
Love it! Let me know what questions / concerns you have!

It’s 499 pre-sale 599 retail because of all the Wi-Fi tech in it.

Exactly!! Thanks! You won’t regret it. It’s better than I can show.
I’m a paraplegic (motorcycle crash), so I can’t use my feet to stomp pedals while I’m playing. Looping in time is tough.
Oh brother I bet it is. Can you use your hands?

Let’s hear the drum sounds and a demo on how to use them. Won’t lie.. $500 is steep! Thanks for what you do!

I like it, Mike. For $500 ,however, I'll stick with the one I'm using now.
