Correction: The MT1C Pro actually throws at 393 yards. The beam intensity is 32,500cd. 1000 L on High and 50L on low. 1H 15MIN RUNTIME on High | 16H RUNTIME on Low Apologies for the confusion.
nah. a million lights have that. this one is dead simple. and given the beam profile, 50 lumens can "feel" like a flood 200 lumens in many situations up close.
I’m looking for a flashlight that is small, powerful, rechargeable via usb c, and has a belt holster. What do you recommend? This light gets most of my needs but doesn’t come with a belt holster and is not as powerful as I would like.
3:05 The diameter of the battery tube appears to be significantly larger than that of the battery itself. Is there any movement of the battery that could possibly cause wear on the contacts? Thanks.
so is there anything about this size with more spill??? definitely don't need more than a 200yard throw. maybe should be looking at an armytek right angle unit?
This looks to be a competitor to the Streamlight 1L1AA except the Streamlight is programable, which i LOVE. Also similar to the Klarus XT1C, but that has three modes. This light is nice but just doesn't add anything to the table [except the bigger battery].
Just received my MT1C Pro today……… when taking the battery out to give its first charge, I noticed some lubricant I hope on the exterior of the battery itself, is that normal, should I be concerned about battery leakage?
nice & easy to use..simple ui flashlight..i have the mijomi j81 & wurkkos fc12 in short tube with 18350 battery..i would love to have this 1 or the mt2c pro because i use both the 18650 & 18350 batteries on my flahlights..i dont have any Nitecore products yet..maybe this would be the 1st or the mt2c pro👍
ever since nitecore rolled out these new nitelab leds they've been killing it in the overall industrial design category as well. they are now equal to weltool and acebeam in affordable but high performance torches. i won't bring up the high end american lights like mod light and surefire.... whoops, i did.
go buy some nerd light with andril bowl-of-spaghetti interface if you want that. 1-lumen moonlight is nice on a keychain. but this is a dead simple tough small light with a great clip. plus it's cheap. i'm glad nitecore chose to focus the features of this light rather than listening to the neck beards on the blf forums.
@@jayling8086 I already have the HC 35 for a headlamp and I would love to have this one as a back up for that…it’s an easy fix for nitecore, I’m not sure why they didn’t build it with the dual clip to begin with…
nah. i want some spill in an edc. go buy he nitecore tup if you want that. i like tir's in dedicated throwers. but also take a look at the acebeam p16 for an 18650 tac light that can stretch-double as edc.
I have mt1c pro.. when I first bought it, I was not satisfied because it was very small and I was worried that the battery would not last.. but when I use it every day, I am very satisfied with its capabilities.. even though there are 2 modes... the first mode is indeed often used because it doesn't dazzle the eyes, able to give a pointing light when it's night and dark... mode 2 turbo .. really helps us find or give a bright light to focus on the target we see..... 100 meters bathing uk his light...... the best nitecore mt1c pro... the battery life is also long... don't always use turbo mode either.. haha

Nothing new.
Would've been even better if it had medium mode as well of around 300 lumens, but that's just me.
nah. a million lights have that. this one is dead simple. and given the beam profile, 50 lumens can "feel" like a flood 200 lumens in many situations up close.
YES. 50 to 1000 is too big of a jump.
I highly recommend both Nitecore MT1C Pro and MT2C Pro. My review is in progress!
Lets go!
I just purchased a MT2C Pro a couple of weeks ago, love it !
I'm literally holding the o.g Mt1c and its perfect still. Low, high, off. 1cr123 and 350 lumens.
As an Olight guy. I really like the Nitecore too.

this is only with the cr123 profile batteries. the included 18350 fits normaly.
so is there anything about this size with more spill??? definitely don't need more than a 200yard throw. maybe should be looking at an armytek right angle unit?
Whats the runtime

This one will appear much brighter (with a longer throw) than the Klarus one. The Streamlight is a solid light, but it only has 350 lumens.
@@Let_there_be_flashlight It's a very nice light. If you come up with a low-med-high version of it, I'm all over it!
1/2 the lumens is not slightly less with the CR123 battery
Most CR123As are rated for 1.5A, RCR123As are around 2.5A, and 18350s can be up to 10A. A larger current draw means brighter light.
in practical use, given the beam profile and step down ATR... i think the overall experience was properly explained in the video.
Just received my MT1C Pro today……… when taking the battery out to give its first charge, I noticed some lubricant I hope on the exterior of the battery itself, is that normal, should I be concerned about battery leakage?
That's perfectly normal. The factory usually applies lubricant to the threads, and we are supposed to do the same every 6-12 months.
@@Let_there_be_flashlight Awesome, thanks much..

This would be a fantastic first flashlight from Nitecore.
@@NitecoreStore my sister is there working in Singapore n0w..i will tell her to go & buy for me @ your physical store😊

great presentation. i'm buying another flashlight i don't need lol.
You'll always need it!
Cool
They need to make aa / aaa versions......yup
Greenish tint?
I’m wondering the same thing.
No.
just bad camera work. They didn't color correct.
My MT2C Pro has the greenest beam I’ve ever seen. Will probably order one of these and report back on it.
@@jonathancaldentey4615 That is not good! Glad I asked!
I want a 1 lumen mode on any flashlight that I carry daily. If your eyes are adjusted to the dark, 50 lumens will sear your retinas. 😂

Is there a way you guys can send me a sample of the edc 35? Let me know thank you Guys!.
IF!! That came with a clip that would slip onto a hat,,,,, i'd a bought it. Sorry
Exactly my thoughts. Make it a dual clip and I’m all in but otherwise it’s a hard pass for me.
Add a dual clip so it can clip onto a hat and it’s awesome…otherwise not so much. Sorry guys…
Just buy the tup or the t4k

I really wish Nitecore would have gone with a TIR instead.

hopefully they will make another version that has a Strobe on it just like Olight Baton 4
Needs a S-clip, or easily reversible one, so I can stick it on my hat brim as an improvised headlamp.
Nitecore is the best, I have purchased other flashlight brands but once I saw the quality of your flashlights I fell in love 🎉
Good start by blinding everyone.
I have the MT2C and just love it. I do NOT miss the extra modes it lacks.
MT2C Pro is a terrific flashlight.
or two mode programable to default to the low first

I wish Nitecore would re-invent a EC11 (v2)
Only thing I dislike is the pocket clip. If your not using it multiple times an hour or day.... great... otherwise it's a bear.
This light gets too hot too fast on high mode. It needs a medium mode.
What the hell is a 'yard'? Can you please use 'meter' just like the rest of the world?
Let me google that for you sir.
Twist tail-cap lockout?
Maybe that’s not exactly accurate?
manual lockout mode :)
Twist-function, yes.
But the battery tube doesn’t actually have a twistable or removable tail cap.
