I've never been this happy before. Finally, Nitecore made a flashlight that I have wanted since I first started this hobby. Thank you, Nitecore, for making my dream flashlight!
The MT2C pro is probably as close as it gets to the perfect EDC flashlight (yet). Although I usually prefer something smaller and more lightweight and with 114 grams and nearly 12 centimeter it's right on the edge for me. but the 67000 candela are insane for a light this size, it even outperforms the MH 12 pro with 3300 lumens and THAT means a lot !!! The simple two modes are great, all you'll ever need, nothing you don't, no strobe, beacon, SOS or other stuff you play around with for a day or two but never need in real life. Completely sealed, no silly side port, running alternatively with CR123 primaries, tail stand, no accidental turn on - tell me what's not to like about that light?
wonder if the head from the 18350 mt1c pro will work(50/1000lm) on the 18650 body? i find the output great, but the 18350 battery is an odd size light to carry(short). pocket clip could definitely be looser but thats easy enough to do. wish they would scale the mt1a pro up to 18650, id be all over that!
Love Nitecore, my fav brand, but no medium mode is a deal breaker for me. They call it "tactical" because there's no memory mode hence why it always starts on high, and that's actually a requirement of many LE agencies. Just a marketing trick I guess, as many "non tactical" lights have a "tactical" mode anyway. I know you already know this, just saying...
Im starting to not want tac features in EDC lights lately. Companies are trying to do too much making an all in one light that it gets a little overwhelming. Meaning I don’t want tac features in my EDC and vice versa. I’ve probably stated the opposite in some of my reviews but my tastes are changing
Great video brother, I'd like your honest opinion in the differences between Nitcore, Stream light, olight etc. I'm a huge olight fan particularly their tactical line. Thank you
damn if you had no other 18650 batteries, and they shipped you a light without a battery, would you still be able to do the review? 520 metres is quite a thrower.
Higher candela means that you can have lower lumen output for the same amount of usability. @2200 candela, 50lm on this light looks as bright as most edc lights at 250lm. Plus you get way better run time at low lumens/high candela. This is a design choice, and a good one.
MT2C pro. I have both and despite the 3300 lumens, the MH12 pro doesn't stand a chance, it is completely outthrowed by the 1800 lumens of the MT2C pro. The tint is also much nicer.
CHRISPY Things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Review as always, but this will be a ‘pass’ for me. Nice enough light, but a bit too basic for me. Just a personal view. Besides, It is similar to my Javelot Mini. Certainly wouldn’t replace my P20ix. Just Go! ✌💪
Thanks. And regarding it being simple, sometimes that’s all I want. Just grab a light and not have to think about the UI. Not always but it does happen from time to time
@@ChrispyThings You're Welcome, and I get you. 😊 KISS applies sometimes. Nothing worse than fumbling with a light, in the dark, trying to get it to function. The output on this light was impressive. Like I said, the Javelot Mini works for me, and even it is a bit too ‘simple’ for me sometimes. Peace!
@@ChrispyThings Oh, I hope You always keep your format. About the best out there, and I never tire of the walking section with the music. Love that song. Watch out for da planes! 😆
Never ever ever ever make an flashlight start on its highest setting!!..over time especially if your using it primarily in its lowest setting to begin with.overtimenyou lose battery life because it engages the highest setting your losing battery life..speaking of low on this light it should be between 100lm-150lm not 50lm..or as well as atleast having a mode memory..beam profile is incredible..I'll stick withnmy nitecore p23i until nitecore decides to pull their heads out of their A55..a higher low will always save you battery life.. think about it..if confused . I'll explain.👍
It's a thrower first and foremost, so starting in high makes sense. The 50 lumens in low are plenty bright and recharge further than an Acebeam Pokelit AA with 1000 lumens (no surprise given the total different beam patterns). Who really cares about battery life in this time and age. The recharge cycle is about 500 and once it has reached eol, just buy a new one, they don't cost a fortune.
@@LV-42617 don't be mad because I make more sense than a multimillion dollar flashlight company..and as far as it's a thrower it should start off in high?..and if it's a flooder than it should start off in high as well?..your right though it's a thrower..not tactical so on that note no need for starting in high..I don't wish it on you or anyone else..but if your ever in the situation you need extra battery life and you don't have it maybe you would see my point of view..that's why I ended my comment by saying I'll stick with my Nitecore p23i..don't misunderstand..I would have loved one that flashlight..it was only advice on what would have made it better..buy 10 of them if it makes you happy..when i get another thrower it's gonna be the Nitecore mh25 pro.
@@omegarad123 Lol why I should be mad? I couldn't care less what you think is the right choice and probably vice versa. "Tactical" is an overused term these days and I also couldn't care less about it. What I do care about is that the MT2C is the most pocket friendly thrower I have come across yet and that it does EXACTLY what I want - max light output instantly. I also carry always an Acebeam Pokelit for a wide, flood beam and it is set to start in "low" most of the time. And I never cared about batt life or cycles, because I always make sure my lights are fully charged and I always carry one/two spare batt(s), either of the same type or matching primaries, so I can assure you, that my lights work as long as I need them.

Thanks for the sub!

What hobby is that?
I use a cloth hockey handle tape to wrap my flashlights to improve grip. Works great. Great light, I own it.
I’ve seen that before. You’re right it works very well
Would it be sticky from all that hockey tape adhesive?
Wow. Great light. Holy!! Impressive. Absolutely.

300 to 1800 would be a better combo for me. 300 is a sweet spot

It works with 18350 body and based on my measurements has candela same as mt1c pro
Forgot to add . You do not need buy this body to get 1000lm , use cr123 batteries
Essa top meu irmão parabéns
Starting always in high is good for self defence... you can blind the treath very fast(human or animal)
Would be the best flashlight ever if it was double tap quick to get to low.
if this is super small compact, what is the MT1C Pro?
Even smaller, even more compact but it lacks the insane throw (although very good too).
Price: $59.95 - Thanks for The Video 💖

How’s the tint also what would be better for security purposes this or p23i ??
Tints not that bad honestly. And for security, the p23i all day
I work security and the p23i is my go to work light
Yeah I use it been using it now for about a month or so it’s pretty good still haven’t gotten to use to flash down cops or anything I’m a bouncer
Might be the only light that can beat the T1. I doubt it
Comparison...wuben T1 vs nitecore mt2c. Do it..do it.
T1 has size of 21700 - based so not comparable. Propably better to compare to Weltool T2 TAC or Surefire DFT
Yo...work on those cuticles bro...lol. great video. ❤😅

Always straight to high is a deal breaker for me. I'm not that tactical, I guess 😂
It takes less than 0.5 seconds to start in low.
tini2 is good enough for me
Too bad there no medium option maybe around 150 to 300 lumens.
300 would have me sold on it I agree

Its rather a tactical light than edc. With this in mind a strike bezel would have been nice.
